I have seen some great interpretations. It is about his obession to overwork and not sleep, just like Red Lights, also why you have a lot of red. But he is Werewolf Chan to start and he goes around turning people into himself, overworked Zombies....So enter 2nd good Chan with the white eye on the other side. He comes in to stop obessed Chan. He kills him and then goes to leave, but grabs his jacket. Thus starting the cycle over again. Where he wakes up starving....and goes through it all over again. That is why it starts the same way it ends, with Chan being blown backwards. Chris has always said one thing he doesn't like is how obsessed he is and how he doesn't sleep but he can't stop. Tunnel vision, when he gets into producing he gets tunnel vision...this train never sleeps....wow....I thought this song was going one way but it went off another way. He also said he wasn't going to explain it and people can pull whatever they want out of it. 😊 He made it so others could see themselves and how they obsessed and getting into cycles. For him it is his music, overworking and not sleeping...for others it may be something else. They are trapped in that yard...with illusions of being free because there is sun, but there is barbed wire and even though they are outside, they are not free. His baby in this is his music, the train never sleeps as he is trying to finish the songs but it is going to take a lot, so hold on tight and trust him. But doesn't he care about the casualties? Other people will suffer with being overworked but he can't help it because something is saying more please....the song isn't perfect. Railway, from one destination to another. From one song to another. At first I didn't think this mv or song fit together...but it actually does. The evil dead always returning to the one who committed it....he believes he hurts those around him with his obsession, so in the end he is cursed to starts the vicious cycle again. Him being hurt with overworked obessession all because he put that on others, it comes back to him..He always puts such deep things in his songs. I do like that it took a different turn than I thought.
He's a vampire. I dont know why people still think he's a werewolf when Chan confirmed he's a vampire awhile ago, lol. It's Dracula inspired. Love Railway
