Excellent movie. One of the best I've seen in a long time. IT kept me in my seat a while after to recollect myself. I was with my 9 and 12 year old.
I agree it does carry similiarties with the veiled message that Banshee had.
I watched it in the Irish language, I'm not fluent but it made it more genuine. Growing up in the 80s here in Ireland it was easy to relate. Did you get the end of the movie though and what was happening to the girl?

It's a superb movie. I didn't know anything about it when I saw it a year ago but I was blown away. I had to sit in my seat for 10 minutes after it was over to pull myself together enough to leave the theatre. I can't recommend it highly enough. Really glad you both loved it.
