- This video is demonstrating the factory sounds of one of Korg's first analog / polyphonic synthesizer. The instrument is digitally programmable while the sound generation is fully analog. For me it is an endless time-travel.

Really great presentation! Watching this video the day after i received my P800 and just realized my unit has entirely different patches! Kinda funny, it was used by an 80s industrial band and all their sounds are still on there lol.
Mine has the same noisy "whooshing" chorus. I love this synth's grungey charm.
Lo fi, warm, fuzzy tones are coming out of this machine. Nice.
The synth is not analogic, at least the voices are not. It’s build around a tone generator chip, that can produce 8 simultaneous tones. The chorus and filter are analogic, fortunately, so it sounds good 👌🏻
the tone generator chip is just as much a part of the unique character. its the combination that has such character, not one thing or the other. all together.

Have a question about your Focusrite. I have the same unit. Is it possible to contact that too a larger mixer? I see monitors out, but my monitors are input into my analog ,Allen and heath mix wizard!
Never tried, but should work.
Greetings to all, someone who can help me with my korg poly 800, connect a charger, I think it has a lot of voltage and it turned off and does not turn on anymore, what happened? could it be the protective diode at the input? Would the internal card be burned because of that? any trick remedy or solution here?

Szia! Nem tudnád megmondani, hogy a Fury-800 VSTI mennyire pontosan van lemodellezve az eredetihez képest? Imádom ezt a hangszert, bár nem vagyok egy nagy billentyűs, sőt... Viszont élek-halok ezért a 80-as évekbeli synthwave hangzásért!!!!

Can understand that ppl arent all over this synth. But to me it has loads of charachter very different from any vsti. I use my mk2 all the time.
You're right. I have a roland D-50 and had the change to test teh d05 module that should be the same. but everything is so mucht reverbonthis machine; the D-50 has much more power in in like this korg Poly 800 has
@@pascalvanelstlande6954 I have the d-05 module and no problem for me. maybe you didn't pass the module through a pre-amp? the output in the d-05 module is very low. I get some cool sounds with it, quite powerful, like in this video I did with mine. ua-cam.com/video/qjmXG-Mahgs/v-deo.html
I prefer the Mk1 over the mk2, sounds much better with that chorus.

It's not a concert for your benefit, @Me, it's a demonstration of presets. Musicality aside, the level of playing allows for the timbres to come through, which is the essential usefulness of the presentation. And the complaint is unnecessarily unkind, however true it may be.
