Totally agree Paul
@johnrimmer5955 thanks Paul & John 🙏
Apart from the awful accompanying music of course that really detracts from the experience.

This new stadium has to have the most spectacular location of all the venues in the Premier League. I like it, how the red brick architecture, lets it blend in to the historic dockyard setting. Seeing it take shape from above is inspiring. I am sure all the fans can't wait for regular games to start there in 2025, especially the Everton vs Liverpool derby!
I was in Liverpool just over a week ago caught a glimpse of the Bramley Dock Stadium when driving down that way must say it looks a beautiful stadium and I’m a RED
Once again fabulous filming ... love the way the barrel roof is extending. I will be back in the area for my 72nd birthday at the end of July to see relatives etc, stroll down memory land and have a brilliant memory of seeing the east Stand barrel roof complete!
From a red. It's looking boss. Keep up the good work Nick 👏 🙌 👍 ynwa
Greetings from a sunny Georgia, Great video again Nick, I see they have started to install the brick cladding on the south-west corner of the access stairway, I have also installed a large Everton flag in the village I stay at in the Caucus Mountains. I get a very good response from all the locals.
John the Missionary doing great work, eh!? 😉
Looks great - can't wait for first game there 😍
Is it open for start of next season mate ?
I met you yesterday with my son whilst you were operating the drone, excellent video once again and thank you so much for taking time out to help me get pictures with my son outside the new ground. Keep up the good work
No problem mate. Hope the pics were ok for you and your little one
Saw it from the ship sailing up the Mersey looked great on a beautiful day..was over for last match of the season
Brilliantly captured everything , love the water reflection on the glass.
Its Gorgeous Nick.
There's no doubt it will be one of the most iconic stadiums in the world, we just need to start winning trophies, easy eh.
I'm not an Evertonion but the stadium is looking amazing. My only concern is actually getting to it. 👍
Better links than Goodison park because it’s a 20 min walk from city centre. Park and ride nearby and new train station
Excellent again Nick👍 I went over last week for my first visit to see it and WOW👍
Deffo a what if! And irrelevant! Dan Meis, this stadium and the power to own it on Kings Dock!
I am purely talking about space and capacity!
We needed the stadium proposed on the Kings Dock, and that would have been a game-changer. However, I also get that it would have been something other than our stadium or asset as a club!
This whole project, it's a masterpiece! It's almost like it was worth the wait despite the pain. We're in for something special!
class video as always highly appreciate the weekly videos since the first week of development been here since the first video and will be here until the end and after that!
Wow,the phoenix has risen 👌
Thanks Nick, always enjoy your updates. It looks like the first roof rolls for the East Stand have been delivered. They appear at 1:20, just inside the North Vehicle Gates, on the left.
Dave: Yes, I'd agree. Great spot.
The stadium looked fantastic from Isle of Man ferry last week.
It’s looking really amazing , missed your videos 👍
You're legend, sir. Thank you
Great thank you
Looks great. Can’t wait to go. MCFC fan. Good luck Everton
Thank you.😀
Stadium looking great 💥 Thanks again for your efforts and commitment in covering the build progress so regularly mate. Big up from a true blue living in Jersey 🇯🇪 💙
The brick facade starting on the mezzanine at the south west corner
Yep, the brick cladding will also cover the gap at the top on both wing walls
Looking better by the week guys
Looks like the away supporters have some rail seating too.. Nice touch..
Looks like north east corner to me. The last to be fitted out
Magnificent! Have you done a similar one of Goodison Park for us all and for the history books before Goodison becomes a building site?
Thanks for all you do, Nick. Could you please do a video focussing on the channel at the west stand and how the builders will stop the water eroding the sand underneath our new stadium? I know it's going to be lined with water proof concrete, can you try and film this process. Thanks Nick
Great video
Great video Nick as always thanks for the hard work you put in its looking really great
Another great video. Nice to meet you again yesterday mate!
