Hi Luca, I also have the radioddity GA-510.. mine looks the same except that it has a sticker on the top front that says "Radioddity." Thanks for posting this video. I really enjoyed it. 😊
@SNMSRACING you must have got a lemon then. Every video I have seen of them has been rave reviews. You may have also gotten a pre update version, they had software issues.
"G" as in GMRS. Don't you trust yourself with more than eight channels? Repeaters are not actually hard to program, stepson. Nor Amateur Licenses hard to get. What if I don't have any GMRS repeaters around?
@@w1btr WHY do people buy GMRS radios? They are Amateur sets, with most of the channels locked out. For more money. Do you find it all that difficult to program a repeater into a UV5R? Maybe I'm some kinda genius, but it's not that hard. Wat if there really was an emergency? Your radio is crippled. You cannot talk except on F/GMRS. You'd be at no disadvantage with a radio that fully works!
@@HarryHamsterChannel Oh, I'm not sure. I don't own any myself. The GA-510 is an amatuer radio HT. with VHF & UHF. My preference are part 90 certified ham radios, like the DR-1801UV or the Anytone 779UV.

I realized that after filming. One of my two models had that sticker fallen off. Oh well!
Hey, Excellent review! Could you please do a review on Baofeng BF-H7? This is also 10W radio and i wonder which one is better. Thank you
Can this radio be used on GMRS?
It's not licensed for it but it will work out of the box for GMRS when programmed in.
@@w1btr Thanks. Just ordered it about 30 minutes ago.
How to change language
I've got one. The receive sensitivity is not very good. One of the batteries went bad after three months. Thumbs down from me.
Are you using the provided duckfoot antenna with it? Those antennas are known to be horrible, especially from Boafang
@@hlessiavedon I tried different antennas. Of all my HT's the ga-510 is the least impressive.

True 10w? Rofl😂

Not sure what you're asking exactly, could you restate it?
