I will bow and tip my hat to anyone who has ridden sportsters for over 100,000 miles. A 1971 sportster started my love for pretty much all things motorcycle. I was only 13 at the time but I had an active imagination. Since I quickly grew into my 6’3” 190 body I realized owning a sportster wasn’t going to happen. You look like the perfect size for that bike. Really liked this video. Be safe. Always, Bill
I'm never disappointed with your videos. I love how you took a harley event ride and made a ride to food video. Your videos always make me smile, and always feel like just watching a riding buddy. Great first ride video, Staci!
I love my 2022 Nightster! I have watched dozens of videos done on this event from other vloggers, and honestly, this one is my favorite. You did a really great job!
Always the best reviews. One of the few motorcycle channels I watch anymore. You know what riding a motorcycle is all about. Once again, thank you so much.
As always your food videos are perfect. I’m glad you kept that aspect true during your demo ride. After all, Ride to Food is what this is about! As sportster lover too I am anxious to try the new Nightster.
Absolutely loved the video. I bought a 22 nightster about four months ago and I absolutely love it going from a 20 1983 sportster absolutely no comparison. I want to do videos on this night that I purchased similar to what you have done thank you for your knowledge and inspiration and enthusiasm. By the way the mustard bar I love mustard. I have to check that out. Lol
I love this video. I have a 2009 XL1200 Nightster, which is my first bike and seeing the ‘remake’ of it made me weary. The new version looks like a fun performance bike. Still keeping my original baby but it makes my heart happy to see it perform well.
The first 12 years of my life were in SB. My dad re-enlisted in the army and we went back east. Unfortunately I have never been back. But this video has made me feel the need to return. All my family are gone now so it would be a solo ride from Tennessee to the beaches where I played as a kid with my sister and mother. Thank You for this video and I’m really thinking about test riding the Nightster. Hell I may buy one and ride it locally here
Thanks for bringing back some good memories! In ‘09 I rode the entire RT66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. Visited Ojai, actually ate at the Deer Lodge, and rode RT33! Probably not gonna repeat that trip in this lifetime but damn what a trip and such good memories! Anyhow, thanks for your typically awesome video. That new sportster looks cool, though waaaaaay to small for me at 6’3” with a 36” inseam!
Thank you! An ST review video will be up next week! Hopefully I get to do more of these indeed, with HD and other OEMs! 😊 glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate the feedback.
Have yet to get the opportunity to ride the Nightster. I am really intrigued by the Low Rider ST. You did a great job with your review and still showing us some great scenery. As usual, another stellar job Staci. You have become one of my favorite vloggers by far. Thanks
I got to test ride one last weekend with 10 miles on it. Mid controls were welcomed compared to the Sporster S forwards. The bars had me stretched out a bit too far but an easy fix. The engine really pulls up top after 5k rpm but it made a hell of a racket, much like a hammer factory
Solid work! I watch three other channels mostly just for their first rides and this one sounded just as good as any of those. Jealous that you got to ride that part of the coast.
Hello Stacy . Awsome vid. Ca. Coast quite the view. 19th hole awesome signal 98. Love the way you handle that bike. Ride like a pro. Many blessings to ya.
This is the release from Harley that I was most interested in seeing videos about. IMO it the best looking of the new bikes and as always your video was great.💯✌🤟🤘
So I have watched many first ride videos of the new Sportster Nightster and I have to say I was not impressed with the new version of the Sportster, at all. After watching this video, I have to say I was very impressed with the bike. For a “first time ride video” I think you did extremely well. But then again like mentioned in a previous comment in this thread. I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos.
First, thank you for another great video. Great footage along with some awesome explanations and narration. Awesome food as usual too! You are among my top three favorite channels out there. Second, as a follower I know you’ve been putting in some significant efforts towards your own personal well being. I just want to say in this video in particular, you look amazing!!!! I’ve always thought you were quite picturesque, but the transformation that’s visible here is stunning. Proud of you for you hard work. Keep it up. You always have, but continue to inspire me and my own journeys. Thank you.
First, thanks for the kind words as always! 2. Thank you! Definitely have been putting in the work 💪 3. Glad to be a part of the adventure in one way or another 😊😊😊
Great first ride review! That looks like a bike that would be great up Clear Creek canyon or 285 out of town. Thanks as always for taking us along! P.S. Going moto-camping & fly fishing up near Granby this weekend.