Good videos these 👍🏻
Hi Nick, quality video as always. Any chance of a walk down video from the Strand? Did it on Friday and only took about 20 mins, but is a nice route and interesting buildings along the way. Cheers
Great video. The stadium/ground looks amazing. Love the look that the hydraulic tower and the dock wall adds to the whole environment. And of course being on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey makes the whole thing fantastic. I cannot understand how Moshiri can walk away from this, he could have had an amazing legacy.
Probably as a ground Spurs stadium is better but overall with the fan plaza and the terracing looking over the river hands down we have the best Stadium and surroundings in the country.utfts.😊
The stadium is looking better and better with every video. Thanks for your time and effort Mr Drone. Best wishes, Graeme from Portsmouth. Play Up Pompey
Coming on now looking a architectural masterpiece and engineering beauty, only thing I don't like are the glass entrances on east and west stands bit bland and don't go with brick work , great drone footage thanks 👍
It will be stunning when finished the music is great to what is it called is it a film score cheers
good vid on channel thanks lee
Went pass it on the train yesterday it looks awesome great video nick as usual 😀
Hi Nick, thanks for all your content I look forward to each update. Will there be a map for our slab locations ?
Getting closer every day ...
Amazing video again Nick, so much going on. Any chance of a screenshot of the view overlooking the stadium from behind the North with the city in the background, would love that has my walkpaper on my laptop.
Visited the city from Glasgow in 2021 and went to both stadiums and was sad to see the difference so it’s good to see what your club are building.
Great video as always Nick. Its really coming on now, can't wait until the pitch starts to get laid and it all comes together.
Great Vid as always Nick! Just a thought - are you going to able to do a fly-around on match days? It'd be great to see what the ground looks like with fans en route to the stadium, in the stadium and on the fan-zone/plaza. Not sure if this would contravene any aviation ruling or club restrictions... 🤔
👍👍
On the west terrace why are there no steps on the highest terrace ,right hand side of the central underpass? The left has 3 sets going up same as everywhere else but right side only has 2 ?
The South East corner is getting another section currently, with trees put in Nick.
Will there be an internal flythrough or guide as to the hospitality sections. Same thing on kandicapped spaces
Stadium looking great, really coming together. They might want a bigger pitch though 😂
Hi Nick. Great videos as always. I see there installing more soak aways (at 3 minutes on your video). It's obviously there to capture any rain at high tide and then release it into the Mersey at low tide, to prevent flooding. It's going to be interesting how they are going to install the barrel cladding on the West Stand, as they've already installed the pathing. What are your thoughts mate?
The excavation at 3:00 you’re referring to is for the trees they’re about to plant. The plastic and soil they’ve installed will capture rain water to enable the trees to survive.
Just a thought Nick, what are you going to do with yourself on Sunday mornings after BMD is complete? It might be a great project for us to see how the Old Lady is replaced with the community projects?
I might have a lie in mate 😂
Hi nick excellent video
Any reason why there is gap in barrel cladding east stand
An expansion gap, apparently. Looking at the plans, there will two on the west side and two on the east side
Nick whats yer gear includes?
Do u recommend buying a drone?
Great video as always Nick, these are such great snippets of how good the stadium will be once fully completed.
Can I ask do you know how wide the canal will be on the west plaza also do you know how high the passageway under the steps on the west stand will be?
You can see how wide the water channel will be if you search ‘stadium db final Everton design’ and then scroll down to the high definition images (‘renderings’) from August 2020 👍🏻
The general area under the mezzanine will be about 4m between the granite flooring and the mezzanine support steels. I can't give you one answer to the width of the water channel as it's to be an irregular shape and the front/west edge of the Lower Promenade will not actually run N-to-S parallel with the old Dock Wall at the West Side. So, if you want an accurate-ish measurement at any particular position you'll have to offer one. As Dunc states, you can see where the outlines will be currently if you look for the Granite Coping Stones on the West Quayside.
Thanks Mr D 👍🏻 Next time, please can you zoom in on the empty row in the lower tier of the north stand (centre left at 11:38)? I know someone else made this request the other week, but you zoomed in on the wheelchair platform instead by mistake. In the final approved plans that row has seats so I don’t understand why it’s empty. Thanks very much 👍🏻
@@evertonian95 Away fans are in the north east corner. I’m referring to the north stand lower tier (centre left) where the home fans will be. Empty row - no idea why it doesn’t have seats.
