Such great memories💕 I totally remember everything you mentioned! My first car was a mini, no real dashboard, very basic and small. It had some go faster stripes on the sides 😂 Had an escort in the 90s. Had so many cassettes, plus the ones recorded on a Sunday from the top 40. Play and record buttons together! Great times 💕
Hey Lucy, I actually learnt to drive in a mini not quite how they are now I don’t think, yes play record at the same time very quickly 🤣 glad he brought back some fun memories for you. It certainly did for me too. ❤️❤️
I'm so glad! As soon as I saw that picture of the escort I just had to do a journal page about it and then the rest just followed. I’m happy you enjoyed it.😊💖
Oh what fun memories Carol! That background paper with the tag outlines is amazing. I would have xeroxed it before I used it. I love the pictures of your future librarian. How amazing that a one year old is that captivated by books. Tell her mum and dad not to let her play on their phones or computers until she's able to read. It's such a shame that I see babies out in public with their parents cell phones already unaware of the wonderful world around them. My first car was a Chevy Nova and yes, it also had a cassette player. Good times! Lol. ❤❤❤
Hi Helen, thank you so much. Millie is just such a clever girl and she just loves everything but the interactive books have really taken her fancy. No, she is not allowed to play on phones the only time she does is when we are video chatting. Oh yes, our first cars always some happy memories lol. Guess I can always make some more of that tag paper it was quite cool thanks for being here Helen 🩷😁
Better yet, remember 8 track cassettes? This was fun, Carol! My first car was a 1968 Dodge Coronet 440. It was big, and it could fly! LOL Millie likes interactive books! So cute!
Can you believe how far we’ve come now from cassettes, it’s amazing how far technologies come, I love reminiscing though 😁 thank you for watching and commenting🩷
Hi Carol, this was so fun to reminisce with you about your younger driving days!! I also spent many hours recording my own playlist right from the radio in the 80’s…so fun! Collage is always so relaxing and awesome to see it come together , great memory page! Beautiful photos of Millie🥰🌸
Thank you yes she’s a little treasure 🩷🩷 it’s amazing how a few pictures can bring back so many memories, collage is a great and fun way to mark those moments in time we want to remember, you do it so well I’m just following your lead 😁
Hi, Carol! Memory lane, indeed! 😊 My high school boyfriend had a Ford Escort “in the family”, but we couldn’t take it without a chaperone to drive, because he was a year younger than me, and his parents wouldn’t give permission. Their Escort was banana-yellow, a hatchback model. It also had horrible rust problems. I sure do remember cranking the windows! And no air conditioning in the cars! 😃 I graduated high school in 1986. Times sure have changed in some ways, haven’t they? Cheers! from Lynn in Hallsville, Missouri USA
Hi Lynn how cool that you also had a Ford Escort well sort of indirectly, you know all about the rust 🤣 happy memories for sure I have so much fun doing this page. I’m glad that you enjoyed it and it brought back a few memories for you. Thanks for commenting. It’s lovely to hear a bit of your life. 🩷🩷
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. 😂 Yep, taping the top 20 on a Sunday ( tape wasnt long enough for the top 40😂), manual windows and no aircon. 😂 And your grand daughter is gorgeous. ❤❤xx
Carol: now that was really fun on all accounts. I, too, have wonderful memories of several cars I drove as a young gal. What fun just thinking about it. The page turned out real cool! Carol from California
I am loving watching and listening to you 😊 I love collaging and making things but find it hard to make time for it - need to get better at allowing myself some play time!

I guess you need to throw those rubbish “glue” sticks in the bin. They appear to be useless. Love your collage and reminiscing.❤
I know I really should. They are very frustrating. Thank you for watching.🩷
