  • Yes, I know daisy chaining in this game is inefficient and each battery counts as a device to be powered. However at the end of the day, when you factor in portal worlds, the materials to create batteries are infinite. So I say go big or go home. This is the brute force method
    Total items being powered
    38 Tesla Coils
    37 Disc Turrets
    11 X-Ray Towers
    2 Symphonist Scarecrows
    &
3 Fridges, 4 Stoves, 2 Ovens, 1 Food Prepping Table, 6 Charging Stations, 3 Workbenches, 1 Repair bench, 1 Brain Sync, 1 Auto Salvager, 1 Pest Teleporter and 1 Distribution Pad.
14 fully charged Carbon Batteries still remain at 6am and the bank is fully recharged by 2pm.

How did you set up the power so you keep things powered after night time? Did you use the pest wheel? Or did you use the lazers? And how did you set them up?

Is there a limit to battery usage?
If I use more battery than the blue bar indicates, how does that count?
I might have to make a battery bank.

I know it's easier to just daisy chain, but MAN that's a lot of resources just for power 😅
My setups now have a battery for each item essentially. More than halved the amount of batteries in my base.

I get it, daisy chaining is inefficient because each battery drains the one before it in the chain. but.... at the same time it's really not THAT inefficient if you think about it. The description shows everything that is being powered but in total I have 112 machines being powered off of this battery bank. The battery bank has 86 batteries in it. Technically with 14 still fully charged by 6am i only need 72 batteries for those 112 machines. That's less than 1 battery per machine.
Also consider that 44 of those 72 batteries are just makeshift ones and the resources to craft them are stupid easy to get. 1 Makeshift Battery is essentially 1 monitor and 1 desktop computer tower. A single run of Flathill can net you about 15 monitors/desktops and a single run of The Rise can net you around 5. So to make those 44 smaller batteries it only took 2 runs of Flathill/Rise. 30 minutes of work.
At the end of the day it may be more efficient not to daisy chain but it's not really THAT inefficient. The "work" to make the few extra batteries needed to daisy chain is negligible in my eyes.
