Such a great job at breaking down the benefits and drawbacks! We are still on the hunt for that "perfect product" but great job helping outline those for everyone. You even got in a bunch of the little nuanced tricks for people... let the air out before coiling up, start coiling at the manifold, open flow vs closed flow, valve stem air flow limitations, etc. This may have become our new favorite video... don't think we could have done this good ourselves as an all inclusive product info video :)
Thanks guys! Really appreciate the feedback here.
It really has been a great product to test over the last few months and although I was genuinely a little sceptical, I am converted. It is extremely easy to use and provides benefits that far outweigh any considerations.
Awesome work creating a product that can successfully complete with other similar products out there on the market at a very competitive price too.
Looking forward to seeing what MorrFlate comes up with moving forward.
Cheers, Nathan.
I just purchased & received...

... can't wait to use it out on my next adventure.
I have bad knees. This would be a God sent.
Sure would mate, no more spending 10 min crawling around your tyres when airing back up 👍
As I have said before, best reviewer of goods I have seen on UA-cam. Thank you.
Thanks mate, appreciate that. Great to hear this kind of feedback 🙏
I have the maxtrax equivalent. I feel that it takes a bit longer for tyres to equalise pressure.
As not all hose lengths are the same, the tyres connected with the longest hose will inflate slower that the tyres with the shorter hose.
Also, if the Schroder valve is not depressed that same amount on all tyres, they will inflate/deflate at different rates.
Either way, leaving it all connected for a few minutes after the gauge time indicates the desired pressure will let tyres equalise.
One of my gripes with this system is the difficulty in keeping all fittings clean of dirt and debris when setting up/packing up.
The other con is the set up and pack up time as you have to wind hoses.
A pro that wasn’t mentioned is that you can inflate a tyre with your spare tyre. If you pump your spare to 100psi you can connect your spare to a tyre and use excess pressure to inflate another tyre.
Hopefully you realise just how helpful this video is to some people. I've got the arb inflation and deflation systems and the deflation is good, but the inflation.. man.. for the longest time that's been doing my head in. I've found that because it doesn't clip onto the tyre fully (unlike the morrflate), the weight of the hose hanging actually ruins the connection and air leaks out faster than the compressor can pump the tyre up, so I'm having to bend down and hold it just for it to do its job.
If the mounting system on the morrflate will eliminate this problem, I think it's worth every cent.
Thanks for putting this on my radar
Why not just buy the chucks on the morphlate and retro fit them to ur already used system?
Yeah mate, these 3 toothed air chucks really grab on. They are much better than the standard chucks and definitely don't let air out 👍
Cheers for the reply fellas. I've done some research and I only just learnt that arb sell a quick connect fitting for their hoses. I think that might worth trying before I give up entirely aha
I can't find the part for sale individually though, so it looks like I need to buy the whole hose kit in order to get the parts I need 🙃
Excellent review!
I love your reviews mate, best in the business. So much detail
Thanks mate, appreciate that 👍
Another great honest review. Well documented as always. Thanks Nathan.
Thanks mate, appreciate it 👍
Such a comprehensive review and honest. Very informative as always Nathan. Thank you.
Always a pleasure 🙏
Great review Nathan! Well done.
Thanks mate 👍
Fantastic overview, so clear & so concise! What a boss! 👏🏼
Cheers mate, appreciate it 👍
Great review 👌
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Nice clip mate, a true competitor to the indeflate. Cheers Steve
Cheers Steve, although I haven't tested the indeflate, it would appear that is has a couple of advantages 👍
Awesome piece of gear
For sure. It's still holding up well after many, many uses 💪
Very good review Nathan.
Thanks mate, appreciate it 👍
Great Review Nathan. I have been using the same set up for about two years now and I rate it highly. I mainly bought it because we tow a tandem axle off-road caravan and our travels see us regularly/frequently airing down and up again and doing 8 tyres one at a time gets old quick. I do not use it for airing down, however as I find it quicker and easier to screw my DFL8's onto all four caravan tyres and then use my ARB deflator on the cruiser, The DFL8's have been so impressive that I am considering getting another 4 for the car. It'll be a bit slower, but easier and they have proven to be accurate and reliable. Airing up with the Moorflat is where it comes into its own IMO, and the quality is top notch. Mine has had a lot of use and its great. I do need to use an extension ot do the van Tyres but thsi still fits in the bag. I also have one valve on my van that for some reason is really difficult to get a seal on with the chuck. All in-all I really rate this product highly.