Great Video, you did an excellent job on the review. I am glad Harley finally picked you for a test ride. When is the video of you and the Pan American coming out?, I know it will be awhile cause you film this time of year. Ride Safe. Thanks
Current editing to do list: RSD MAYWOOD JACKET REVIEW LowRider ST - First Ride Devilstone run Yellowstone 1 - West Yellow Yellowstone 2 - Gardiner Thermopolis And then 5-7 PanAm videos 😎 I am hoping to push these out fairly quickly! I’m super behind so I’m choosing closer travels this season versus long distance so I can edit more
First time doing a first ride video? You did a damn good job of it. I use to review cars on a weekly basis so yes you were on point. Also, I love that area of northern Cali that you were in. I haven't been there in years. And don't ya love all expense paid fam trips where you don't have to worry about how, when or where? It's all laid out for you.
Great job, you are a fantastic content creator regardless of your subject. Would love to see you make more of these first ride impression videos. You have more than enough riding experience to give meaningful input.
Of all the Harleys I've owned, the Sporty is the only one I miss. I don't think I would buy one of these though. I probably would have bought a Bronx, but sadly they killed it. Feedback... this may still be a small channel, but your content is as good as anyone's. I'd even say your storytelling is the best of all the motovloggers I follow.
Hey Stace, loving the videos, you’re a sorted gal! Thanks for the content. Anytime you feel like reviewing the Street Glide ST with a trip to some good place for grub would be cool. Keep it up. 👍🏻
Awesome first ride video, I have to agree with you stock bars on almost every bike is uncomfortable. I’m a Dyna / Street glide guy I’ve changed bars on all my bikes, the food looked yummy but not much for dark beers Lol… traditional Bud light or Michelob ultra 😎 maybe we’ll see you in Sturgis next month
My 07 RoakKing's stock bars had me leaning too much forward and it hurt my back. I swapped them out for Heritage bars - same as on Ultra Classics at the time after I rented one in South Dakota for a day and loved it. Great change. That was 15 years ago. Still riding with the same bars. I noticed your back was a bit straight, if not slightly backwards curved on the bike. They say a slight forward curve to help absorb big bumps more comfortably is better. But ride a bike for an hour and you can tell what ergo's you'd want to change if any. Sounds like you knew what the deal was. Love the "light" scraping on the foot peg. Someone had fun! I do NOT like having to pop the seat open to fuel up. You have to get off the bike. I have an F800GS with an under seat tank, but the cap is externally accessible. It's a little awkward to fuel up without getting off the bike, but I do it all the time. Nice flossing, ya did there. I liked the custom flair at the end. Extra points for style. LOL, you stayed with the fast pack cuz you were just having too ... much... fun. :) Oooh, Dunkel. Yummy! I love me a good dark brew, unless it's summer. Then I'm going for a colder, lighter beer. I liked the video. Nicely done. As always.
Great 'first ride' review, the Sportster looks and sounds like a lot of fun to ride. I used to work for German company and have visited German a fair number of times over the years, I never got anything to eat there that looked as good as that.
Well done, a great feature as usual. Those first ride presentations are not my favorite films as most motovloggers I watch do them and when I have seen one the rest gets boring. And in this special case I do not really like the new sportsters, so I watched this vid despite the presented bike. I prefer your (and the other‘s) more individual films with your personal topics such as road trips, traveling and food. By the way: you are looking good, very healthy and full of energy. 👍🏻
Your video is top quality as always. I find it very interesting to hear a first impression from a lady biker, kind of gimme a different view of what the bike is about/like. Big thanks Staci!!
Thank ya! I’ve worked with Bell since 2016. I’m a huge fan of their helmets, and their brand in general. Even if I didn’t work with them, I can confidently say they’d still be my helmet of choice. I love the race star!
I've never cared for the sound of any stock motorcycle to be completely honest lol but as the aftermarket world adjusts to this new powertrain, options to customize will come about! As far as it looks, it's not what we are used to seeing from the Motor Company beyond the iconic v-twin motor that's prominent on all of their product offerings. I'm not an initial fan of cosmetic change, but I tend to adjust over time.
Ridetofood.com/camera-gear has an extensive list of everything I use! :) but most video captions/descriptions have lists of cameras used for each video
My back also hurt on the pan am with stock handlebars lol but it’s an awesome bike. Videos are posting out of order right now due to deadlines. Those will be out soon!
There’s a film crew following us to help us get good riding shots! Harley hired them, not me :) and as Doug mentioned, I also use a 360 camera so I can get multiple angles while riding.
Loved this video. Stoked to hear a review that includes thoughtful descriptions and technical details, in my opinion that’s much more interesting and insightful that just saying “it’s awesome!”. Cool bike and cool video!
