In this latest video on Crypterra, I cover the recent technical glitches that caused their website to go offline for over 24 hours. Just what happened? Crypterra needed a better way of allowing their customers to withdraw their funds since so many transactions got stuck in their "processing mode". They needed to design a whole new withdrawal engine, thus they had a lot of technical work to do. Apparently, they also moved servers or at least took their servers offline while these critical fixes had to be implemented. After Crypterra came back live again (January 26, 2018) the website looked exactly the same as before but the tech guys made several under-the-hood changes. Crypterra added a new security feature where you now need to add a 6-digit pin number to withdraw your funds. While this is not the same as 2FA, it is a positive step in the right direction. Also, another significant change is that the minimum withdrawal amount went from $10 to $50 worth of Cryptocurrency. Having a higher minimum payout is actually a very good thing because a higher minimum withdrawal will result in faster transactions for everyone.
Here are some things we are looking to see in the near future from Crypterra: A custom, bespoke website, 2FA authentication, a support ticket system that actually works, and pictures and videos of their new mining data center.

Don't invest in this mining operation at this time. They have cancelled all withdraws that were pending, stopped mining operations, and now have put a block on all withdraws for 10 days. Let this company prove they are legit by allowing for withdraws again and starts mining operations again.
cuz many of the withdrawals was 10 usd or similar- u just have to wait for the 50 limit to be able to get it, nothing unusual about that, they have the right to manage their business

Actually, the PIN *is* 2 factor authentication. 2fa means 2 security credentials. In this case password + PIN. Not all 2fa are rolling expiring PINs like Google Authenticator or Authy.
Bear in mind, password + text message or password + security question would also be considered 2fa. People are so spoiled by Google Authenticator that they don't realize Google hasn't always existed.
Icarus, great point! Yes, this pin feature is actually 2FA. I was referring to a Google Authenticator type of 2FA which, as you accurately say, has spoiled all of us.

Ahh, that's the adult response akin to "Lies! Prove there aren't fairies at the bottom of the lake! Unless you have hard evidence there is no hard proof!" Get real. They're offering just under 1.5% per day in returns. BitConnect had a ICO to raise a money supply to keep their ponzi going, and they just crashed even though they were offering much less.
This is why we have Occam's Razor. Based on the math, with reinvesting Crypterra is offering roughly a 17713% annual interest rate. Which do you think is more likely: you put $1000 in and two years later you're the lucky owner of $31,730,296.90, or that they exit scam and you're left with $0? I mean fuck, even the damn Polka King only offered 12% annually, and his ponzi still crashed like all the others.

Real legit cloud mining can't offer such hashpower discounts even If they're located in Iceland (e.g.: Genesis Mining) or in Estonia (HashFlare) which are known to be among the most convenient locations in terms of energy costs etc.