Dunc: seconded. Nick, IF you read this, Dunc is trying to point out the following Terrace: "The North Stand Big TV screen is as wide as the 3 central Lower Tier seating sections at 11: 35 mins, and in the left/west-handed Lower Tier seating section of those 3 sections, the 15th row up from the pitchside is a blank terrace, to the left/west-side of one of the 2 main vomitories. That terrace is not empty in the designs, so Dunc would like a closer look for clues as to why it is so now".
Wow it’s incredible. What will the capacity be?
Another great video again nic. Still can’t get my head around the seats over the walk way at the bottom of the east stand just doesn’t look right to me anyone else feel the same. Going to be awesome to get in there…
I’m not keen either and they weren’t in the final approved plans, but looks like they’re permanent.
Can only be down to separation of crowd. So to many fans just aim for the lower exits, H/S issue. But I agree Kevin it just doesn’t look right and could cause a panic if stadium needs to be emptied in a rush.
Kevin: I second Dunc's comment.
On the west stand plaza step at each end looks like the black parts maybe windows
Not windows. They’ll be covered by the brick cladding they’re currently installing on the south wing wall 👍🏻
Dave: Dunc is correct but if you want to know more as to why they appear as windows just now and what that means afterwards when they have been covered by the brick- facades, then let me know.
Hi Nick, great video as always
It looks like rail seating will be fitted in the North corner for away fans and that is why seats have not been fitted in the lower corner.
Do you or anyone else know if some of the seats in the lower north stand are going to be exchanged and fitted with white seats, as the designs have 1878 showing across the lower section, while the south stand has a huge E.F.C covering both the lower and upper section.
The initial plans had 1878 and Everton in white seats but the final approved plans have all seats blue. There’s a chance white seats might be exchanged to incorporate a sponsor’s logo but no plans to at the moment 👍🏻
Cheers Dunc.
What’s the two grey patches on the barrel section of the east stand ,north part . Ta mate . 👍
I think you’re referring to the air vent exhausts
Ta lad .great quality work you do .UTFT 👍
Yes they are air vents
Great video as I remarked in my last comment. Just a thought. I wonder how many away fans will be thrown in the water over the years when there is a bit of trouble.
Away fans will be kept away from the water in the north east part of the ground
Will the water filled channel they are creating on the west side between the adjacent north and south basins be ornamental only or functional?
Only for aesthetics, won’t have boats passing through
@@DuncTheBlue1878 So ever time it will just become a stagnant, putrid breeding ground for waterborne insects, including possibly malaria carrying mosquitoes (given climate change), along with being a repository for scallys dumping shopping trolleys, bicycles and 'hot' firearms. 🤣
Graham: Both, but not as a navigable waterway. It's mainly for aesthetics but it will also allow some water to pass between it and the Docks through pipes under the isolation Bridges for two reasons:
1) The concourses' groundwater will collate and pass from under the site and the West Promenade and empty into the Water Channel and thence to the Docks
2) Any flotsam and jetsam on the surface of the water channel will migrate to the Docks
Great video and music. It saddens me when great clubs move ground all that history. I suppose the old ground will be turned into a housing estate. Wouldn’t it be great to keep a note of where the goals were. Imagine owning a property and you have on your land where the old goal posts were situated.
Check out plans online mate. Lots planned and not all flats.
They did right moving imo .. Liverpool should have done the same . Now stuck with 61,000 for good unfortunately . Playing catch up again
Quality video again Nick
Question about the barrel cladding on the north east side. There’s a gap where the two separate sections meet, do you think that will be filled or left??
ruins the look for me
I was down there yesterday and spotted that. It's very noticeable. We're gonna have to shine the Badcock symbol in the sky here for some reassurance.
David, over to you....😂
They won't be joined. The north roof and the east roof are separate (all four stand roofs are), including the cantilever steel that the barrel cladding is attached to. There's a gap between the side and end roofs as well, maybe it's to allow for some movement in high winds? I think there's going to be some kind of floating, 'attached to one side but not the other' kind of guttering (at least I hope so!) otherwise the people in the seats under there won't be happy in the rain!
