- 4K City Walks - Trout Lake Otters and Fish - Yellowstone - Virtual Walking Trails for Treadmill is my favorite walk I've done in quite awhile. I took a day and went down to Yellowstone to film for my other channel, Amazing Nature Relaxation Therapy, and also to do a walk around Trout Lake near Cooke City and Silvergate, MT. The wild flowers had bloomed and I found lots of great relaxing shots to film but I also saw a lot of cool animals. At the lake, I filmed spawning cut throat trout, a ground squirrel that "hid" right next to the trail, a family of geese, and, best of all, two playful otters. I took some shaky closeups that I"ve added in to the walk (about 1 min) of the otters. Not filmed were three bears, two wolves, and lots of bison. I hope you enjoy this walk. I can't convey the beauty of Yellowstone in words.

Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate these walks. I've been using them to march in place and being able to imagine I'm in Yellowstone (which I've visited a few times) makes me immediately breathe deeper. I can feel my whole body relax. This one was especially beautiful as it showed me a trail/place I never knew existed in Yellowstone. Not that I want to be selfish or anything, but I'd love if there would be a walk around West Thumb Geyser Basin which is one of my personal favorite places in the park--especially since it doesn't usually get too crowded.
So glad to hear these are bringing some Joy. Everything is pretty crowded this year in Yellowstone but I might be able to get to West Thumb in September. I'll add it to the list! Thanks and happy stepping! -H

Nice video. I worked at Grant Village way back in 95. I would take walks along the lake in the evenings, and I too saw a family of Otters playing. The neat thing is, they saw me. So I sat very quiet and watched them, till they moved off. Also, I did not think it was legal to hike with a firearm in Yellowstone. Plus, I bet it wasn't big enough to stop a bear.
Hi James, thanks for sharing that great memory. Firearms were legalized in the national parks 10 or so years ago. I have my doubts about that bear stopping potential of his gun as well. -H

I went out to Yellowstone 5 years ago. While planning the trip, I simply went on google maps to look for some lesser known lakes around the park, and stumbled upon trout lake. We hiked the short trail back, and spent the afternoon there. It was amazing. I didn’t catch any fish, but not even getting skunked could ruin the time spent out there. We are going back to Yellowstone in September, and trout lake is at the top of my to do list. Thanks for the video!

While the scenes in this video where nice, I could not appreciate the silence. If you recall, weeks ago I commented stating how much I appreciate your video being like a tour. Silent videoes are a dime a dozen and are not like a tour. No one is telling me what I am looking at. While doing my workout on my manual treadmill, I could not help but wonder how this video is a cut above the other silent walking videos available on UA-cam.

I have started watching your videos while walking in place to get more steps in when can't get outside. I absolutely love nature and animals so watching the trout, geese and especially the otters were a definite plus for me. I have shared your videos with others. If you ever make it to Wisconsin we have some beautiful scenery on the Ice Age Trail.

It's a nice one and fairly easy too. Go kind of early for the least crowds. The parking is pretty limited. Have a great time when you eventually make it out there. -H

In your Montana State University video you mentioned doing a walk near Hyalite Canyon. If you are still in the area I would love to see a video of that area. My friends and I used to go for drives and walks up there when I went to school in bozeman.

Idk if these r treadmill stimulation virtual reality type of thing I normally like these type of videos so that I can put music on and walk on my treadmill while I watch these videos or I like to listen to the nature sound in the videos I'm not sure what this one is about because he is doing a lot of talking so it's definitely a tour not a treadmill stimulator type of video still very nice very nice video

Oh trust me, if I come across a bear on my walks, I will definitely show them. They are a bit elusive and shy and also dangerous but so special to see. I'll keep an eye out! -H
