Not in the least concerned. I don't fear,imaginary scenarios after death.. nobody knows what happens after we die but it's something worth looking forward to without angst.

You have faith in something that cannot be proven. My mother in law, a wondeful woman of God died on sunday. For her dieing was gain! I praise God that I know what she believed and have certainty that I will see her in heaven. Please pray for my brother inlaws and their families, some of them do not know Jesus. They know what she and I believe, please pray that they will think on her hope after death and it will draw them to the true Gosple! That was her dearest wish at he end. Her one regret in leaving this world was knowing that some of her children and grandchildren are not saved. She fought hard agains cancer, I pray that I show my kids how to morn with hope. I have been reminding them about what the Bible says

Yes the Bible was written by holy men of God and yes it’s been translated numerous times as our language has changed. However, the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls demonstrated how God has preserved His Word over the millennia. People who think that men can out maneuver God have a small view of who God is. I know that the God who created all things, visible and invisible, is more than capable of protecting His Word throughout all generations. Jesus said…”until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!”

The funeral director that did my dad's funeral sold us a very nice casket at is cost which was $375! He showed me the retail price list and it was $7000 retail! Big markup on caskets!

*Death* is an unavoidable absolute truth for all except for one man that conqured it. There is no lie that you know what happens after death. We all know it is a fundamental, unavoidable, unshakable truth. For that reason we try to bury it under a copius amount of terms to lessen the lethality. However this truth will continue just as Jesus is our Lord and Savior. Through him we are save from eternal damnation and only through him do we have everlasting life.
It's not $25,000, unless you let the furneral director rip you off. Show them you're considering buying from Costco or Walmart and they will suddenly whip out their "additional" price list with much more affordable prices (still really nice caskets) that they never mentioned until then.

Being Catholic doesn't stand for much these days, does it? Some RC cheerleaders would undoubtedly say that these two simply aren't well catechized, but in the aggregate I come across scarcely few RCs who would qualify as "well catechized." Beliefs of RCs are all over the map, and having a pope & magisterium to allegedly keep all Catholics unified in their beliefs simply hasn't worked.

Hi! I respect what you are doing to turn the hearts of people to Jesus who is the ONLY ONE that can give us ETERNAL LIFE. The only comment I would like to add for Pastors or those who are spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Savior, when you FINALLY accept to Follow Christ Jesus, it's not only Believing and Accepting that Jesus died for ALL our Sins, and He was Resurrected on the 3rd day as He had Promised but we also have to TURN from the Worldly Things and COMMIT in doing what Jesus wants us to do as FOLLOWERS and that's to obey His Teachings to be able to have Everlasting Life in the Kingdom of God. It seems to me, that is left out a lot and just believing is not enough to get in the Kingdom of God.

To become a "part of the earth" after death is certainly not hope for the future. That sounds like despair. If I was studying to be a mortician and dressing up dead bodies that would certainly make me think about the afterlife. Jesus is Lord.

English has many words we say on a daily basis, that put spells on us. For example:
Awake- to get up from sleep, or
A wake- a funeral party,
Morning- sunrise and new day, or
Mourning- a state a person is in when a loved one has died,
Earn- as in "earn" money, or
Urn- a container used for a deceased person's ashes,
Undertaking- as in proceeding doing a task, or the person in charge of funerals

So I would encourage you to get involved in ministry and find out your gift! Don't be like the servant that digs their talent in the ground in Luke 19:14-30.

So many people identifies them with a particular thing but really know anything about what he or she is identifying with. A person can identify as a Christian without knowing truly the massage of Christ and same way a Catholic who is also a Christian can also won't know that is about Christ salvation and eternal thru our faith and repentance.

Can a person who had self harm in the past like over 100 cuts in body, marry? Is their mareiage already lose? The person dont smoke or drink etc...
that's past sin If the person has gotten beyond that in their walk with Christ. The 2 (marriage & past self harm) dont apply to eachother at all. We've all been saved from our sin who accept Christ and live for Him, and in our own ways we've all harmed ourselves...sinning against a Holy God is exactly that. My main "self harm" was substances, which obviously have repercussions eventually even if its an imbalance neurologically. That person you mention just has outward scars as opposed to inward physically, but EOD the important part is inward. I come from a family where what you said was unfortunately common for my sisters, to the point where as their older brother, if one wasnt at the hospital many times id sleep on the floor at the foot of their beds to make sure they were safe as much as i could. Scars can remind us of who we once were, but we're a new creation in Christ, body marks or not. I have many tattoos (even my hands) from before I was saved (that I regret) and in its own right its scarification, yet im married n they dont contradict eachother at all

This dude I’m afraid is going to pay the ultimate sacrifice and he thinks it’s a joke. The first thing he is going to think of the day that he is standing before Jesus Christ is the day date Brother Ray shared the plan for Salvation to him.
This life is a blip in time compared to the next. You better be sure of the evidence I am. The creator of the cosmos can certainly write a book or inspire its message. Its a very simple minded argument.

They are taught a different gospel and a different Jesus. Most that I've encountered are full of pride and will tell you all day long that they are the one true church. They are an apostate body and not a church and God is not happy with their veneration of Mary and other dead people.

If you believe in your heart and call on the name of Jesus, you are already in the basket.

Death is _not_ a friend but an enemy, and the last enemy that God will destroy someday. New Heaven, New Earth, and new resurrection bodies. Best part of all? Jesus everywhere, all the time, physically living _with_ us for all eternity, not apart from us. We will enjoy his, and each other's company forever. Good times are coming, dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Not here, but in the hereafter. Let's continue to please our Lord and live godly for him (2 Corinthians 5:10).

I am not being paid to say this, but another book I highly recommend is "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. If you're a Christian and you're not excited about going to Heaven when you die, then you've got to read this book. It has absolutely fueled my fire for Heaven, and my longing to be with Jesus.

He took God's wrath on the cross, taking the punishment due for His people’s sins against a holy God. Then Jesus rose from the dead. Cry out to God for mercy, repent and put your trust in Jesus (rather than "good works") for salvation.

If you're in court and you have speeding fines, a judge will legally let you go if someone paid your fine. God can legally take the death sentence off you! Because of what Jesus did on the cross!