Looks terrible, I hope it’s filled
@@DuncTheBlue1878 it's a new entry straight in at number 1 on my stadium-build annoyance list, replacing the single missing coping stone on the media compound.
For my 50th birthday, my eldest son Josh Ward paid for a tile with our names on it. Any ideas, just what area the tiles are going?. Thanks for the footage you have provided, much appreciated 👏
Nice present! They will be along the south stand concourse, closest to the water rather than under the overhang. You should get some better idea of where to find it sent to you from the club once the installation is complete, but I don't think they will start to install them until most of the west side of the stadium and the west quay next to the river is complete to avoid damage from heavy machinery.
Are they going to fit any solar panels on the roof ?
Yes, on the south stand roof
Correct me if am wrong guys but I think the brackets for holding the solar panels in place are already being installed.

What’s the two gaps at the front of south stand and a bit on north
For wheelchairs
Hi it's looking good nick do you know why it was Built that way round the west stand looks the most Impressive with the steps up to it but its round the back you won't see it unless you're going to the game
The West Steps are a design feature that serves several purposes.
1. A viewing platform for fans over the Mersey.
2. A place for fans to sit out before the games start (weather dependent).
3. Shelter for the rear of the stadium during stormy weather.
4. An escape route for Upper sections of the West Stand, in an emergency evacuation.
@@DarrenCowzer-cx7ot Will there be benching or just bare concrete to sit on?
@ollytheblue101 - safe standing can be terracing with safety rails in between, or it could be seats that can be used or kept up.
A number of clubs are in a safe seating trial, the UK government will decide if they will allow 3 x standing spots to 2 x Seats etc.
There is safe standing in Liverpool, Chelsea, Dortmund and many other clubs.
As far as I know, there are generally seats there but they're kept upright as everyone there stands.
@@ollytheblue101 Olly: Darren has given you a fairly comprehensive reply but i think his second reply may not be what you're asking? If I am guessing right, you're asking about the terracing on the Western Terrace areas.
The answer I think you want is that there WILL be SOME benching on the Mezzanine and the West Quay but largely it will be as you see. The Lower Promenade (the lower area now seen jutting out into the water channel, on the Seacant wall), is showing on the plans to have the terracing finished off with stone/tiling to sit directly on. On the terrace up to the mezzanine, there will not be any 'additional seating' installations as people can choose to sit or stand on each layer.
Whilst it is so that anyone entering the site will do so from the East, for now, most regular non-match day activity will be on the West Side with people using the Hospitality suites etc. There will be people regularly visiting the club shop in the East Stand and on some days there will be activities on the East Plaza but the bulk of regular activity will be on the West Side.
As an additional point, in the longer term, when Peel have carried out the development of the Liverpool waters site and the Mersey Walk is developed, all the way from the National Garden site to Bramley-Moore dock, people will access the site from the SW corner of the site, with the terminal at the Pump House/Hydraulic Tower, so it will be even more of a significant Viewing Platform.
Will you be able to park your boat at the stadium ?
Sadly not
No but they will have a helipad for you 😉
Anyone know if they're installing a spidercam?
There will be one installed temporarily for certain TV games
What's the mini pitch for?
Mini football?
Think it's just a little bit of fun to mark the centre spot. There was a lone flag stood there originally to mark the spot, and they've just upgraded it.
It's a replica of the Anfield pitch!
Still can't see the Archibald leach chris/cross on the brick work
Me neither. Dan Meis isn’t happy about that either.
It is most visible in the corners where there’s more brick panels next to each other. I wonder if they deliberately dialled it down? It’s on the walls, on benches and is going to be on the perimeter fence by the accumulator tower too plus probably used as internal design - there’s more here than at Goodison!
@@stevesanders6770 Steve: yes, the planners dialled it down before approval. One droner in particular, who flies very low and very slow, regularly reveals the pattern on the NNW corner, in the right light.
There appears to be a gap in the barrel cladding..will this be corrected?