Robert, deep down you know this is a ponzi. Stop pushing your referal link as many newbies are getting dragged into a company with zero transparency! This will end badly and many people will lose their hard earned money.
Crypto Naeem, a glass 50% filled will always be half full to some and half empty to others. Robert is a good educator and even a better salesman. He doesn't just promote bitcoin-related products or services. He aslo makes videos to point out scams, you can see those when you go to his page. I defend him because he offered to help me when I needed help and I think he fully deserves the affiliate commission from my purchases.
@Cryto Naeem Some people are just too gullible. They need to lose money to convince them that in the crypto world you have be very suspicious and companies need to earn your trust and not the other way around.
Great video as always Robert. You cannot withdraw at all without setting up the pin and the February 5th date is pretty ridiculous seeing how they scared the crap out of everyone for being down as long as they were. No payments have gone out for a few days now and now absolutely no one can withdraw until February 5th. If they make it past that day without exit scamming I'd trust them a ton more. I respect your opinion but I think they easily could be increasing communication and add the pin simply to collect more money (especially since they have the crazy Xmas sale for a few more days ) just to walk away with more money shortly after the sale ends and before they have to pay out anyone anymore money. I hope I am wrong for all of our sake.
Paco me too man me too, i see that pattern aswell. Also larger withdrawal will force smaller customers to wait longer or upgrade for earlier payouts. I’m still hopeful.
Current problems with Crypterra:
1. Invalid SSL warns away new customers
2. 10 day wait to withdraw due to mandatory PIN
3. Cancelled pending withdraws meaning those must wait 10 days as well. Also no actual payouts for a week so far, already.
4. Some people missing hash
5. Referral program stuck @ 15% no matter what level you achieve. Also you only get referral bonus on your referral's first purchase, extra purchases show hash in the numbers but don't actually earn more.
6. No reinvest, so Xmas coupons will expire before next payout
Hey Icarus, good to hear from you. Yes, Crypterra is a mess right now. I think that they are slowly starting to address these issues. The fact that they added a PIN number security feature is good but not being able to get our money for 10 days is bad. As for the SSL certificate issue, it's not something that I have experienced. Maybe it's because I am on a Mac using Chrome? I think that all Crypterra needs to do is to start paying people 10 days from now. When that happens I think all will be forgiven for most people.
CryptoRobert The SSL certificate is cached in your browser if you visited the site before the certificate was revoked. New people will see a warning page saying the site is not trustworthy and to not share any financial details or personal information.
They must click "advanced" to get to the red exclamation marked "proceed anyway at your own risk" page.
It's an easy fix for Crypterra. SSL certificates are free. All they need to do is copy/paste a block of text into their cpanel and they are done. It takes less than 60 seconds to fix.

That might be the case with their old SSL being cached in my browser. Yes, fixing the SSL certificate is a no brainer for most web hosts. I think that they actually switched hosting providers when the website went down, or they might have switched from a shared hosting account to managing their own dedicated server. At any rate, they really need to fix their SSL issue ASAP to avoid turning potential customers away.
CryptoRobert The hosting provider doesn't fix this. It is in the customers cpanel. Crypterra would need to do it.
Robert, how is Crypterra back? Their site does not have SSL certificate and people can't get in. So how is this site back?? Also you didn't talk anything about withdrawals that have been in "processing" state for at least 7 days. Still you cheer site is back. Nothing has changed to give any justification for your statement "Crypterra is Back from the Dead and Better Than Ever!".
Crypterra used to be better, when they at least paid something when one made withdrawal. Now they are just keeping our money and making new ways to play time, like this Pin thing etc.
Also Crypterra mining is not running as people have same amount of BTC mined now like they had several days ago. There is nothing to cheer about Robert.

They did not plagiarize anyone's website. They simply bought an HTML template from Themeforest.com. I would accuse them of being lazy and looking for an easy shortcut to designing a website but I would not call that plagiarism per se.
If we buy ethereum contract now, it is a two years contract and if ethereum changed to proof of stake what will happen to contract ?
Truthfully, I really do not know how Crypterra will handle the impact of Ethereum staking. It's possible that they might switch your contracts to another coin like Litecoin or Monero. I am totally uncertain about that however.

I am tempted to go for that Xmas sale option and buy one of the offer but worried that website may not last long get investments back, should I start on low end and see how it goes ?

They are back in the sense that they are now live again and not down. The support feature is still down but this is something that they are working on fixing. The withdrawals will be enabled again for most customers by February 5th after we enabled the new security pin feature. Crypterra has a long way to go in addressing a lot of issues so I can understand your frustration.

I was pretty upset with Crypterra because they "lost" my hashpower (1940 $ in value). But today I have made two, new, payments: one in litecoin, one in bitcoin. Well, they were pretty fast in processing the hashpower for the new payments. So, looks like it is VERY important to sent the exact amount to them, even 0.00000001 ltc or btc makes the difference.
I am still waiting for them to process manual my first hashpower, but a little part of the blame is on me, for not paying attention to that 0.00000001 LTC ...
The sad part is that my mistake I have made was 15 days ago and I am still waiting for that haspower.

Their contract for 2600 h/s is a fraction of CCG. Don’t know what to do now. I know you can never be 100% certain, but would you advise me investing in Crypterra and buying this contract?
David, if you are new to this mining space, then I would hold off on investing in Crypterra until after February 5th, which is the earliest date that I will be able to confirm a payment from Crypterra. Once I can confirm a few payments from Crypterra I will update everyone in a new video.

