Install a Kitchen Faucet (Moen, Adler)
This is a simple tutorial on how to install a kitchen faucet. In this video we install a Moen Adler kitchen faucet. The Moen Adler is one of the simplest faucets to install. It is also one of the cheapest name brand kitchen faucets. Moen backs their products with a lifetime warranty on parts. So, I highly recommend Moen faucets. I use them in all of my rental units. This faucet can be install in a single hole or a 3 hole configuration. with the forth hole being for the faucet sprayer.

Thank you! I'm a 71 year old woman and I just followed your instructions and replaced an old leaky faucet with the one you used in this demo. It was hard to get the old one off and I had to cut a water line and scrape out the hole to make it big enough for the new faucet, but I did it. My brother in law is a plumber and he stopped by after I finished to check it out - and he gave me a thumbs up. You really helped me out here. Thank you. And by the way, that is a REALLY nice faucet - well worth the money.
Nice work! I love hearing the success stories.
Yeah, often times the hardest part is removing the old one. They can be pretty stuck on there.
These faucets are great. It should last you a very long time. Well done 👍🏻
I just installed this faucet. This video saved me a great deal of time!! Thank you so so much Rosco!!!
Glad I could help! I love hearing the success stories 🤗
Thank you for your detailed video!
I’m a plumbing helping my lady with her kitchen sink. I’ve done 250+ kitchen sinks with a Moen quick connect but I have NEVER seen one so deep into the faucet.
Thank you for saving me a headache
You’re welcome! Happy to help :)
I can’t believe how easy it was! I replaced a relatives old leaking faucet today and looked like a super hero. I couldn’t have done it, without you. Thank you for the video!
That’s awesome! I love to hear the success stories. Nice work!
Thank you so much. Just doing my research before I go to Home Depot to buy a new kitchen faucet.
These are easy to instal, and moen is a great brand.
Thank you so much for your video. I have replaced faucet before my ex husband used to take care of home repairs. With this video I was able to. Hardest part was removing the old one. 😊
Sorry meant to write never replaced a faucet
Awesome! love hearing the success stories!! Yeah, often the hardest part is getting the old one off. they can get pretty rusted on there. Nice work 😄
good Lord, this did help me, thank you. My biggest challenge spent hours trying to remove a plastic fastener from under the sink...it was there for 20 years and didn't want to give. I went so far as got hammer & blow torch. I ended up using a pry bar from the top and demolished it.
I've been there too! I have had to cut them off from the top before. Sometimes those old ones are so corroded on there they just won't come off. installing the new one is often easier than removing the old one.
I have installed quite a few faucets in my day. And this one definitely seems easier than the old ones. The pre connected supply lines are fantastic!
This is the easiest one I have ever had to do. My favorite part is the single nut they screws the faucet to the sink.
Hey Roscoe, great video! I now have a brand new faucet with sprayer that I installed with your help. Thanks, man!
Awesome! Nice work. Always love hearing the success stories!!
Thanks, helped me install my Moen Adler faucet without much difficulty. Mine only had a slight change as the sprayer was a part of the three hole base.
Nice! Its a quality product, Should last you many years.
I just bought this before I came to your channel. Easiest install ever. I have the one with the metal nut, not the plastic one. Same thing, easy install. The side spray is powerful.
I like these faucets. I use them in all of my rental units.
Thank you very much. You saved me!
Glad I could help!
Thank you man, that was really helpful 👍
Awesome. Really happy I could help! 😊
This was amazingly helpful. Took me 2 1/2 hours last night to take out the old unit, mostly because of antiquated clips and corroded attachments. Thanks in part to your video (of the exact unit I bought), installing this new one too less than a half hour. Thanks! :)
Awesome! Love hearing the success stories. Thank you for the kind words!
Good job.
Thank you 😊
Very helpful
Thank you! 😊
A beginner would also need to know how to remove the old faucet.
Sure enough. But don’t worry, I’ve got you!

