As a South East Asian who came to the states after the so-called Secret War during the Vietnam War, we were thrown into the concrete wilds to fight against the hyenas, lions, and gorillas of America. We had to join gang not because we want to, but for protections and respect. Of course, the majority SEA who were brought up the era would be tattooed, all bulky, dressed up like a gang and talk like a brother, but deep inside our soul, we are book smart too, so don't judge a book by its cover. We may have gangster look like how you would portray Kevin Nguyen, but our manner could be like a Chad with respect. Like I said in one of the other videos regarding Asian hate, if you don't want to get bullied like during the pandemic, then you need gangster look. Some girls even like that for protections, but also a soft man to love them dearly. Opinions, you choose. But just be yourself. Gangster can love BTS army musics too. By the way, I am Hmong with a Phoenix tattoo body wrap to representing my pride, but I'm covered up in a suit and tie.

Trying to fit a mold is a good way to find out you have no idea who you are when you reach your mid life crisis.

The ABB look is more attainable, but being a Chad is still king. The problem is, you can't just "dress like a Chad," you either are one, or you're not. All the Asian Chads are male model good looks, tall, jacked, and have muscle. Top 1%ers genetically. Of course they don't need tats to look edgy and masculine, their base genetics do the work for them.
Also, the Chad look is better for actually getting a job and the highest quality of women will care about this lol

New subscriber here! Love the conversations you guys are having. At first when I saw the word "Hotpot" I got excited until I realized it was just the name of the podcast and not you guys eating some... but I digress.
Anyway, I'm just reflecting on my own preferences in men as an Asian woman. At my low income high school, a majority of the Asians were Filipino and Vietnamese. They mostly resembled Kevin Nguyens I guess, and that was the kind of guy I used to go for. I'm not sure how or when this happened, but when you guys mentioned something about Asian cops, that made me realize I am more attracted to Chad adjacent types these days. And this made me think of one guy in particular from my high school that is Cambodian. I heard that a lot of Cambodian guys usually end up in gangs so you'd think he'd be more of a Kevin Nguyen, but this guy in particular went the Chad adjacent route by becoming an Asian cop. He also doesn't have any tattoos despite being a military veteran. I just think he's a weird case. I also find him attractive against my own will.
Kinda off topic, but what would be the female equivalent of a Kevin Nguyen? I feel like I am maybe physically considered one of those as an intimidating (according to people that are not me) tattooed petite Asian woman. I also go to UC Berkeley so I'm confused as to why I find cops attractive, as most of my peers seem to hate them.
I feel like I just needed to get these thoughts out I guess. It might be the ADHD. As for that Cambodian guy from high school, he knows I find him attractive. We dated for a while, but that ended 3 years ago when we got engaged. Did we ever get married? No. We decided to end our engagement this year. It'll actually end next week, since that's when the wedding is.

Why are tattoos attractive ? Is the only difference between Asian Chad and Asian gangster tattoos ? Both are masculine and well built, but tattoos convey an attitude - ratched, hood, basically Asian ghetto, which is closer to ghetto white/black/Hispanic, while Chad is white adjacent, but more accurately, middle class/upper class of all races. It's IMO a class thing.
Chad is just a good looking guy. The Gangsta thing is for less attractive guys who make up for it by looking like a bad boy.

I'm Filipino and I'm more of the Chad WASP type. Most Filipino guys are into the whole Kevon Nguyen look. Not really my style and doesnt work for me. I will say from personal experience White women like the Chad look and dont seem to care for dating a Kevin Nguyen look.

I notice that most Asian guys aren't that nice. I always find it easier to talk to white guys and have small talk. I have always been a more happy go lucky kind of guy, but most Asian guys are not happy go lucky. I think learning to be nice goes a long way. I also notice that the older guys seem to be in competition with the younger guys, rather than try to be role models.
Be happy, be ready to defend yourself and bite back. There should be an Asian guy for everyone.

Facial structure is genetic, but you can control your weight, which is what contributes to having a chiseled jaw. Anyone can maximize their facial definition by lowering their body fat %.
Getting fit is advisable for everyone. The same can't be said about tats. Getting inked for the sake of gaining external approval is a really dumb idea. Bottomline is: don't try pretending to be someone you aren't to please others. You might be able to fool someone for momentary gain, but you'll never be able to fool yourself. And it's probably not very tenable to live the rest of your life as a fraud.

The question was about what type of men that women are attracted to. The tyrone type was not mentioned as a type that women are attracted to. Those men may be attracted to a type of woman but those women may not be attracted to those men and that's why it's important to just ask indivual women what they like and dont like. I just like how Asian men look and that their writers are very romantic. Not an arch type nor caricature. The best thing that asian men can do, is just be themself as they are. Their popularity is already rising through kpop, kdramas, jpop, jdramas and cpop and Cdramas.

Even within the same race this is generally true (in the US). White guys who look more dangerous tend to have more voluptuous partners whereas the more timid "put together" engineer-type men attract skinny, bubbly girls with emphasis on pretty faces.

You'd have to know her for quite some time before that is a reasonable thing to ask, and usually women will just consider it a red flag if you even ask, because it comes across as "desperate" or they get the idea that you want them (just because you asked). I never see Indian women date out. It happens but I lived in Brampton, Canada and they stick with their men. I see Asian women always with white men. Indians aren't liked here either
