Oh man you were talking my kind of talk. Thank you for making sense. I was looking at the Zig Zag but the diversity of the Cosmic Stallion is over riding my focus. When your wife and your life determines you can only have one bike then diversity is key. Do it once and do it right.
I am mostly looking for a bike to ride in the winter when all the trails are closed because they are too wet to ride. I have access to a lot of great gravel rodes around me and I probably will do some casual racing. But I didn’t realize that it isn’t a one by. I just love the frame color of the grx build.
Hey Stephen - just curious - how does this ride in city traffic? I'm a new yorker looking for something I can weave through traffic with yet still take on gravely rides. I'm almost sold but feel like I need a push. I'm currently looking at the 2022 version with GRX.
I love this bike for city riding. It's a bit more relaxed compred to a typical road / track bike geometry but if you throw some 28 or 30c tires on it you'll love it!
@@aktechstack I figured. Admittedly may've goofed and jumped on a 55cm because I usually ride a 55cm with traditional geometry. Trying to make it work. I clear the top tube standing over and it feels like I'm not terribly stretched out at 5'9", but the (could be the crank length is too long, and could be denial) my kneecaps are slightly behind the pedal axle when I have the cranks parallel to the floor.
I'm about your size and got the 52. Seems to fit ok so far. Might've even go to 49, but that's pushing it. Could be too agressive position.@@thecuriousquest
Good review. Nice bike! I love All City bikes.

Have you tried it on single track?
I just ordered a purple fade Cosmic Stallion frameset on ebay from a seller in Roanoke. I wonder if it's this one.
It is indeed! You have my bike now!
@@aktechstack haha this is so cool
Would you recommend this for someone who races mountain bikes and wants to do a little a little gravel racing in the winter?
yes it's an excellent race bike!
Is the grx build a good race bike too?
@@whitm8823 depends on what you're racing. 1x is better for CX

@@whitm8823 in my opinion 2x is a better platform for riding with hills. 1x make good race bikes. More so rider preference though.

@@downshift-handcraftedbikes7742 wow that was a fast reply man thanks. You think it will fit me if i put 700x35c tires? I'm 5'7" 29" inseam
@@gheyvhenanuran5433 It might be a hair too big, but probably rideable. You would fit better on the 49cm
@@downshift-handcraftedbikes7742 thanks man appreciate the help!
What frame size would you recommend for 5’11?
What size do your recommend for an All City frame for someone who's 5'9"?
get the 52
