the industry didn't hate her nose, she was modelling for Chanel with that nose and was booking all the most prestigious runways with it. Kimora decided to get a nose job after being famous already. I don't understand why she didn't like her nose, she's gorgeous.

Older gal here! Kimora was the bomb in the fashion world back in the 90’s. I didn’t know about her upbringing, nor about relationship troubles, only that she was married to Simmons and he was much older. But I do remember well how cool and famous Baby Phat was and my sisters and I try to get her bags! Lol! She was and I believe still is a very professional business woman, focus and family oriented. She didn’t let the lights, glamour, party and drugs take the best of her like many models do. I wish she continues to stand tall and get her brand back in the market bc it was fantastic! She is truly talented, not just a pretty face and she knows that❤
Wow, I work with her older brother Vernon III. Its crazy how much they look alike when Kimora was younger. Her family is super proud of her. I’m glad she’s getting her flowers now because no matter what SIS IS A BOSS AND INSPIRATION 💛

I grew up watching life in the fast lane and I wished I could be her daughters when I was little. I thought it looked so cool to be them. Now I read in the news about Russell Simmons and he sounds exactly like my dad. We think he’s gotten early dementia or something but the way her daughters have talked about their dad, it reminds me sooo much of my own father
Aoki said in her instagram story that she thinks he has early dementia too or that his mental health is at a really low place right now, Just because he randomly started acting aggressively towards them. I love Kimora but I think she’s taking up for her shady ex Tim in some way and Russell is convinced they stole money from him, so he’s probably paranoid that they stole even more money from him. I just hate he involved their daughters in their disputes.

I had shown my mom the news about what they said he was saying, and my mom said “yeah that sounds pretty much just how your dad has been.” Just turning into a mean and rude person and he has an undiagnosed mental condition but also early onset dementia. But I didn’t know that about Kimora and her ex. Interesting. I wonder what the situation is truly.

I’m 5’10” as well. I was the tallest, skinniest girl in my class in elementary school. In high school I wasn’t tallest, but I was the skinniest, and yes through it all, kids were CRUEL. I think that’s one of the reasons why I fell in love with the fashion/modeling industry. Girls “like me” were accepted.

If I’m not mistaking Cynthia Bailey and Veronica Webb(who was Kimora’s bridesmaid) dated Russell Simmons too. But I’m so glad you did Kimora she’s such a St. Louis gem. Now that I’ve seen her old videos and pictures I realized aoki is really her twin. I think ming took on more of her grandmother’s genes. I wish them well , and I hope Russell could get it together so he could have a relationship with his daughters, I could see how much it affected aoki when she was bawling on ig. She did say that her parents were best friends and he was that hands on dad until the allegations started which was also around the time Kimora divorced Tim.

We have plus plus size models , models of all shapes sizes and " "color" back in the 90s Thay where shoveling coke down your nose 👃 everyday when you came in you were you are measured to make sure you didn't gain an inch, and so many models lie especially Cindy Crawford the Naomi Campbell they don't tell the truth and I know that they slept with photographers especially a certain French photographer this pig would come into your room while you were asleep and molest you, I'm crying thinking about some of the memories there were bittersweet, the tell me ladies why would a woman need to be 5 ft 10 to sell mascara or lipstick 💄 Tumi modeling is like a perverted Junior high when you're pulling harassed if you want to be in you got to do things that you don't want to do in the very few girls that don't have a parent that goes with them everywhere, and even then it still happened twosome. From the outside, it seems that Russell never denied Kimora, their kids, nor hers, money. The fact that this started with the loss of his shares is the foundation of their downfall as friends & coparents. That's why I believe she stole from him on her husband's behalf. If this is true, like i believe it is. She's wrong for that and should give him back his money back. The girls are siding with her because they're mad that he's no longer obligated to support them financially. Considering the circumstances, it's wrong to do someone like that when they've been nothing but good to u.

He didn't become a monster until he sued her for stealing. And there's no audio on the phone call, so WE don't know what transpired, nor do WE the circumstances surrounding it.
