back in 72 this was the first press l learned printing on. freshman in high school. only the jrs and seniors would use the Multi's and Chiefs. great way to learn the craft
I just found your channel a day ago and watching loads of your vids and talks. Very good vids for sound effects relaxation. Like listening to old steam engines running. You win best ASMR vids award! Lol I took print shop in H. School but i never got to use an old press like that one, i dont think we even had one of those by the 80s. They were all electric. I made linograph stamps just for my own art work and was always fascinated by woodcut block printing and copperplate etched printing but i always had intention of getting into it more but i never had spare time. Thanks for sharing all your work so its not lost in time and people can see how things used to be done.
YES!! More LONNNNG videos like this and LONGER please. Love listening to Howard talk with the humming of the old press in the background!!
I agree with Max The longer videos are great! I enjoy watching historic machinery and soaking in history of the time.
I can play this on a loop and fall asleep. It's relaxing to listen to 😴
Yeah lol they should put this sound on Alexa to sleep too lol

@@fernandovalencia3542 First of all it was paddle pressing like old swing machines, I was explained that time, Thanks.
How long does it take that ink to dry on a brown paper bag?
Edited to add: This looks like a leg workout! Also, the counter thing is so cool!
Hard job is CLEANING it!
How much is this kind of printing for e.g. 1.000 bags?
I wish I had a nickel for every paper bag I've printed on a
C & P handfed. All in pink ink for a fancy ladies store.
Ajoyib ish o'z vaqtida juda qadirlang bo'lsa kerak?
What does that do to the bags? & I feel like that machine needs a train whistle on it lol