How do you feel about Crypterra now that they have been down for 3 days without a status report? What legit company does that? Has anyone been able to attach names or faces to Crypterra..?? Whether it is a scam or simply growing pains, there's something wrong with this company and how they do business. I would remove your referral code and urge people to stay away until they showed who they are and legitimately stabilized.
Well, at the moment I can't feel very good about Crypterra because their website has been down for a few days now. I can't imagine why they would need all of this time to fix their SSL issue. Talk about incompetence! As for urging people to stay away, that is already self evident because you can't even reach their website. The same does for my referral code, no one can use it now anyway. Let's see if Crypterra can redeem themselves over the next few days. At this point, my hope is starting to diminish.

Robert, It's probably about time for an update video about crypterra and when -if ever- customers will be able to fully access their accounts. Crypterra has a responsibility towards their customers to at least provide a "target or expected" date to access their accounts and to perform withdrawals if they desire to.

Yes, you will get them because the pending withdrawals have been canceled but added to your balance. Once the 10 day security penalty is over you should be able to withdraw your funds.
How is the payment withdrawal coming along? Are you having any problems considering that you probably can reach the minimum amount. Because I know usually most people that do complain can't reach the new minimum or haven't been patient.
I will not be able to withdraw until February 5th because of the new security pin lockout. Once I can get my money out I will let everyone know.

So I want to take advantage of crypterra low prices if they continue with good business practices and before they become to populated. Ending in the result of demand over powering supply. At the moment Crypterra is beset by some technical glitches. I am sure that they will be back soon. If you follow Crypterra on Twitter you would have noticed that they posted a message about doing some "technical works" in advance of the site going off line.

Coin Piggy, I do not know of anyone who has tried withdraw without the pin yet. I do not think that this is possible. Also, if you have your purchase today and choose a 6-digit pin number it would seem that you will not be able to withdraw anything for 10 days. Once you choose your 6-digit pin number try not to forget it. LOL
much appreciate on getting back pretty quickly. nah I purchased my hashrate a few days ago. So, it seems one has to set up the security pin sooner or later without any other option. Crypto, if they were going to exit scam they would have been long gone by now. My gut is telling me that, while they are completely incompetent as business people, that they are still a mining operation. If they are a scam then why the Twitter dance? So far their Twitter updates have been truthful about their technical issues.
Sorry Robert, but Crypterra smells like a scam, I bought the BTC, LTC, and ETH XMAS hash rate specials, on 1/20/2018 I withdraw from all 3 contracts after a week of mining, a total of $1,300 but the all 3 have not completed and I've been waiting over 4 days for support to work on my ticket. Now you tell me that after setting a pin I have to wait 10 more days to withdraw after the site was down for two days, this is ridiculous! They should have warn users before asking to set that pin. There's no logical reason to hold people's mining funds for 10 days just for setting a pin, I'm sure that's a breach of contract. This stinks bad, I have 6 pending withdraw, funds I can't get for 10 day, and my mining balance is missing 2 days worth of mining. And to make matters worse, the support portal doesn't work so I can't even contact support for help, if they exist. With all due respect, I don't think you can spot a scam and you shouldn't speak so highly about a so called company that is questionable things. Think hard people, this is smelling like a ponzi scheme, holding on to people's payments smells like a Madoff special, payments need to be predicable and reliable, I'm not compromising on that.