Awesome mate, great to hear positive long term reviews and can't wait to keep using it!
I agree with you there. Also towing an extra 4 wheels, inflating and deflating sure gets old one by one! I have also used this, with an extension to do the van and confirms that they are all equalised!
Awesome review!! Thank you for going to the trouble of timing both systems. Definitely shows the differences between the two.
Cheers man 👍 Christmas B'day present from the family?? 😉
Always a good job mate!
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Brilliant review once again Nathan. Comprehensive, direct and concise. If I didn't already have the ARB gear I'd certainly buy one. With 4 car tyres and 4 van tyres, this this would be a great bit of gear.
Thanks mate. I hear you there. No point in moving on perfectly good equipment, but now at least you know what's out there is you do need to replace or upgrade down the track 👍
Well done Nathan. Very informative. As good as it seems to be, I don't think there is enough value for me to change over from the ARB kit. Thanks again for a great job.
Thanks Jim, for sure. It probably doesn't suit those running gear that already works, but maybe something to replace when that gear gets old 👍
So its a copy of the maxtrax ideflate? However i do like the valve locks on the morrflate compared to my maxtrax valve lock. Lets face it the only reason the deflate took longer is due to packup. i bet its quicker from start to finish of psi? Thanks for the review and one thing you didnt mention was no crouching with the morrflate big bonus at my age lol.
It's similar, but probably a little more up to date. It's got the digital gauge with better accuracy, better valve chucks and most importantly, uses a high flow inflator connection. The in deflate uses a traditional stem valve and as I mentioned, this restricts flow to 2-3CFM, again, limiting the efficiency of the air compressor... and did I mentioned the MorrFlate was cheaper? 😆
Yes, you are right though, the pack up of all those hoses took some time, but It's all included in the testing 👍
The fact we don't have to spend 10 min down by the tyres is always a great advantage.
Thanks again Nathan, it appears to be a top product.
I was watching taking in the whole concept of equal tyre pressures not being suitable for me , as like you my rear are always inflated higher on or off road.
Then you demonstrated exactly what I needed to know, drop front hoses off, should have worked that out earlier as you demonstrated early on the connection stems could be sealed off, duh.
Keep on trucking & looking for my spooky 😱 lights. 😅😂
Thanks mate, yeah after 3 months they have held up very well and I have been very impressed.
The fact they do back to front differences is a bonus!
PS... still looking 👀
@@XploringOz don't be looking to hard, as when they arrive you'll need these mate 😎, hahaha
@@ianweal3081 😆
I love mine.
Morrflate is here to stay
Great to hear. It is a good product and I'm still happy with its performance 👍
Great review thanks.
Cheers mate, appreciate that 👍
@@XploringOz I might have to upgrade to the twin pump to make that kit worth while.
@@matthewfinnigan3862 You would definitely notice a difference!
Great video, I’ve got the old indeflate, love it, but mine only does 2 tyres at a time, yours does 4 tyres and I love that, worth the money I think, maybe I’ll get one one day, thanks for sharing
For sure, it has some advantages with all four tyres. Maybe something to look at when the old system is on the way out?
Cheers 👍
Nice honest review mate and clearly stating your position in not recieving anything for it. Good content, hate the reviews where they just push the product as they are getting kickbacks for it. Genuinely looks like a great product too
Cheers mate. I do to, hence why I specifically request no kickbacks... it certainly puts me behind a little, but I can review/and edit these videos exactly how I want too 👍
And... yes it actually is 😆
Thanks
Thanks Russell, much appreciated 🙏
I can see ARB going with something like this in the future
Yeah, no doubt mate. They do seem to imitate anything on the market these days... 🙄
Nice video. I suggest you take a look at the ARB pressure control kit. I decided to build my own 4 way inflation kit and since it doesn’t have the gauge it’s a much more compact setup. I have front and rear presets which makes things very easy to manage. Personally I think it’s neater to managed the one coil of hoses vs the air up kit hose and the deflator and inflator.
Thanks mate, I'll have a look into these. Always new and innovative products to check out 👍
Mate, great vid as usual! Comprehensive, concise and compact. Thanks again!
Here's the question tho I would have liked answered; Would you buy it full price if you had to hand it back or would you spend money on trying something else, like icheck?
Best part is Nathan, you've earned a good deal of trust from us 👍👍👍
Thanks mate, glad I have earn't this level of trust. I genuinely do this type of reviews to advise the market of new and innovative products, just like this one.
