7- Leaf Clover: Beginner/Intermediate Frame Drum Rhythm with Marla Leigh
Happy 2023 from Frame Drum Academy ☘️ ☘️ ☘️
In honor of this year, I created this video for you? 2023 is the year of 7 (2 +2 +3=7)
This in-depth training video includes: some basic frame drum techniques in the upright style, a practice rhythm and my “7-Leaf Clover” rhythm (with 2 variations)
You thought 4-leaf clovers were lucky… 7-leaf clovers are even luckier!
DRUM TIPS:
Beginners: ☘️
Please go at your own pace, start by being able to hold the drum and play the basic strokes.
After that, I recommend learning the basic 7-Leaf Clover rhythm and playing it at a slow tempo.
Intermediate Players: ☘️
You can skip the intro where I offer some technique lessons..
I recommend that you work with the THREE rhythms for the "7-Leaf Clover" (basic, variation 1 and variation 2) and be able to play them easily at a faster tempos..
Most importantly, ENJOY the process.
Set an intention for the new year, or whenever you are watching this, and drum out your prayers!
