Happy fruitful year,I'm beyond excited! In just one week I'll be debt-free, having paid off my entire $285,000 debt and begun a new chapter of financial freedom.
its luck, it's me just being at the right place at the right time. I met a financial and trading consultant at a seminar back at Los Angeles later last year, where she was featured and interviewed and I reached out to her afterwards. Her name is Elizabeth Ann Hanson, I didn't know much about trading and investing so I spoke to her about it, she then later introduced me to her platform where I and other people could invest.
Our Pastor is very must in touch with all the traditions of the church. This weekend, as Candlemas fell on a Sunday, liturgy started with a traditional blessing of all the candles we will use throughout the year. Not many go to the trouble of preparing for this special blessing. It was beautiful. It touched my heart that you spoke about it today. The church Universal is alive and well.
Father, It is so good to receive the historical perspective of our feast days and Church traditions. Today is also the last day of the Christmas season. The day we take down our Christmas trees!
Thank you Father Brad for such a beautiful reflection. We have so many wonderful traditions in our Church. I’m almost 70 and don’t recall if I learned about making the Sign of the Cross from my childhood studies at Church or from my parents, but I’m leaning towards my parents because we have always done so when traveling. To this day, whenever I’m with family, we look closely to see if a church we are passing is Catholic so that we can make the Sign of the Cross. We point it out so that the driver is aware too. I know we still do so even when traveling alone. It makes me feel closer to Jesus when I do. Thank you Jesus, for Your sacrifice to save us. 🙏🏽♥️
Happy Candlemas Day to all.🕯️ I learned when I was a child to make the sign of the cross when passing a Catholic Church. I, somewhere along the way, forgot this wonderful tradition. Thank you Father Brad for reminding me. 🙏🏻
I was taught as a child to make the Sign of the Cross when passing a Catholic Church and I still do to this day. I only learned of Candlemas a few years ago. I love learning from Fr Brad. Have a blessed Sunday everyone!
Thank you for this marvelous reflection and lesson, Father Brad! As a young girl growing up in a Catholic school (St. Anthony’s in Baton Rouge) we were indeed taught to make the sign of the cross when passing in front of the church, but sadly, I sometimes forget, and get out of the habit. I appreciate this reminder! God bless y’all! 💙😇🙏 Meline
We received the blessing of throats after mass today. I love our traditions rituals and sacramentals. Connects us to our past present and future in such a beautiful manner.
Wow! Another great reflection. I wasn’t taught of making a sign of the cross when passing a Catholic Church, it is a habit I will had to my life. The thought of so many passing Jesus by even in church is more reality than I wish it was. Thank you Father Doyle for this reflection.
Thank you for this reflection Fr. Brad. Somewhere in my memory bank I vaguely remember my mother making the sign of the cross in front of church when passing by. I am sure she taught me why & to do so.
I'm 31 and I'm so glad my parents taught us to make the sign of the Cross as we passed by a church! They even taught us or guardian angels are bowing as we pass by😇 I do wonder where they learned that tradition though Thank you for the reminder Fr.; God bless
Thank you Father Brad! I will some times read the scriptures and not fully understand it but you make it so easy and exciting to read. Love your passion and joy! God bless you 🙏
Thank you for this teaching today connect everything together. You helped me think about how often do I not recognize God around me. Am I like simoon & Anna or a passerby? Wow! ❤
Such a good explanation. Thank you Father Doyle. We've got our candles ready to take to Mass this morning. Your animation adds interest to us listening. 👏👏💖
Good morning Fr. Doyle, love the visual and meditation of this day. No one in the hustle and bustle of the temple recognized Jesus our Savior. Wow! I will have to meditate on that. Thank you and have a blessed Sunday.

Father, can you please let us know if should make sign of cross after receiving Holy Eucharist? I’m so confused in this.
Yes you should
Yes, make the Sign of the Cross anytime you are in the presence of the Eucharist. It is like greeting a dear friend when you see him. 😊
Did the friend who we my to midnight Christmas Mass find the Holy Spirit and convert to Catholicism?
Amen
