    I have had several Mieles and always liked them very much🌼 My old one started to have suction problems, so I bought this new one, and it is the best I have ever had. Suction power is great and it is easy to manoeuver, like most Mieles. Will probably buy another one for our summer home.

    Bless people like yourself taking the time to make these videos. My 10+ year old hoover needs replacing and I was resistant to the hype about Dysons. After looking at the specs and reviews I'm going with the C3. I like the idea of a bagless but seems like the C3 is better loved and quieter than the new bagless C1. Cheers!

    I just bought one after watching your review and reading many favourable comments. The strongest suction , so glad there are milder settings. Makes a pleasant jet turbine sound when going. Made In Germany, haven't tried the turbo head yet, but im sure will not disappoint. 8/10. Highly recommended.

I have tendonitis from dragging a weighty dyson animal around so I orderd one of these and it's arriving today, I'm realy looking forward to putting it to use now. Great video, your old Miele won’t be 15 years old, maybe about ten due to being a 5000 series model. It uses the same bag as your newer C3. The charcoal filter should be changed yearly which is good to see you replace yours. Good to see you use genuine GN bags, best to stick to genuine Miele bags they really work best!!

    i have a 20 year old Miele cat and dog. Sensational vacuum, and has done everything - unlike Dyson's which last about 3 years. BUT - I have a Border Collie, you have to disassemble the brush head after 5 minutes and cut the hair out with scissors - I haven't used it for years.
    So you use the normal head with bristles down. Manually clear that then deep clean with bristles up, then use the powerhead!
    Not good for long-haired pets, but at least it lasts - unlike a Dyson. I also use a cyclonic attachment on the stick/shaft so a beg lasts more than 1 week.

    Been thinking about a Miele Vacuum cleaner for a while, as sick of our current Dyson DC39 - we have a large dog who sheds plenty, I've found you have to stick your hand into the container to pull out the hair when emptying it (at least twice, every time we vacuum the house)😬😬.
    When we saw the C3 on sale for £219, we just had to go for it🤣. Having recently invested in a Miele TwinDos washing machine, we know how good a brand Miele is & whilst it may be expensive, it's definitely worth every penny!

    There should never be any dust accumulating around the interior of the bag compartment. That indicates that either the bag was installed improperly or that the bag gasket is not sealing. Wipe out the interior and if dust reappears take it to a specialist. There is a problem.

      I am seriously considering buying one. I have been reading tons of reviews on Amazon. Most are positive, but some buyers have had negative experiences, and quite a few of them say Miele does not honour the warranty if purchased on Amazon, which seems really bizarre since they have a "shop" on Amazon. Know you anything about that?
      These are very expensive vacuums for the average budget, but at my age, I figure one of them should last me for the rest of my life. Of course, I said the same thing about the last high end mattress set I purchased, and the mattress was failing by the end of the first year!@@thehonestchannel

    I think I'll be buying this tomorrow- I recently bought a shark and I hate it, it can't stand up on its own and bagless are just so messy imo. Plus it's just cumbersome and a pita to use.
    I have a Miele that would be _at least_ 15 years old and it's still going, although 3 of the wheels have come off and I broke the clip that holds the hose in so it's a little worse for wear haha

      I'm going to sell my shark on gumtree and hopefully get a hundred or so for it, so that will take the sting out of the cost of the Miele too.

    Ah I just replaced my 17year old cat and dog,first impressions are cut backs at miele.Thinner more flexible plastic.Only one turbo head instead of two turbo heads and one floor head.No on and off switch when hoover is parked again this was standard.The floor head doesn't fit as firmly into the telescopic wand as my previous model.May be down to the fact its plastic fitting into plastic not stainless steel fitting into a plastic floorhead.All in all its not an improvement on the original cat and dog its a cost cutting version which I assume miele would never admit to.

    Does lomg hair tangle around the roller in the motorised head? That always seems to be a big issue of any machine with motorised rollers in the head. Some vacuum designers incorporate anti tangle technology or self cleaning brush rollers. Does the c3 have this issue?

      @@thehonestchannel @Ann Bao Yes. I've been using a Miele for 27 years and have had long haired cars the entire time and human hairs do get stuck in the vacuum head. Sometimes hairs get so tightly tangled they stop the vacuum head from spinning. (I just got a new Cat and Dog unit to replace my old one. )Eventually, I decided I didn't have the patience to constantly be untangling the vacuum head and just used the regular non spinning attachments, which worked fine because of the enormous suction the vacuum has.

  • @thedrumdoctor
    @thedrumdoctor 4 роки тому

    I'm about to buy a new vacuum cleaner, hovering between a Shark cordless and a Miele like yours. I absolutely LOATHE the power cables on uprights, they all drive me nuts and try my patience to the limit. By the nature of their design, is a Cylinder vaccum cleaner with a cable like the Miele better to use than an upright with a cable? I'm 100% NOT going back to a corded upright!

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  4 роки тому

      thedrumdoctor it’s been a long time since I used an upright vacuum so I can only tell you that the Miele is very easy to use and move around and does a great job in terms of suction and the ability to lift pet hairs etc.

    • @thedrumdoctor
      @thedrumdoctor 4 роки тому +1

      The Honest Channel The thing with a forced upright is, one hand is always occupied with trying to control the lead and position it out of the way. The tangles are another issue....so a cordless does seem very attractive. We had a G-Tech K9 for a bit, but the wheels kept breaking due to poor design. It went back, but the upright cordless experience was a revolution so I was quite disappointed it was weak in a crucial part of its design. If a cylinder vacuum has less chance of cord issues I’ll go Miele or SEBO.
