Translation of reader`s poem:
Stop, please stop, because Autumn is still on fire.
Stop, look how the last leaves fly away.
Stop, pray: that's how soul flys away from the body,
And those troubled trees are like candles, standing around.
The rain settled in abandoned Autumn halls,
Winds destroyed Her proud lush altars.
There are so few things left in this performance of Life:
Just short note out of all those comedies and tragedies.
Will someone cry, or not?
Will anyone miss us, when we'll get rid of
everyday terrestrial gunpowder from our wings?
Let's remember dead Autumn's quiet goodness.
Please forgive us all our sins.

Absolutely beautiful. The entire choir was fantastic but my God the woman's singing was like an other worldly, spiritual experience for me...I've literally, got tears & snot streaming down my face! lol
I've listened to Bach, Air on G a million times, however, never via a choir but I've got to say, this was up there with the best of them.

Bach’s Air is lit in any style.
My real name may not come up on here, but I was born in Haiti and raised in a home where my late father would play classical music on the regular. That’s why he named me after his favorite virtuoso of music, Mozart! But I have explored a love unequal for Bach. His work was mostly vertical, which brings a sense of balance on our horizontal relationships. What a gem of a rendition! I knew there should be a vocal piece on UA-cam of this most solemn phenomenon of a composition! Thank you!

I would always listen to this song wil going to work and saying a prayer everyday. The prayer was a poem I made up as a kid.
O Lord our God up in heaven in the sky
I pray that my epilepsy will say goodbye
That I will be relieved from the agony and stress
Of having this condition put my life in a mess

I don't want to dilute the sanctity of prayer and this heavenly music but I strongly suggest that yiu slso look into the ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting. This is well documented to ease or even cure epileptic seizures
@@johnedwards1289 this never helped me in fact alot of Procedures never helped me. What I found in my life is that I was overwhelmed with intense strees from epilepsy. I finally told my self at the age of 18 that I need to move on and forget about not having seizures. I went to college and continued my Degree. As I moved on I got my mind off the loads of stress of having seizures. This very same year I meet a Priest that many around the world where going to and He said a prayer over them. Weeks to years later these people where cured of cancer, or many different diseases.
@@johnedwards1289 i havent had a seiure now in 20 years . Diet never helped I had to have 1. Temporal lobe surgery. 2. a vns 3. New medication . I was after these 3 steps I got to the point i was seizure free. But before this I was trying everything and nothing worked

I thought exactly the same.
i like to imagine the painting of ivan killing his son when i hear this piece. in the context of the painting, the music gets across this feeling of anguish and nostalgia that i find really fitting, as though ivan the terrible is remembering the times he had with his son as he dies in his arms. the "ethereal" sound i perceive of the piece makes me think of the son going to heaven. it's a very emotional experience and i encourage the reader to do the same, i'd only heard this as generic classical background music previously and it's really been recontextualized for me. i can also hear it as the theme of a beleaguered, beaten person summoning the last of their strength to trudge on when they have nothing left.
