I think this is the best exercise of all time. The feeling is absolutely insane. The just all out defeated feeling of the shoulders and traps is unmatched in any other movement I’ve done
Is there a benefit doing them behind the neck compared to regular ? I’ve been doing them standing with free weights barbell but I’ve ordered a smith machine and thinking to do both begind the neck and regular
@Stegfan Haager, I have seen some people only bringing it down to the midpoint of the head..but you are bringing it all the way down.... any specific reason?
Back in the days, I'd have said it's to achieve the full ROM. Now I'd also add the argument for stretch mediated hypertrophy. Also, when you can achieve such ROM, without any pain or discomfort, it's a good thing to use the full ROM.
@@sth1990 got it!!! I used to bring it all the way down as well, but then I saw some professional bodybuilder bringing it halfway down... thanks for the reply, though!

What does this exercise hit the most posterior or lateral or anterior deltoid ?
Should hit the anterior delt the most.
yup...agree..best workout ever!
When should we exhale & inhale ?
Inhale when you go down, exhale when you press up. In through the nose out through the mouth.
We don't actually
@@burchwillson inhale before you start the rep, exhale after you’ve finished the rep. You want your core braced the entire time