So, me personally, I would not buy it now, having a system that has been and still is working well. If I was going to buy anything to add/change or start again (replace a broken system) then this would be the product of choice. I reckon it would also be great for b'day/christmas presents for significant others if it's within the budget 👍
Nathan, thanks for another awesome review.
I can only say all your methods for deflation are much faster than my broken twig but there’s a reason why you’ll never end up with massive biceps like mine as clearly your not working the bicycle pump like me 😂
This kit actually makes the arb twin compressor sound like something worth buying now as you can get full advantage of the extra hp 👍🏻
My only concern would be that hose, as I somehow manage to put tangles in almost anything I touch 🤦♂️
Cheers mate. Ahh, that's your secret to the muscles hey!? 😆
It's amazing how much of a difference this system makes to the speed and efficiency of that compressor. Very happy with it now 👍
I can imagine you winding yourself up in a web of fluro green 😆
@@XploringOz 😂
Good review. Seems better for us physically challenged.
That lack of constant intervention is my favourite advantage for sure 👍
The trouble with 4x4 (and camping) gear is that they keep improving. I use the Maxtrax Indeflate which does two tyres at once. Now there is one for four!!! Damn it. :)
The Maxtrax system is a good system. I'll stay with mine and just take a couple of minutes longer. What's the rush. When the Maxtrax dies I'll look at what's around then.
I modified my ind3flate using a ball valve on the bottom of it. Bit quicker now as ive removed that tiny schraeder valve off the indeflate.
Haha, yes that is the case with most things though. Maybe this is just an idea for you when your current setup gives up... one day haha 😆
@krump 7 - Yes, this in the problem with the Indeflate, it uses a regular valve which limits the efficiency advantage I mentioned in this video
It looks like having a twin piston compressor (upgrade) would be part of the deal to maximise the benefit and efficiency of the MORRFlate system. I only have a portable single piston compressor which I suspect would really struggle (and get pretty warm) and take quite some time to inflate all four tyres at once using the MORRFlate.
Great video once again Nathan 👍
Interesting point. I have the indeflate which doesn’t latch on anywhere near as reliably as this and hence i hardly use it. I also only have the single arb compressor and my question was going to be…twin vs quad? The quad looks good but with smaller compressor the twin morrflate might be better
@@pantoqwerty Hmmm ... I wasn't aware the MORRFlate comes in a two hose configuration as well as a four so perhaps I ought to jump on their website and have a look. Totally agree with the MaxTrax Indeflate hose connectors not being very reliable. I had noted this from the very first time using mine from new which was a bit disappointing.
I'd really be interested if the MORRFlate hose connectors (or at least that design) are available somewhere for retro fit to my Indeflate. Surely those connectors would be available somewhere. Apart from that, my single piston compressor (naturally) takes a bit longer to re-inflate two tyres at a time as opposed to one and as a result, also is of course quite a bit warmer than usual afterwards.
For sure, the twin compressor is going to maximise that efficiency and perform well when paired up with the Morrflate. MorrFlate also do their own compressor called the TenSix - not sure if you can buy in Aus, but this thing is quick and inflates tyres in a much, much quicker timeframe!
Hi! Thanks for all the information, I have just one question, what if i do not own a compressor? and i use (for example) the public ones at gas stations in my country, is there a way to connect that compressor connection to receive air from a valve that normally inflates tires with those normal tire valves? Thank you for everything!
Hi Nathan. Thanks for another great video..Dose the Morr flate system only come in a 4 outlet kit or can we get the 2 system
Hi mate, we sell the 2 hose also. When using the two hose you will also have to plug a hose into it otherwise you won’t reach your wheels. We have both in stock. Cheers
Excellent work, Nathan. I thought another Pro would be that you are not continuously having to be crouched down at a wheel, possibly in a hostile environment also not being visible to others (safety). I am also curious as to using this Morrflate system is a sandy environment. Is it going to prove damaging to the lock/release mechanism? Cheers, Dan.
We have been using in the sand over and over again. Zero issues with more than 8 months of personal use. I give a wipe down when at home and then have given one spray of INOX on the airchucks recently. So far absolutely perfect
For sure, this is another great advantage 👍
So far I've had no problems with the limited sand use that I've put them through. I'm liking the idea of the inox spray though, this might help them keep fresh
@Essential 4x4 - great idea with the INOX, no doubt this will help them keep fresh and lubricated in grit 👍
How about ARB put a three point quick connect on their digital inflator. I’m happy to take a little more time to pump up. Gives me time to do visual mechanical checks whilst I’m down there.
