It's like that awkward bit when you've nearly finished fitting a new bathroom, where the pipes go into the side of the bath panel and there's no easy way of neatening it up. In the end you hide it with a chrome pedal bin from Dunelm.

Nick you've been brilliant, bringing us these updates, I'll never forget those cold mornings when you would say "my hands are freezing ", or the times you was at Anfield at 5am in the morning. Another boss video Nick! I’m guessing that because the cladding right next to the corner seats needs sealing up that they probably won’t be available for Sunday. Especially those immediately next to it otherwise the fans might fall down the gap.
I’d love to see them replace those lower main seats replaced. I don’t know why they don’t renew them but have a couple of liver birds within the seats, like how Brighton has seagulls in theirs.

Thanks for the updates over the last couple of years Mr Drone. By far the best footage and commentary of all of the drone operators. As an ex pat scouser now living on the south coast (long story) you kept me fully up to date on the various stages of construction. Thanks again and good luck in your future ventures

Nick thanks very much for doing this. I discovered your videos from really early in the construction and have followed you ever since. I’ve not watched any of the others. I’ll miss these but it had to get finished at some time haha. I will continue to follow to see what else you cover.
I hope you can do at least a fortnightly update st the ground until all the work is done,signed off and done.
Still expect to see some works on both the outside of the stand( benches,signage, brickwork clean up, forever stones) and inside the ground, ( red boards removals, seat additions, roof cladding etc)
Personally I don't think the stand will be finalised until late July.

Hi nick great video I also believe there is some small cladding to be complete on the edge on both sides of the anfield stand pitch side of Main and SKD side.
Really enjoyed your updates Nick, especially during the summer when the Ground was closed for matches and couldn't see the work while there for a match. Thank you. Will still be watching your work on Bramley and other stuff. If anything seems to start on Wrexham will let you know.

Thanks for the video. It looks like a bit of cladding needs to be done on the top of the roof. Seems to be bits missing. Especially on the front of the corner near the main stand.

Just thought i would say how awesome the shots are of the Anfield Road Stand
At Liverpool football is culture plus indentity all ever
It won't be done until the finishing touches are all done - inc the roof which won't be done until the season finishes. They still have the roof 'Stadium' side that they haven't been able to do during the Season.
I'm sure they will do 'more' work around the outside (maybe the Tarmac areas), still some windows look like they need trim, still 'holes' in Brickwork etc that maybe couldn't be done 'between' matches so with the end of the season, can now actually get on.
The 'best' time to probably do a final Flyover and look at the Fully complete and 'ready' to go Anfield Road stand will be the day the first game of the 'new' season....

What price would you have got this time last year if you bet on the last seats going in for the last game of the season which would also be Klopp last match ever? Long odds I’d guess.
Hi Nick there's still a lot of work to be done on the corner section, we definitely won't have any away fans in that corner on Sunday. For your info mate, even with a small increase in capacity (152 seats in this case) we have to apply to the LCC for a new licence which involves an inspection of the seating area as well as the access and exit routes for those seats. The club will almost certainly wait until the red partitioning comes down and we can include the additional two rows of seating and the wheelchair bay in that new licence application which will be for next seasons capacity which will be 61,109 in total. By the way, next week the City Council are publishing their plans for a £4 million upgrade of the roads around the stadium perimeter👍
PS. If you're ever in St Helens you might be interested in some footage of our Women's Super League team's new stadium for next season, this will be our last season at Prenton Park.

I definitely remember seeing in early mock ups a sign above entrance to corporate area . It will be nice to see banners on the posts along the outside ,i think that will be done last?
I did wonder for months if they were going to fill that awkward space with seats.

Took em FOURTEEN years to spend this 80m quid. Afterhaving cancelled it at least once. And at the same time... they expect a 5 BILLION profit from an outlay of a fraction of the 330m purchase price. Something seriously wrong! Even today, a load of mickey mouse clubs have similar capacities or and/or higher spec stadia. They need to pull their fingers out and replace the Kop and KD that are very undersized and outdated.

This is Anfield the heated marvellous historical stadium in the world once only the greatest stadium
The steps in that corner need painting with the yellow stripes to Patch all the other steps and there is no way I can see that boarding above the main entrance remaining like that indefinitely, like others have suggested, they are probably either waiting for a sponsor to incorporate their name on any signage such as carlsberg etc or they are still in the process of putting that space up for bids, no way will it remain like it is now even if any plans show it like it currently is.

They definitely won’t be in use on Sunday, they have sold tickets for the Taylor Swift concerts in that block so the plan has been to have them ready for then
I've got a couple of mates going up to Anfield Sunday, he says he's won two tickets for a corporate box, where you were filming today, above the last seats fitted in the corner of the Anfield Road Stand. He's shown me pictures of the view, so there's a possibility the red boards might come down.
For the millionth time, there are NO corporate boxes in the Anfield Road stand, I don't know where you got that from...

That corner is an absolute mess, infact both corners at the Road end are a mess, also the camera position should of been moved, all looks shoddy. thanks for the update.
The seats aren't done yet look closer nearest the sheeting wall looks like gaps between the seats and sheeted wall....looks a right mess as do a lot of other things. Meanwhile the shankly gates have had no thought to them at all...shameful
