- holly shit , i'm emo. I was puking rainbows while editing this and it only took me 3 hours! it's the fastest i've ever made.
before editing i kinda didn't know what vid to edit - happy or sad, i tried to realize what feelings about nick&june i have after this ep.. and despite Eden's death which was really tragic, i'm feeling totally happy. the moment when they gave their baby a name was so pure and bittersweet omg! They were so soft, teary and in love , "a real family". she was so happy he agreed on this name, his opinion is so important to her let me die. Their plans TO BE TOGETHER AND TO RUN AWAY TOGETHER are still in motion. that's a huge development. Started from the bottom, now we're here!
Each time i edit them i pinch myself to remind it's real and we've really been that blessed with this ship wow! after all these years of shipping i finally am feeling as if i won something huge!

that what i felt during the kitchen scene, happy and hopeful, and i wanted to intensify that in my vid so that i could swim in that happiness and pure love.

IrinaRusinova girrrrrl...I’m totally on the same page as you! As traumatic as Eden’s story was, I felt really happy for Nick + June to have that tender moment in the kitchen. We needed that after he was taken away from her and having to go through labor by herself. Their emotions said it all and I felt like we finally get a glimmer of hope in their dreams of Hawaii! I cried this episode, a mix of joy amidst the sadness of their circumstance but later when June reached out to him after Eden’s demise, it cut deeper when he walked away from what I reckon was a combination of guilt and also worry that something similar could happen to both him and June. Urgh...all the feels and layers of emotions in their relationship blows my mind!!! I’m hoping for the finale of season 2 we at least get to see a slice of victory for Nick and June. The #1 thing is to keep Nick alive and then some sort of win for him, June and Holly. Kinda like the end of season 1 when we knew she got out of the Waterford home and Nick told her to go and to trust him (I could live with that ending because I strongly believed he would meet her in season 2, which he did!). Thanks a million for this wonderful video. You capture their relationship the best in all the youtubers I’ve seen and I can’t thank you enough for posting a S2E12 version for us. We all love Nick and June AND Holly so much, I’m so glad we can celebrate and share this together here in our comments. ❤️
p/s: I too was wondering what happened to Nick when he was taken but I guess they didn’t want to dwell too much on that and cut straight to him thanking Fred for sorting it out. To me, as long as Nick is safe and can see June and his baby daughter, that’s the least I could wish for! Now on to next week’s finale where it seems to be set for quite a dramatic episode. I can hardly sleep as it is! Lol

That scene when they fantasized about taking Holly to the beach was so cute. Especially when June said she's gonna try to eat the sand and Nick was like "she is?" and I was like "aww first time dad, so cute". I love him so much.
It's good to hear that you feel so happy and hopeful for them, because I still live in anxiety that Nick will die, or will sacrifice himself for June by staying behind, basically that she will manage to run away and he won't and that they will be separated. My head is full of Nick's tragic ending scenarios. And yes, I totally wanted to know what happened to him too! But I don't want to think about it as a plothole yet, maybe it's just something that they will reveal later?
i'm happy only for now and about this scene. i thought it might be my last chance to make a happy vid with them lmao. i'm always anxious about him, he;s not safe at all and him sacrificing for her and Holly is a very likely scenario. let's hope for the best

My 2nd fav scene. My 1st is when she told him she was pregnant, he kneeled and looked at her with such love. My 3rd is them walking up the stairs from the ambulance. Be still my beating heart. Such a great love story in such a tragic world.
And the bit where Nick then says she won't try and eat the sand cos she's smart just like her mum and the way he looks at June with just so much love!!
Later on there is a small scene where Fred's talking about what happened to Nick and he says that he was kidnapped by over-zealous guards and that he managed "to talk his way out of it" but you're right it should have been explained more fully instead of just leaving everyone wondering what had happened to him.
What happened to him? I know this is late but after watching all the seasons so far I'm not sure what you're referring to 😅 also yeah I totally agree with your comment but I don't think Nick will die, let's have hope for their happy ending 💛

I just have so many emotions rn I can't...ok so first of all, I'm glad you went with the happy/bittersweet version; of course their story is full of angst, but their love for each other is huge. I'm just amazed every time that, despite the horrors that surround them, they're still able to carve out some truly happy moments for them and live in that happy bubble for some time. Incredible. It's what June said - "In this place, I think you have to grab onto love wherever you find it."