If I were running a scam I would try and extend it as long as possible by giving mug punters false info and make them jump through tons of hoops like the PIN delay. I believe you can find evidence on youtube about people knowing Bitconnect was closing as early as October. Sound familiar?
Good job Robert, just one question. Why is it that Crypterra is not charging any mining fees, but payouts are lower than hashflare, even with mining fees deducted. And yes I am mining same pools. So in my opinion, yes they are cheaper per TH and yes they give you 2 year contract. But the pay 40 cent per TH less. Even though they say they don't charge mining fees. Please let me know what your take on this is.
Eric, very good observation. There could be a number of factors as to why the TH rate is 40 cents less per TH. The first reason that comes to mind is the usage of older mining equipment. If they are not using the most cutting edge chips and processors, payouts per TH will be lower then miners using new equipment. The other reason that payouts are less per TH is that Crypterra might be skimming more profits off the top. Considering how poor Crypterra transparency has been I do not think we will really know.
CryptoRobert thanks for your reply. I do mine with crypterra, but I am not sure yet if I want to invest more with them. Just wait and see. It would be nice if people would also talk about the how profitable they are to mine with.
idk if this could be of any help to you but I'm currently mining ETH on Crypterra and so far, I believe I'm getting pretty much what one of those mining profitability calculator sites says. Like if it says $100 a day in calculation, then that's what I'm getting a day from mining at crypterra. GL and best wishes

CryptoRobert The "older technology" reason makes no sense. The older devices have less hashpower. But "1 th" on old equipment is the same as "1 th" on new equipment.
This is like the question "Which weighs more, 1 ton of feathers or 1 ton of bricks?". Answer: Neither, both are 1 ton.

How is mining better than trading? Would you not make more money by trading than by mining, considering that it takes time to recover the initial investment?

Mining is better then trading in that while trading is an active activity that takes a certain amount of time and a high degree of risk, mining is more passive, requiring little of the investor other then putting up your capital. Let's face it, most people are never going to become proficient traders. It's the difference between people who enjoy the excitement of day trading whereas many others would rather see there money grow in a managed index fund. Both types of people are investing, but one is super active and the other is just a capital investment upfront with continued contributions to grow their money. I think of cloud mining in the same was as I would investing in a managed index fund.

They may have made this move to Canada permanently because that is where I think there new data center is being built. If the move to Canada is true, and I think it is, then it is a smart one because electricity is very cheap there.
Why would Crypterra empty their BTC wallet?
As far as I know, they have not. Of course, it may not have been Crypterra that emptied their wallets. They might have been hacked and hackers might have emptied their wallets for them. Of course, I am merely speculating on that.

David, even if Crypterra scams out, which I hope that they do not, I would not be breaking any Federal Law. I am not the owner of Crypterra. Going back to my first video on Crypterra, I never have it a ringing endorsement and highlighted that it is a risky investment. The fact that you invested $50,000 is just insane actually. Why did you invest so much money in Crypterra? The fact if the matter is, you can lay claim to all manner of laws that I allegedly broke if Crypterra scams out, but non of that is true and will certainly be thrown out of any court.

David, here's the thing with that law, the plaintiffs have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that CryptoNick had prior knowledge that Bitconnect was a scam. It would be an exceedingly difficult thing to argue for mens rea in the case of Crypto Nick, Trevon Martin, Ryan Hildreth or Craig Grant for that matter. Essentially , any plaintiff seeking redress for willingly investing their own money, without compulsion from anyone, would be wasting their time and money in legal experiences. I know the law, sorry, all of this talk of class action suits is just utter nonsense.

If a newspapper promoted a website, and they found out later on that it was a scam it is the newspappers fault. Samething goes with youtube. It is the promotors duty to make sure that the company is not a scam. In this case crypterra is not even a company. The name crypterra is not registered anywhere as an actuall company.

Fernando, at the present time Crypterra is not charging any maintenance fees. That will most likely change in the very near future in my opinion.
But if they charge maintenance fee, does it apply to older contracts or only to new ones?

Try using VPN software. Anytime I have these types of security issues I get around them easily using a VPN service.

CCG and Hashflare are no longer profitable on their contracts. Based on their prices, expensive maintenance fees and the rising difficulty of mining, it is no longer profitable. Remember, you are renting their mining equipment and they can cancel the contract as soon you are no longer profitable.
This is the main reason why people ran to Crypterra. On paper, their prices look very attractive. BUT, they have zero transparency, we only know what they choose us to know. If they shut up shop and run, no one will be held accountable as we dont know their exact location and the people behind their operation.
