To think about what she went through for smuggling cannabis into Indonesia is horrific. I absolutely understand that each country has its own set of laws that must be abided by and respected, but to think about it in comparison to someone like Sterling Free who was just sentenced to 8 years (with possibility of only serving 2 years) for kidnapping a 7 year old and sexually assaulting her, it just seems so wrong and unjust.

Back in 2004, an insider told me that baggie handlers working in Australian domestic terminals were putting cannibis in travellers bags, and taking them out at the next destination, in Schapels case, a superviser was standing by and the baggie handler could not take them out.

A catatonic person doesn't remember not being able to swallow. A catatonic person doesn't remember being fed. She speaks of these events from her perspective, which is curious. She is not an honest woman and she is guilty, in my opinion. She played a long game, but never had the intelligence to pull off real mental illness. I don't trust a word out of her mouth and she loves playing victim. I am not diminishing her personal experiences in that horrid place. She absolutely would of been broken abd depressed. Perhaps she should of thought twice about abiding by their laws. It is pretty clear cut and she paid the price.
That was a really harsh sentence they handed down to her just for freakin weed! In my country, they would probably have let her off with nothing more than a suspended sentence and a criminal record.
I think there are two things we all know and agree on. 1) She and/or a family member was guilty and 2) Her punishment was outrageous and disgusting. If she wants people to leave her alone I suggest this should be her last interview and talk of any reality TV is just crazy.

I lived in Australia when this happened; I know all about the baggage handler who didn't make it to work that day. And how a mate of his confessed to involvement in the incident. I can honestly say that in my lifetime, I've never seen the media turn against anyone the way the Australian media turned against Schapelle. It was so brutal and so unjust and I'll always support her .
Give her a chance at life again. She did her time, she deserves happiness. People have done alot worse than what she was accused of.

That was a really harsh sentence they handed down to her just for freakin weed! In my country, they would probably have let her off with nothing more than a suspended sentence and a criminal record.

I think there are two things we all know and agree on. 1) She and/or a family member was guilty and 2) Her punishment was outrageous and disgusting. If she wants people to leave her alone I suggest this should be her last interview and talk of any reality TV is just crazy.
I have always believed she was innocent. The law that says she can't profit from her books and interviews is unjust.

Shapelle is very blessed to have such a supportive family.I get the feeling that she Only feels real when she is able to explain what has happened to her, and off camera I bet she feels so disconnected and trying to somehow be someone else than the self she endured. She isnt faking her mental illness, she is battling it and trying to create a persona, which she isn't even sure about. God bless you, dear girl. You have a beautiful voice and I think your song would be a great way to release you and give back to all who have supported you. and for those who need strength with their own suffering, and to build awareness of how much injustice there is in the world. xxx

I lived in Australia when this happened; I know all about the baggage handler who didn't make it to work that day. And how a mate of his confessed to involvement in the incident. Why would a complete stranger claim to be involved? He was a convicted felon and had nothing to lose but nevertheless he was not related to this woman or her family.
