Dagur is one of the only characters I've seen in something who has managed to be my favorite villain AND hero. It's impressive, but he really committed to both roles marvelously. He was a physical and mental threat along with how ruthless he was and how he didn't mind letting others think they had the upper hand when really he was plotting against them; he also showed time and time again that he would put his friends/sister above himself and did some seriously considerate things like giving them willow bark. The way I see it, Stoick and Oswald had peace. Hiccup and Dagur have an alliance 🤗