I mean you could, but the Morrflate offers handsfree mechanical checks while all 4 tyres are inflating 😆
I mean, it's not for everyone, but I'm really happy with it. 👍
Great review, can I ask is there any question why you cant use the ARB inflator to deflate as well?
You can simply hook up and push tab that normally inflates to deflate
Yeah, so you can but it's incredibly slow... like really, really slow. Would highly recommend some other method.
Great review as always, well done. These are not for me, extra size, extra weight and more stuff I dont need just to save a minute or two at best.
Thanks mate, absolutely they aren't for everyone, to be honest, I didn't think they for me either... but I've been pleasantly surprised. 👍
What size do you recommend buying for 4Runner 5generation? 100” o 125”
The concept is great but the reality is the bulkiness is a big deal breaker.
I've been using a very basic method with the bottom half of a staun style Chinese knockoff to screw on the valve to let air out and it is basic but works pretty well.
I recently decided to try the icheck deflators and they are next level of ease and compactness.
I just couldn't justify the mucking around with all of the hoses to possibly save a couple of minutes inflating time when you would lose that time in the pack up of the kit
I hear you mate and it's not for everyone, but you sound exactly like me before I starting using this. Like I said in the video, I was sceptical too, but it works well and really isn't that much fuss to use.
You mentioned loosing time packing everything up, my speed test in the video was start to finish of both methods. This included the pace up of all those hoses. It's still 2:12 faster 👍
@@XploringOz yeah fair enough might be more of my mental block with the mucking around involved with hoses setting it up.
But the package size is significant so wouldn't work for me . . . . Compared to the few mins I might lose using a pocket sized deflator and normal compressor
Too many other packages to find a spot for already 👍
5:30 buy their compressor and it will
What tyre size did you use for this test?
Hey mate, these are a 306/65 18 tyre
Mm? you advertise a discount code & free shipping but when I go to check out, there is neither offer applied. Deal breaker for me🤨
The new ones do cut off at a set pressure. Pro model
Thats in reference to the Morrflate Compressors themselves though right? This was just focussing on the quad inflation system 👍
Too bad you don't have the Morrflate compressor, I believe it can be preset and will turn off and it's very quick.
I've looked into this and something I might try in the future. It looks the good on paper and no doubt will have some useful benefits.
It's 2023, why are we still having to adjust pressures manually?
Every service station has an automated solution, why do we settle for less in the back of our 4WDs?
You can automate it using the ARB system which is approx $400. I have seen Dash off-road is using that system with the Morrflate. Sets all 4 tyres to inflate and deflate. I’m unsure if everyone can afford it though
@@aaronhall1114 I haven't tested the ARB automated system, though know that their manual digital inflator is a major restrictor to flow at high rates of air volume. Hopefully they addressed the issue with the auto version.
@@LockyourHubs4WDing uses the auto version with the Morrflate
Hey Simon, I hear you there. No doubt the industry is making its way in this direction.
I guess size restrictions would play a small part, but I'm guessing the additional cost is another big factor.
ARB have started this, will be interesting to see how the market adapts moving forward 👍
@@XploringOz there's the Jamec Pem Auto 1000 (a bit big, but industrial quality) and the likes of the ARB with the app integration.
The biggest issue with fast deflation/inflation times is the Schrader valve. I've gone less than 20 seconds to inflate a 35" tyre from 18-38psi, using tanks and a ball valve.
Anyway, keep up the great work! Love the videos.
Perhaps he should’ve done the test on a 40 degree day on hot bitumen or sand.
I could of, but even with everything crossed, I still can't control the weather 😆
Any reason the test would be different in hot weather, or any specific point that would differ from a regular method of inflating/deflating?
@@XploringOz because a few minutes longer to blow tyres up isn’t really an issue on a comfortable 23 degree day, but on a stinking hot day with kids in the car and dogs, with the sun beating down and crawling around in the sand, 4-5 minutes becomes an intolerable pain in the arse. All of a sudden some of the drawbacks you pointed out become a little less relevant.
@@simonarmitage2591 This is very true. Something I hadn't really considered in the cold and wet miserable weather that I was filming is 😆
ARB needs to go to jail for pricing that set up that high
its certainly expensive for what you get!
