One of the things a lot of people don’t know is that according to Home Alone director Chris Columbus, the original concept for Home Alone 3, the studio thought their chances of making millions of dollars to shoot Home Alone 2 and 3 back to back, because John Hughes had an idea for Home Alone 3. The original idea for Home Alone 3 was rather than a different cast, Home Alone 3 will featured Kevin, the McCallister Family, and Harry and Marv. This was before that idea was scrapped, before Hughes wrote another version of Home Alone 3 with Kevin as a teenager. It’s true; Columbus and Culkin actually mentioned this in the commentary of Home Alone Blu Ray version. The idea of shooting Home Alone 2 & 3 back to back sounds like a great and awesome idea to me. BTW, the first 2 Home Alone films are the best.

I watched this amazing movie for the first time the other night. I ate a healthy dose of magic mushrooms before i watched it… the deep yawns… the pupils dilating to where the light from the screen is nearly a blur. I was glued to every scene, i couldnt look away for a minute. The hopeful anticipation, the deep sadness, the comedy of errors by every character. I love this movie and i cant believe i had never seen it before. I cant wait to see it again…

This was not a deep dive… you guys didn’t even scratch the surface. You all completely missed the entire point of the movie. Twister is not meant to be viewed logically….it is to be viewed philosophically. It’s a movie about Marriage and the marital debris that comes with it. It’s much deeper than you give it credit for. Watch it again turn the logical part of your brain off….switch to the analytical part. What does Dorthy represent? How does Bill react at the very mention of her name? Why? Why did Jo sign every page but the last? When did she finally sign it? What happened right before she signed it? What happened right after? What do the characters names symbolize? How many tornadoes were there? What was each tornado categorized as? How were they unique? What did each tornado symbolize? Once you view the movie analytically you will see things you completely missed the first time. Example: Where is my truck? Looks at the direction where it almost falls on Melissa….”there it is.” (She was not referring to the truck) she is referring to the woman that was taking her husband. “Cow” “another cow, that’s the same cow……yea….totally talking about Melissa…..Remember when she confused her with being two different women..in the very beginning….and bill said There has only been Melissa. Anyway….You guys didn’t even scratch the surface….watch it again with a different perspective…and try to answer those questions.

I stopped watching at 18:00 when the armorer said he adjusted the zero on the AR15 to 200 yards so Anthony Mackie could "engage them at longer distances". That statement made my brain hurt.

JDW for me gave the most typical "on stage" performance....just WRONG for the movie. I saw bits of the 1995 TV movie, Charles Dutton nailed the character way better.

She was OSCAR-worthy a couple of years back for her turn in Till...yet, the Academy didn't even nominate her. i saw that year's nominees again... she should've had the Michelle Williams' slot. Michelle's role in The Fabelmans was a SUPPORTING one...not the Lead.

Samuel Jackson originated the role of boy willie in 87

But Rush Hour 3 is the funniest.

Love this movie too

Breaking bad is my favorite show but i found El Camino generally pretty boring. It still feels well made but it doesn’t rly add much to the story for me

I was bothered that it was 6 years after the series. Couldn't handle fat Todd and aged characters, but it felt good to know what happened to Jesse. I heard that it wasn't want we wanted, but what we needed.

Agree with Todd. Was a 3, but it dropped (think you used “faded”) to a 2. Wrapped up just way too fast near the end. Seems like a story with a lot of meat on the bone. Needs a creative screenplay for success.

Truthfully whenever I think of Argylle I always think of John McClanes overly talkative and friendly limo driver in the first Die Hard film.

Its another great Farrelly Brothers directed movie. It's not as good as Dumber and Dumber,Something about Mary,and Kingpin which is actually my number one favorite on the list of the movies they directed. Still worth a watch though.

I love the first 3 Home Alone films! About Home Alone 2 at the hotel Kevin as the customer was wrong for stealing his dads credit card to check into the hotel. Tim Curry did the right thing for being suspicious of it and doing an investigation. Customer is NOT always right...thats just a clever slogan welcoming them into your work place and to show appreciation for the fact that they spend money there. Alot of times the employess/management are right as well.

I've always wondered who played the cop in the beginning that alerts Miranda that the party thats going on in there home is over the top and that its a noise ordinance violation along with the zoo animals in a residential area where they shouldn't be. Even his voice sounded familiar.

Fun fact:Tim Allen actually was considered for the role of Daniel/Mrs. Doubtfire and the new boyfriend Stu. He turned down both roles and saved being in the makeup chair to play divorced father Scott Calvin in the Santa Clause instead which came out a year later.
