    Im thinking of pitting single adjustable coilovers like this in my 67 volvo 122. I want it to handle well on a track and the street. These will be mounted on a solid rear axle with a parallel 4 link with a panhard. What stroke would you recommend for something like that?

    I have the stage 2 kit on a B body Impala SS and the ride is pretty bouncy and stuff. Plus my front suspension doesn't feel comfortable at highway speeds. A lot of bounce. Any clues on how to make a it a smooth compliant ride?

      Hi there! You may want to look at adjusting your compression and rebound of your shocks! If that hasn't helped, you may need a different spring rate. Please give us a call at 952-985-5675

      @QA1 Yeah I have the front both set to 9 clicks...smh My mechanic said "it should be fine". I'm actually going to a suspension specialist tomorrow. Going to set everything to zero and adjust from there. I'll call if I need help. Thanks so much for reaching out.

    I have a sa twintube coilover 24 way adjustable damper 10k front 7k rear for a 98 honda crv. I have the settings at 14 from full soft front and rear. Going over speed bumps feels like it wants to shoot to the moon why is that? Too stiff or ...?

    • @QA1TECH
      @QA1TECH  2 роки тому +1

      It could be that it is too stiff. We would recommend adjusting your knobs to a softer setting.

    • @gabrielr6679
      @gabrielr6679 2 роки тому

      @@QA1TECH so would I have to soften both front and rear or rears only and vice versa? Bcuz it seems like it's the rears that are too stiff and wants to shoot to the moon

    • @QA1TECH
      @QA1TECH  2 роки тому +1

      @@gabrielr6679 I would recommend starting on the rears if that is where you are noticing the stiffer ride. It may take a couple tries to find the right setting. Feel free to reach out to our tech line for more assistance if needed! 952-985-5675

      @@QA1TECH Thanks for the advice it's been 24 years since the struts have been changed and I'm trying to understand sa twintube coilover that states that it has 24 adjustments on damping force. I guess it's only adjusting rebound only?
      Maxpeedingrods customer service sucks, sound like they are reading what to tell me instead of actually trying to help me.

      @@QA1TECH Can you guys make a video on setting dampers from full soft to finding the sweet spot for your ride and also go over bumps and explain what is happening like if it's too stiff or soft, for a SA twintube and monotube? Like actual on car/truck/suv visual or animated explanation as some of us needs to see what is being explained.

    Here is the question I need answering asap, I hope y’all answer.... so do you have coilover bounce with these? With double adjustable? I don’t want a bouncing ride I’m looking for solid clean ride like you would with spring strut set up, I have coilovers now Bc racing and I can’t fucking stand the ride at all the back is stiff yet rebound there front a hop favtory when cornering hard with the firmest setting to the wheel just in and out in and out almost crashed around a corner cause of this bullshit, I’m willing to pay your price if y’all can guarantee me I will have the ride I’m looking for
