As ever, a helpful video. I’ve just bought some from Nippy’s that fit inside the hand guards. Every language except English in the instructions. Muffs mean you can wear summer gloves and get the full benefit of the heated grips too.
I fitted the very same to my old Honda Blackbird, work great in shitty wet West coast of Scotland for year round commuting. A pair of Oxford heated grips and your sorted. Hummed and hawed about fitting Muffs for years, I wish I'd done it sooner.
Should have gone with the R334 set, includes washers. I’ve got weighted bar ends and had to cut the rubber cup back flush with the bar end as I was getting unintended cruise control as you mentioned. Overall these are a game changer mate and I ride with the muffs and summer gloves in the winter, along with heated grips these are brilliant. Good video mate !
F***ing Hell...What a performance to put on a pair of handlebar muffs !! These should be easy on in winter when the weather is cold but also easy off not just in spring & summer but on warmer, drier winter days. Someone at Tucano Urbano needs to do a bit of innovation at their R&D department.
I had a a pair of Oxford muffs years ago which got ditched at the side of the road when they tried to kill me! These lok a bit more hi-tech however I stiil prefer a good pair of gloves plus heated grips. Love the limb restraints to hold them on though!!!
Thanks buddy for your posting! Quite clear. After all these months how satisfied are youwith these muffs? Do they really protect your hands from coldness?
+Allan Cavalcanti I've actually sold the Explorer and now got a GS. The muffs were fantastic thought, essential if you ride right through the winter. I could actually wear summer gloves even when the temp was below zero, and just have the heated grips on at the low setting, toasty warm 👍
hazzer hazzer Yes mate, check out the latest show - V6. I used them during a ride up to Scotland last week. -5 degrees with summer gloves and I had to turn the heated grips off as they were too hot. Great bits of kit.
I bought the Tucano Urbano muffs that were recommended for my Honda Silverwing 600 scooter. The plug that goes on the bar weight wouldn't stay in position and they interfered with the throttle return but they fit real nice in the box that they came in so I used the box to return them. Also, the part of the muff that I had to stick my thumbs in to work the lights and signals made operation of them kind of clumsy. I have a pair of Oxford Rainseal muffs now and they work much better.
What a pile of shit, why would you publicly badmouth all the different versions of Tucano Urbano muffs with the same cut and paste review..? Did you buy them all, and return them all? Sounds more like you work for Oxford, or are you just a sad old internet troll?! Sad

If you read this six years later, I totally agree! What a faff! And those f-kin great velcro straps? Put me right off!
Thks for the video. Really helpful. I have a pan European and I wasn't sure if it would fit my bike.

Nice video ! Going to give these a try this winter to see if I can avoid splashing out on heated gloves. Thanks for putting the video together
+Bob Farrell No worries Bob, honestly mate they made a hell of a difference 👍
I came across your channel because I was looking into bar muffs but wow, looking at your other video, you have a new subscriber. 👍

+Deivid Silva Blimey I hadn't seen that before!
I wonder if this is why I always see a cat outside your garage?
Yes I did. I just came here to see if anyone else had.
Cheers mate
Hey anyone can reply?, do you need the handlebar end screws? Can you got it without them, my bike hasn't got any :P
Will these fit cruisers??