My 08 Sportster xl1200 Nightster produces 111fpt and 108 horses. It’s only stage 1 with woods performance cams… The sportsters you know are the newer ones and they’re much weaker than the older models…
This is where a solid power to weight ratio conversation could be had, in addition to a chassis and aftermarket performance discussion, but that’s okay. 😊
I will bow and tip my hat to anyone who has ridden sportsters for over 100,000 miles. A 1971 sportster started my love for pretty much all things motorcycle. Thank you!! I tried to stay true to the channel theme in this one lol!
I love my 2022 Nightster! I have watched dozens of videos done on this event from other vloggers, and honestly, this one is my favorite. You did a really great job!
Thank you! Stoked you’re loving your bike! 😊
Always the best reviews. One of the few motorcycle channels I watch anymore. You know what riding a motorcycle is all about. Once again, thank you so much.
Thanks, Hank!

Awesome! I love the scenery. Such an awesome find with that waterfall!
Right?? It was beautiful!!
I love this video. I have a 2009 XL1200 Nightster, which is my first bike and seeing the ‘remake’ of it made me weary. The new version looks like a fun performance bike. Still keeping my original baby but it makes my heart happy to see it perform well.
Very cool critique on the Sportster and that German bier Garten looked so DELICIOUS 😋!!
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Thanks Staci for shering. Nice video and hopfoly good bikes.
This bike looks like a blast to ride Looking back, I should’ve test rode one at Babes Ride Out. Thanks for another excellent review!
Really enjoyed the aerial views and that tunnel to open field transition was 🤌
Thank you! Thought that one was pretty clever as well lol!
You’ll get to see some more views of SB in my LowRider ST video next week 😊
Best bike review, professional, simple, how you felt about bike! Thanks for videos my whole family watching, clean. We plan rides as family thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Haha yes, you'd be a bit cramped! But glad you got to relive some memories :)
Great Video . I brought the 2023 Nightster Special A even better bike did 2000km in 2 days on it . have 6660kms on it already love the bike .
The bike looks good but the rider is what's making it happen. Love your channel and the food you like to eat.
Great job! I really like how u made it your own and stepped away to take on sites like the waterfall and pointed out the stops. 👍🏽
Thanks for the feedback!! 😊 I tried to stay “on brand” lol!
Great first ride review! Love the transition out of that last tunnel. Hopefully you get more opportunities to do these. 🤙🏾
Thank you! An ST review video will be up next week! Hopefully I get to do more of these indeed, with HD and other OEMs! 😊 glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate the feedback.
Great scenery, great bike, great girl and great review. Thanks to you, while sitting several thousand kilometers from the USA, I can visit them.
Thank you 😊
I got to check out the new sportster nightster and it’s a great bike! 🤘⚡️🤘✨✨🤘
Niiiiiiice! Glad you liked it too!
Santa Barbara is the perfect setting for this. I'm really digging the Nightster and can't wait to ride one.
It was a fun bike! Definitely enjoyed it for the day! Thanks for watching 😊
Have yet to get the opportunity to ride the Nightster. I am really intrigued by the Low Rider ST. You did a great job with your review and still showing us some great scenery. As usual, another stellar job Staci. You have become one of my favorite vloggers by far. Thanks
Thanks Wayne!! I got to ride the ST the following day, and I’m working on that video this weekend 😊 spoiler alert: it’s a RIPPER! Loved it!
Wow... watching that full liter of Weihenstephaner being poured and the schnitzel makes me want some German food and beer for dinner tonight.
🍻
@@ridetofood Pros't! 🍻

The revolution max definitely has a completely different sound to it! It can be a little weird to get used to, for sure! Glad you got to ride one!
Awesome video!! *the shots of you going through the tunnels were epic!
Tunnel Vision! 😎 glad you enjoyed it!
Solid work! I watch three other channels mostly just for their first rides and this one sounded just as good as any of those. Jealous that you got to ride that part of the coast.
Yay! Thanks for the feedback! It was a fun little rip, for sure! That area of CA is pretty cool
Awesome ! Looks like you were genuinely having a blast!
Absolutely!! Was such a fun day.
I love riding Ojai when I was stationed in California
Nice!!!
Great video. Wow your face gains are unreal! Great work.
thanks for watching!
Hello Stacy . Awsome vid. Ca. Coast quite the view. 19th hole awesome signal 98. Love the way you handle that bike. Ride like a pro. Many blessings to ya.
Thanks Mark!
Nice job on the review or your perspective, which I like seeing those there ton of info on specs on bikes.
Glad you enjoyed it! Agreed - laundry lists of specs roam the internet!
