+SHAWN T they had poor cam oiling and suffered from premature cam wear as a result. They also had an inherent vibration because they were originally designed as a v8 and when the gas crunch of the 70's hit, the designers basically chopped 2 cylinders off the end and the firing order was not corrected for balance. Both of these problems were later remedied in the 3.0L version of the engine used in the Eagle Premier in USA.