Expansion gap
Looks terrible
Maybe expansion joint to be filled with silver/grey mastic.
@@billyboy6467 I hope so
@@billyboy6467 Billyboy: no, it will remain as an intentional small gap. You'll get used to it. Dan Meis wanted the engineering to be reflected in the overall appearance.
Linz
All the seats are blue. Anyone know if there will be white seats to make ‘EFC’ or ‘EVERTON’ etc ?
No, there won’t be any white seats…unless a sponsor wants to pay the club a fortune for their logo
@@DuncTheBlue1878 seems a strange decision. I think we’ve missed a trick there. With all the other events and international games to be played there it would help us raise our profile for little to no extra expense.
@@barryjones8322 Barry: I do get the point you make in terms of exposure. However, this stadium is unique and I doubt anyone could mistake it for anywhere else in the world, frankly.
@@davidbadcock2225 The only thing I can think of is that it wasn’t allowed in the early days planning with world heritage status? It’s unique and iconic but maybe I’m old fashioned and like the lettering. Saying all that I don’t think Spurs has any branding in their seats.
@@barryjones8322 Barry: the imagined videos were for visual effect at the early stages of the planning process but they were removed before the final stages of planning and the 'approval' in Sept 2020. Certainly the Heritage Status was a consideration in the process but overall they decided that "less was more".
Nick: I hope you had a good time away.
1) My goodness, Nick, you do have brain-fade at times. Seeing as how it's been referred to fairly frequently (and was included in your East Plaza explanation Studio Video back in March) and seeing as how the same structures have been used wherever trees are located in hard-standing, granite flooring on the East Plaza, I thought you'd be relied on to see that the hole dug and now filled with the ArborSystem grid, is for the 4 trees at the SE corner of the Stadium in a 2x2 matrix there. It will then be extended towards the South Stand Viewing Gallery for at least 3 more trees in a single line.
2) It's good to see at 1:25 mins that they have started on the plant and tree border just to the West of the Pump House which will act as a backdrop to the Stage Area.
3) It looks as though they have now got the remainder of the 13 Columnar Elms' pits sorted along the North perimeter.
4) There are many comments on here abut the intentional Expansion Gap in the barrel-cladding. If you'd like an explanation, then please let me know.
5) You'll find that LoR have laid rebars in the trench at the side of the Seacant Wall of the Western Promenade.
Why are all four sides still referred to as stands, when it's all seated?
I think the open areas on the north and south stands, exposing the back of the upper terracing look terrible and will give the stadium an unfinished look, as if the architect just didn't know what to do at that point.
Yeah I have to admit it's my only little gripe with the overall design. It just doesn't quite work for me, that part of it. Maybe it won't be as big of a thing when the rest is finished but bit does look a little incomplete and at odds with the sleek design of the rest of the build. Seems a waste of space too, particularly with the South stand when there could have been some great views of the city centre from bars or whatever under the bowl.
@@colingillbanks4022 I think the structural pillars limit the practical use of the space, but perhaps the exterior could be clad in solar PV panels to at least generate some electricity. The installed upper clear glass acts to protect from wind and rain and allows natural light into the stadium. On the south side anyway.
@grahamcook9289 Yeah I suspect you're right. I would think that those pillars extend below into what seems to be the glazed hospitality area in the South stand as well though, so it must be an issue there too. It is what it is I suppose, and I think we'll be fine with it once it's all completed. There's more than enough good stuff about the stadium to not get too caught up in minor negatives like those two ends. The smaller North Stand is my major disappointment but that's obviously due to a lack of space and they've probably made the best out of the limitations.
Graham: Dan Meis actually wanted the engineering of the stadium to be seen and appreciated and NOT hidden away, in much the same way that in a Cathedral you can see what holds everything up. It's an intentional point of difference to other stadia.
@@colingillbanks4022 Colin: the view is precisely why a cantilevered Viewing Gallery and Hospitality Suite is provided in the South Stand. Being another 10-20 ft up isn't actually going to change the perspective of the view to the city centre or Mersey significantly at all (the maths dictate that).
That music is way too strident, especially for a Sunday morning. Something a bit more mellow please.