This is the release from Harley that I was most interested in seeing videos about. IMO it the best looking of the new bikes and as always your video was great.💯✌🤟🤘

Another great video! I really like your videos. Your channel is one of my inspirations to create my own channel. Keep up the beautiful work always!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the kind words. 😊
Love your videos but hate the underseat tank. Great and honest video; TY.

Great review. Like how you edit your videos. Kudos.
Thank you! 😊
Great video Staci! I rode the new Nightster at a demo day last month, that bike is a ton of fun. Keep up the great content.
Glad you got to ride one!! Thanks for watching :)

Great job. Hope you got to ride the low rider St and will do one on that also
That one will be up next week just after the holiday! 🇺🇸
Awesome video as always do you see yourself doing bagger's in the future like Road Glide s and Street Glide s
If given the opportunity to ride them, yes! I can’t afford to purchase them thought 😂
Great video, love the voiceover style.
Yay! Thanks for watching!
Great video look like a lot of fun. the bike looks to me like a Sportster and a V-Rod had a baby...
Hahaha I can see where that visual comes from, for sure! Handles much better than both, though! 😎
Very nice video! The fuel tank appears to be to small for touring.
Any bike can be a touring bike! My chopper gets 70 miles to a tank and i've ridden it cross country a few times! :)
Great review. While the sportsters are a bit on the small side for me, your review made me want to take one for a rip!
Definitely small but fun to take for a rip! 😎
Very good video, makes me want to test ride one.
Rad! Thanks for the feedback! 😊
A great review of a great bike... this is a bike I'd love to have .
It was a blast! Hopefully you’ll get to ride one (or own one!) soon!
Yes!!! This bike is soooo fun! Looks like this was a blast!
SOOPA FUN!
Your video is top quality as always. I find it very interesting to hear a first impression from a lady biker, kind of gimme a different view of what the bike is about/like. Big thanks Staci!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great channel! Bell helmets seem to be your favourite choice, any reason? Love from the UK ✌
Thank ya! I’ve worked with Bell since 2016. I’m a huge fan of their helmets, and their brand in general. Even if I didn’t work with them, I can confidently say they’d still be my helmet of choice. I love the race star!

Of course 😊
Great video!
Thanks Quincy!
Good job I like the video I subscribed
Rad! Welcome aboard. 😊
Sick review stellar as usual! Wonder how big guys like me will feel on these bad boys. What’s one thing you would change on this bike?
The handlebars, immediately. hahahah!
Thought it was a great first first ride vid!
Thanks Josh!!
Great vid! How do you honestly feel about how it looks and sounds?
I've never cared for the sound of any stock motorcycle to be completely honest lol but as the aftermarket world adjusts to this new powertrain, options to customize will come about! As far as it looks, it's not what we are used to seeing from the Motor Company beyond the iconic v-twin motor that's prominent on all of their product offerings. I'm not an initial fan of cosmetic change, but I tend to adjust over time.
Can you do one with Xdiavel ?
I’d ride some Ducatis! They gotta give me the opportunity first, though! Haha
sickkk! cool vid beb!
Thank you! 🤗
great video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Very entertaining video with good script and a …. Pretty girl to top it all - now where’s the subscribe button
Haha I hope ya found it! Glad you enjoyed the video!
what is the camera that you're using? i'm looking into getting one.
Ridetofood.com/camera-gear has an extensive list of everything I use! :) but most video captions/descriptions have lists of cameras used for each video
Your back hurts with stock bars on all bikes or just cruisers? How was the Pan Am?
My back also hurt on the pan am with stock handlebars lol but it’s an awesome bike. Videos are posting out of order right now due to deadlines. Those will be out soon!
@@ridetofood same. My neck hurts with stock setup because I'm freakishly tall, but only after like 150 miles.
New sub! Liked 🙏😛✌️
Welcome aboard! 😎🤙
great vid... it's sorta the 2nd bike in ya shed if ya have a lazzy $15k in ya pocket.... cheers
How are you getting these camera angles? Did you get somebody to operate the camera?
Reasonably sure she's using a 360 camera Ike the GoPro Max. In post you can make it "flat" (1080) in any direction.
There’s a film crew following us to help us get good riding shots! Harley hired them, not me :) and as Doug mentioned, I also use a 360 camera so I can get multiple angles while riding.
Can I ask how tall are you? It seems your knees were fairly high, while riding. Looks like you could’ve had the handle bars a little closer.
5'4" with a 30" inseam
I'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam. I feel for folks that struggle with taller bikes, especially ADV or off road bikes cuz I'm one of them.
Loved this video. Stoked to hear a review that includes thoughtful descriptions and technical details, in my opinion that’s much more interesting and insightful that just saying “it’s awesome!”. Cool bike and cool video!
