Into the Atmosphere ❤
I honestly think the winner should sing partly in Icelandic and English, that'd be so iconic ❤
wow iceland is really into dance music!! i enjoyed hearing these though i dont have a definite favorite
I Think we have at last a good selection : Blankiflur is SUPER !!!!! Hera Bjork outdated. Sigga Osk, Maiaa and Vaeb are simply ok
Meni je najbolja Sigga Ozk! Molim vas izaberite nju! 💚💛💙🌹💋💘🎁❄️🎋🌲🔆🪭🎈🕊️
Blankiflúr my favorite 🌟
Ouh I don't know if Iceland will qualify with that
ANITA SLAYED IN BOTH LANGUAGES SO HARD
Sigga should represent Iceland.
Væb and Anita the best
Vaeb is my winner.
Sunny is also a bop
Anita is futuristic bop
Hera is decent too
Sigga Ozk is a meme alreqdy with her go tiffany
But i prefer all in icelandic, in English theyre all so mid
Thxx❤
Glad to see Iceland is all about the electronic dance music this year... As it is most years which is why I'm always a fan even if they rarely make the final!
Will try to listen to full versions to give them a chance. But right now it's giving me generic unfortunately. 😪
SIGGA is my favorite, but do like her Icelandic version better!
Sigga is still the best
Her song is ok, it’s just a little basic and outdated. Sounds like 2018
@@ni2nico
Well, I am a bit of a sucker from that retro sound
go tiffany vs. good energy
Wild West isn't bad, per se, but it could be stronger.
This is coming someone all the hype for one of the rare non-Icelandic Söngvakeppnin participants (and probably something else), which I'm still glad happened regardless of result.
Thank god SUNNY did not opt for an English version, the Icelandic one is flawless.

GO TIFFANY!!!
Hera Björk (🇮🇸 2010) is my winner and she will come back to the Eurovision for 14 years!
Exactly!
she might withdraw if she wins though since she supports the boycott
Her song is one of the weakest though
@@mirroroffthewall5932 you just misspelled Bud Light as boycott and try again
most of these are so much better in Icelandic. I wish they would stick to their own language :(
Also, so many of these songs are a similar style and blend together. So even if you hate Bashar's song, you have to admit it stands out a lot in this lineup.
So we have MIIA and MAIAA
Even in a vacuum, Wild West would be my third (behind Ireland and Slovenia) - I think it should win not even for political reasons, but because it actually stands out
The point is that "Wild west" will win anyway. It doesn't matter at all whether it's the best or the worst song / performance / voice, it doesn't matter whether it's the second best or the number nine, it doesn't matter whether it's the third best or the number eight, it doesn't matter whether it's the fourth best or the number seven, it doesn't matter whether it's the fifth best or the number six, it doesn't matter whether it's Your personal favorite or number three or whatever. "Wild west" will win Söngvakeppnin 2024 anyway for reasons that have nothing to do with music. That's the point of criticism.
@@joshlevicq6823 And you already know it because...? Let the Icelandic people pick what they want. If they feel like this is the best song, and they want to send a Palestinian guy, let them. You do not need to like it, or vote for it in the semi, or whatever. This is for the Icelandic people to decide, not you.
That being said, the Icelandic preselections are super weak this year, they will struggle to qualify no matter the song they choose. Just a big blob of generic synth-pop/EDM half-cooked demos. Bashar Murad sticks out, but mostly because his is a decent song that is the only one in a completely different genre.
I listened to all the songs on the official Söngvakeppnin playlist and beside his, I could only stand to listen to the end Blankiflur's and CeaseTone's songs. Everything else bored me to death. But then after the playlist Spotify played Dilja's Say My Name and I was like 'wait, this is actually million times better than anything in the preselections' - which actually tells you everything about this year's choice. If they don't bring revamps and extraordinary staging to elevate the songs, Iceland is not qualifying this year.
Thank you very much for the video ♥
My top 10:
1. VÆB - Bíómynd
2. Heiðrún Anna - Þjakaður af ást
3. ANITA - Stingum af
4. Blankiflúr - Sjá þig
5. Bashar Murad - Vestrið villt
6. Sunny - Fiðrildi
7. Sigga Ózk - Um allan alheiminn
8. Hera - Við förum hærra
9. MAIAA - Fljúga burt
10. CeaseTone - RÓ
I wish more artists kept their song in icelandic 😔
I believe they have to have English versions as part of the rules. Some of them probably plan on using the icelandic version
@@han-oq6bo there's no rule about English versions. The only rule is that they have to sing in Icelandic in the semifinals. If they have an English version, it's because they want the song to be in English for the finals but sometimes they change their mind and stick with Icelandic
Blankifur !!!!!!!!!
SIGGA! She was robbed last year!
Iceland, please choose Maiaa ⭐️
If Bashar wants to win, he as to sing in Icelandic and Arabic. But seriously not good enough
The Icelandic versions are all so much better
HEJA BJORK BASHA MURAD AND ANITTA AS DUO FOR ICELAND 🇮🇸 😭 😭 😭 PLEASE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Maiaa for the win ❤
Blankiflur and Anita ❤ they are both best
I don't know if it is because of my earphones, or because these are the studio versions, but by far, Iceland is givin the best national selection overall. All the songs sounds amazing.
Where sunny
ua-cam.com/video/F8UmTtcDShM/v-deo.htmlsi=qtdnM5HJ-uAqXJNw
I'm here 😂❤ I will sing icelandic
😺
Sigga!!!
Not a winner song in here... I actually think non of these will qualify for the final. So how is Iceland first in the odds? WTF
i want go tiffany
The song of Bashar is completely generic from beginning to end, if this is the song that will win the festival in Iceland and then the Eurovision only because of political considerations, the Eurovision contest will go to hell, it will not survive two political wins in two years
Time’a up Iceland. Now you may go back in the middle of betting odds.
Anita for the win 🤩
Downfall 💙
They want to bluff about withdrawing and then give us the worst national final of the year 💀💀💀
What ?? It's worst ?? Euh no bro it's a very good selection but if Bashar win, it was Bad.
worst? BJORK IS THE BEST ARTIST, FRIEND
@@Bracia2498 Hera Bjork of course ! Also Sigga Ozk, Maiia, Anita ❤️
Listen to Latvia and then get back to me on the worst nf of the year
I like some songs here, can’t say the same about Norway…
Wild West really wasn't as bad as some people said it was. Actually getting Portugal vibes from it and that's really cool!
💎 My personal favorite is the Icelandic version of Sigga Ózk's song (bilingual might be cool, too).
Such a shame that Söngvakeppnin 2024 is just a farce that has nothing to do with music ... 😲😾
BASHARRR THIS SOUNDS GREAT❤
My winner is Bashar Murad but I don't want Israel to leave the contest or Iceland
the best is Hera again, hope Iceland doesn't make a sht choosing just for political reasons
As a swede: I dont want the arab one too win because the song is really boring and bad. He is just in because Iceland has decided they dont like jews this month. In May Iceland loves jews again. TRUST me on that. This is just a stupid stunt and it will back fire HARD
I agree
And there goes the person saying that not justifying the horrors committed by Israel is “hating jews”.
Seek mental health. Who tf says he hates Jews? Stop being antisemitic. Enough Jews dont support Israel.
@@escotiyaotl8869 Its alled Hamas. Palestine voted for them and you know they behead lgbt people so what are you defending?
"The arab one" 🤨
