i was there and I saw how RC opened a can of whoop ass on Everts and everybody else. Everts was on home ground on a 450, a superior mx bike to a 250 two stroke and he had nothing for RC. No contest. RC is the best ever. Period! It was like cat playing with a mouse. Full respect to Everts but he had nothing for RC. I still got my RC autographed jersey from that day...
There was a race where Carmichael and McGrath were on the track at the same time. The rest of the field may as well have not been there. Carmichael and McGrath were back and forth the whole time. 3rd place was almost lapped by them.
First off thanks for posting this great race video, what great tracks u guys have totally jealous we have great tracks to but GP track tend to throw in some enduro type section which is that natural terrain stuff that Americans forget about....piece out...and thanks, gratzi gratzi...
rc is really really very fast. Pay attention of everts rinaldi YZF accelerations, I have read about this special bike made for everts, this bike is just extraordinary fast even for nowdays competitions, you cannot imagine (holeshot),if I believe what I read about this yzf, the testing said that the power of this bike is so amazing that you can find your limit. the regularity of rc high speed was the key the beat anything even against stewart best lap time when they use to fight
I can not see anyone get close to a 16-18 year old 125 rider that was simply head and shoulders above anyone else, more or less (was it....all races finshed for say....2 years, that he won? ). There are more titles and bl bla, but we all kknow who the most dominant rider in MX so far is. Arguably to some. When it comes to racing a 2 stroke...there is nothing to argue on. What country? Makes no sense. Stewart will not be forgotten, just check the # hits of 15 year old races where he made legends look like they were novices. To me thats apparent.
MXDN is a team race and Belgium won, no need to compare 2 riders in 1 race on 1 track in only 1 day ! In England it was another story and Everts won vs Stewart but Belgium lost in overall, that's MXDN !
BPhDesigns , you can Stewart not compare with RC. Stewart is just out of control the most time and ride over his limits. RC on the other hand rides the same or better speed but always in control and with his brain on, thats why RC is the GOAT. Just look at the amazing riding style from RC in this video against the boring Grandfather style from everts tells the real story!
well you have to go back to the 2006 championship when RC started crying because they took points away from him for using ilegal fuel. and got his points back, and reed and some other riders got penalized. so yeah maybe not in paper.. but we all know what happend.
Tim Ferry was no slouch, and Ryan Hughes was a 125 champ. Maybe they weren't riding that well for MXdN, but both support riders for RC were great riders.
Bryan Hensley That would fit a comfortable narrative for you if that were true. Because how could a black dude ever be as good as a white dude in motocross, right?
football inmysoul If your screen name was "moto-x inmysoul" your comment might be more credible. We're not talking aggregated career results, we're talking sheer speed. It was Stewart who showed us where the limit was on a dirt bike. Cheers!

i raced here in the usa and i agree .. the outdoor mx here is turning more and more into supercross/arena cross.

Ricky is the fastest ever!!!

GOAT
Team race Yes, but one thing was clear RC was the best of the best, stefan best of Europe, But RC is a different beast
the fastest 2 stroke rider ever is James the Bubba Stewart..
WILLY MANSILLA dream on buddy. Ricky didn't quit while being a loser. James enjoyed drugs too much.
lol, we all know rc didnt had really to much competition, it took him 2 years to beat Mcgrath, james came up firing smoking 4 stroke
James never beat Ricky in any championship.
Not the day this race was held lol.

James was fast... it's just a shame he couldn't keep it on his two wheels!
Yep
Doogie Houser at the beginning!!!
Rc just plane 2 smoking...👍
RC had no help that year.
Tim Ferry was no slouch, and Ryan Hughes was a 125 champ. Maybe they weren't riding that well for MXdN, but both support riders for RC were great riders.
by the way rc can handle 64hp (in less) 2stroke all along...
usa is the real world champ and rc prove it
Ricky beats Everts 450, on a 250 two stroke lol he's the best in the world.he had no backing from his team mates.
The 250's almost always beat the 450's through 2006
JP Vehviläinen the best!
Antechocranzhel bertuzan ek avec key avec ann ala pisine eltorhay vonn shintzel bonn bonn crepe duetz vanbiezel mon cheez pupu dew.
James Bubba Stewart is the fastest. just for the record.
Jamin Clardy your records are wrong. James turned into a drug addict.
Bryan Hensley

Except for when Carmichael raced him, lol.
Sorry but fastest rider was Bubba..😉😉😉😉
No ;)
football inmysoul yeppppp!! 👋
football inmysoul YES!
Carmichael beat Stewart straight up in Motocross almost every race until he retired in 2007 so no ;)
