It's mostly a pointless preface, but hopefully it puts things into perspective in the one in a million chance you're reading this; like thousands of others I'm sure, I wanna' express my gratitude. My Mum passed away a few years ago now, and I didn't do right by her. She deserved infinitely better from me, and it's only after the fact I realized just how much she did for us and meant to me. Since then both my Grandparents from my Dad's side and my Grandma from my Mum's side have also passed. We were a very, very close knit family up until my parents split around a decade ago, since then things have been a bit strenuous. I struggled to stay close to everyone 'cause the family unit was very important to me, I just didn't understand or wasn't able to put it into words back then. And as much as I miss them, I feel like they're in a queue for grieving - I just can't even get 0.0000001% over my Mum's death, life just doesn't seem worth it without her. Even just knowing she was in it and happy was enough. With that preface out the way, like so many others who go through rough times, music's our escape. Things piece together in our minds and feelings make sense to us through music. Music was the only way I really got through everything as a kid, and even now as an adult. I hadn't really listened to English music in a decade, just couldn't get on with it. Maybe I just listened to the wrong artists or whatever. Then last October I came across one of your songs for the first time - Right here, and I never had a song that just felt perfectly in line with the vibe I wanted. Since then I've been listening to all your songs and following all your music 'cause I finally found the artist who's songs, voice, style and vibe are, like, exactly what I wanted to listen to. I listen to your songs whatever mood I'm in - if I'm feeling real good or if I'm laying on the floor wallowing in pity, they just hit right every time. They've got me through alot of dark days already even though I've only been listening to you for a year, but you'll never know just how thankful I am to have found you as an artist. I'm sure these kind've things are said to artists all the time and it must be quite burdensome to hear/read these types of messages, but I really hope it's meaningful feedback - as silly as it sounds as I don't know you as a person at all, I genuinely hope you get absolutely everything you want out of life Keshi and that you have the pefect adventure of ups and downs. Not just your music but your messages to people such as the Limbo and Angel shorts are so powerful to people, it's a message they feel they need to hear and it opens them up to feel like their thought process is okay, they're not weird or an outsider for feeling that way. You seem like an absolute gem to the population, both professionally and personally. I was gutted 'cause I found out you came to England(London) 2 weeks after you had the concert, so if there is a next time you tour here I'll be sure to drop everything to show my support alongside the million others who you've likely had just as much an impact on. This will be my first real concert ever. I'm so excited and blessed to have the opportunity to go to this! I found Keshi from falling down the rabbit hole from a danielions playlist. His music soothes my heart and I can never get tired of it. Truly my favorite artist of all time. It will also be wonderful to meet fellow fans!
i remember finding keshi through a small community discord server and there was a song recommendation channel and i took a quick peek saw skeletons and fell in love with his vocals though his earlier EP the reaper was kinda meh for me at first but then funny haha relationship ended relistened to the EP cause i ran out of songs to listen to and just immediate “he’s just like me frfr” been a fan ever since and god has it been a ride to see this man grow sure concerts are more expensive to go to and it’s way more people and hard to get noticed but man he fucking deserves this and more i hope he knows how much we all as a community love and support him and i wish for the best
