@@SURCs yes, you can. I have 3 transmitters and 10 receivers. You just push the button on the receiver and it flashes, then turn on the transmitter. 👍🏻
I actually have a Spektrum 5-channel receiver with avc/gyro (came with the DX5 controller) waiting for when I get my 104009 in the mail from Makerfire. I thought it would be a good idea, especially when I take it to brushless. I'm going to use a 540, just not sure what kv yet. Probably around 4500 if I stay with 2s or 3300 or so for 3s. I had actually thought about leaving it brushed for a while and trying a HH Torquemaster 550 just to see how strong it is. I do have a brand new HH Crawlmaster Magnum 11t motor (175$ U.S.) that I would be willing to trade to a good HW or Spektrum brushless system. Honestly, I have more brushed motors and esc's than I have vehicles to put them in.

That magnum 11t maybe worth throwing in before the change to see what it can do. If I could afford such a motor I would try at least! Good luck and can't wait to hear how you get on! 😊👍
@@JohnRobinsonRC yea, I think the Magnum is spec't at 27000 rpm at 12v so it would be fun just to try it out. It'll probably be a week or two before it comes in the mail (in the U.S.).

I Have no money. 🤭🤭🤭 But if I had the cash then I would for sure like to review some of the larger brands to see how much better they are. Any suggestions? P. S. The limitless looks bonkers cool! 😉

Yes I do not know how it didn't rip off that left hand wheel! It hit HARD! had it out again today as I was using it as a camera car and it must have flipped and rolled 10 times, still without damaging anything. Amazing car! 😉😉😊😊😊👍
I know I have rcs that cost a lot more than that wl toys and I dought they would of survived some of thows crashes especially with metal arms .it one tough little truck .how do u find the battery tray is working out I am not sure about bottom load battery trays on a basher
Hiya and thanks. Unless you have upgraded it a lot to over 100 kph or really fast acceleration, then I would say you don't really need it. Some of the fun of the 124017 is fighting to control it. However if it's happening all the time then of course it would not hurt. 😊

I've put DumboRC gyro receivers in all of my fast cars. Definitely helps keep it in a straight line. 👍🏻

Haven't had one problem with it. Hasn't opened accidently once. The clips are quite strong and hold it closed very well.