Okay so I noticed that whenever you open and close the handle on the faucet, the whole faucet moves, it was driving me crazy but now that I saw your video and the same thing occurred, I feel better
Yeah, with some stainless steel sinks that happens. The sink flexes. If it bothers you, you could try to support it underneath with a 2x4.
My copper water lines run right up into the bottom of the faucet I can't loosen them. What would I need to do?
It’s hard to say without looking at it.
If their are no shutoff valves to remove the supply lines from… then you may need to cut the lines and install shutoff valves under the sink.
How do I remove the sprayer clipped on part 😊
You should be able to pinch the tabs in (by hand) and pul it out. Might have to wiggle it a little bit.
I've been trying to install one of these. For some odd reason, the nut is stuck and I'm not able to get it to loosen at all. Any tips?
Hmm. It’s thought to say. If you have it like halfway on and it’s stuck then it is probably cross threaded. If that’s the case, then I think the only way to correct it would be to force it to unscrew (May take a wrench or some pliers) then try it again.
Okay, so I have this exact sink faucet and I wanna upgrade my sprayer because the sprayer that comes with it broke but in order to do that I need to find some sort of adapter. Do you have any ideas of what I could use?
You should be able to replace just the handle with a universal one. You probably have to reuse the hose unless you go with the exact Moen replacement.
To replace the handle, you unscrew the handle part. Then there is a little clip to pull off, this will allow the bottom threaded part to slide off.
Replace everything with the new one in reverse order.
I don’t have a video up for this or I would share it… but I should make one! Thanks for the idea. :)
Yeah, the problem is the connector that connects to the Fossett is a certain kind and they don’t make an adapter for that one. At least not that I can find and I’ve had a heck of a time trying to find an adapter but I do have a universal one, I’m gonna end up splicing two houses together which I didn’t want to do. I’m very frustrated right now but the hose that I bought which was a nice nylon one around the hose I can’t connect it because the way this faucet is made and the sprayer it doesn’t work. You can’t do doctors you can’t do nothing. I’ve even contacted the company and nothing very frustrated at this point. Sorry, talk to text
I’ve never tried to look for an adapter. Whenever I have needed to replace a sprayer I just reuse the existing hose and put a new head on it.
I’ve had one of these for years and now I’m getting water under the sink from time to time and I see wetness at the part coming down through the hole, the part the hoses go into, is wet, how do I figure out the source of the leak if I never see it drip? Could it be water splashed above in the faucet flange area is leaking through the seals and down, or would water inside the handle is leaking down? Or something else? Again, I see the area under the sink the hoses go up into the faucet is wet. When I run water I don’t see it getting any wetter though.
The most common leak in a kitchen faucet is the o-rings where the neck swivels. They are pretty easy to replace and really inexpensive. That is where I would start. And it’s my most popular video. lol. Here is how to replace the o-rings:
Kitchen Faucet Leaks at the base. Easy Fix!
ua-cam.com/video/dyx5VgsVM6A/v-deo.html
Hi. Thank you for video.
But during leak tests I figured out that when I put water on the base, where rotating part is attached to base, the water leaks under the sink. I checked and I found a plastic o-ring there, which does not protect from leacking there. Any suggestion how to fix it please?
If it is leaking around the base than you can caulk under the base. If it’s between the base and the neck, you shouldn’t have much water hitting that area. I’ve never needed to seal that before. I’m not sure if you can without affecting the swiveling.
What if you just need to change the sprayer it has that black clip on
hose how to get hose out.
The black clip has two little arms. Pull them into the hose and then the hose can be pulled out. You may need to wiggle it around a bit to get it out.
Out of curiosity, the black plastic nut that pulls the faucet down onto the sink is threaded closer to one end than the other. Does it matter which way it goes on? Thank you.
It doesn’t matter. I think they do that so if you are putting it on a stainless steel sink (this is very thin) you can use the side that is wider. That way you don’t have to spin it so many times. But, if you have a granite countertop with an under mount sink (this can be 1.5” think or so) you can use the side that is close to the thread.
It just makes it so you don’t have to screw it down so much on a thinner sink.