That kitchen scene™ OMG!!!! I don't know how many times I've rewatched it...how Nick is laughing on that joke in one moment, then his face fells and goes with "Our baby is so beautiful" I'm crying!!! And his voice cracking at "Like a real family" - part. 😭😭😭 My heart broke for him so many times in this episode!
Nick's so proud of his girls for being smart...and when June asks him if he likes the baby's name 😭 like girl, listen, you could've named her literally ANYTHING and he'd be still the happiest man ever. Because his priority is your happiness.
Anyway, let's appreciate that from S1 ("Nick, you won't tell me anything...") we've come to this point in S2, where Nick is sharing his daydreams with June every time he has the possibility to do so. He's so precious. ❤️
Also, if we won't get the Hawaii scene with Nick and June in the show finale, I'm gonna be pissed. I know, I know...*sigh*
yeah exactly they've come so far even since 2x02! all these dreams of them running away together are melting my heart , they are holding to each other so hard i'm an emotional mess when i watch their beautiful connection.
you got everything right , i wanted to show here that in this fucked up world they are living they have each other and make each other happy inspite of everything horrible that is happening.
i love Nick so much! after this ep even more, seeing him exposing his feelings is precious! this guy doesn't talk much, he values his every word and when he speaks it's always so honest coming deep from his soul.

Oh yeah...Nick is definitely not a talkative guy; and even when he wants to show his feelings is mostly through physical touch, I believe that's his primary love language.
And Max just killed it this episode. Superb acting from him in every single scene - most of all in the kitchen with June, then in the pool with Eden. Amazing.

yeah his performance was so brilliant, i loved the good-bye scene with Eden, he was so soft and desperate to save her and yet you see his body language , he didn't know how to touch her or what to do to help her , it was so pure! i love him (100500x)

Beautiful video as always. I’m actually glad you went with a “happy” one, personally I needed it. That moment where they fantasize about living together as a family was so bittersweet because I REALLY want them to have it. They went through so much shit and I just want them to be happy. Especially Nick. Don’t get me wrong, June has been through hell and surely had it worse than him, but she also had her little victories, like finding out about Luke and Moira and seeing her daughter, and in the latest episode she also got to hold Holly and nurse her. Nick hasn’t really had any so far. On the contrary, he keeps giving everything and all of himself and risking his life again and again, and the only things he got in return have been: being afraid of losing the woman she loves to her former-life family, seeing their daughter -despite being beautiful, alive and well- in the arms of a disgusting man and his wife, and having to live with the guilt for the death of his child-wife, even though he is exactly a victim in all of this just as everyone else. Please give my poor Nick a freaking joy!

Another gorgeous vid! I started tearing up with this one immediately. I think I'm anxious about the finale. But I remain hopeful that Nick will survive the finale and they can get out together. This last episode was another rough one. I hope Nick won't keep blaming himself so harshly. I firmly blame Gilead and the Waterfords for that whole fucked up situation, not Nick.

Omg I keep thinking about the pain nick feels when he's around his baby and has to watch another man hold her like she's his. And he can't even really look at her he always has to stand there eyes on the wall looking straight ahead. Such torture. You could see the pain in his eyes in the church when June looked at him. They both wanted to tear Holly away from him. 😢
To me there are two scenes where my heart breaks for Nick as far as his baby is concerned. The first one is when he helps June up the stairs out of the ambulance (yet again another lovely, poignant scene between the two of them, and the way he looks at her!) after she nearly collapses in the supermarket and Serena starts praying over June's pregnant stomach. Having watched Nick's character and his emotions develop over the series you can tell how angry he's feeling by the way he clenches his jaw and he rubs his hand across his forehead and the second one is after Holly is born and he has to hang up the Waterford family portrait of Fred, Serena and his daughter who was born out of the intense and forbidden love he has for June, a handmaid, and then on top of the undoubted pain he's going through Aunt Lydia then says "she looks just like her father!" How he manages to keep it together in those two separate scenes I've no idea but one thing I will say is Max Minghella's acting is getting better and better as the series progresses and we see the development of Nick's character

okay, i just the ep, this one it's been... hard to find right word. All this enviroment is so fucked up, so wrong. And in in the middle of this awful world there are those three beautiful creatures. Holly, June and Nick. A family who does have no right to be together. it breaks my heart in a million pieces think about all the suffering they are been trough and i want an happy ending for them, they deserve it so bad. And i know, that is not going to happen and that's not fair.

I hate to be maybe my future look forward to being a messenger to Nick and June affair! I think Fred might know and behind Nick's affair with June and there baby Holly ok. Could Fred be Nick's father and seeing to training Nick in to be sure he will be prepared to make sure he is learning to be a Commander soldier and family man by having kids by having several affairs with several handmaids the same time with out others people of Gilead know of which would be very interested but unlikely cause him to end up hanging on the wall!
