This song performed by the JMB’s helps me be a better Christian. That’s what this life is all about. As the Good Book says “every knee shall bow”. Repent! Daily!

I've listened to this song many times over the years. I wonder if they realized, at the time, just how good they were. One of my regrets is that I wasn't at Lucketts, VA on this night.

Graduated in 1979 from Gaithersburg High School in Gaithersburg, MD and one of my fellow graduates was the great Eddie Stubbs. Little did we know then how much he would accomplish in his life.

Marshall Willborn, on bass, also performed in his wife's group, The Lynn Morris Band.

FWIW one of three songs Carter Stanley recorded with Bill Monroe during Carter's short stint as a Bluegrass Boy while Ralph was recovering from a serious car wreck. Recorded in Jan 1951 as best I recall. The others were "Cabin of Love" and "Sugar Coated Love."
