Thanks for your reaction, keep up the good work, though don’t understand your scoring system. Adam’s never less than a ten surely 😂

Adam originally comes from musical theater, starting at the age of 9. He wanted to pursue a career in musical theater until he got the rock/pop fever. He took vocal lessons thru his teen years, including one year of opera. This performance was from when he played a role in Brigadoon, in regional theater in Texas.

This is a gorgeous performance, definitely the best interpretation of this song by far. That breath near the end lasted for over 20 seconds of perfect singing! Made ME breathless listening lol

I’d have bought a ticket just to hear him hold those notes. And he never ends them early. Never out of breath. Flawless!

I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that you two gents were able to hear something live from Adam's theater days!! He's always been an incredible singer! Please, Sirs, react to the video of his live performance in The Ten Commandments, the song is " Is Anybody Listening" He's playing the part of the Hebrew slave, Joshua. Thanks again so very much! 😊 👍 ❤❤

His musical training is obvious at his young age, but I think playing with Queen gives him rock cred!!! Love his versatility but his stage charisma and performance abilities gives him more edge into rock! Love your faces when Adam surprises you!

Beautiful performance of a beautiful, classic stage musical song! In the movie version of Brigadoon this song was a key moment for Gene Kelly but Adam (who was very young when he acted in Brigadoon) sang this wonderfully. I feel that it’s difficult to judge without contextual knowledge of stage musical style.
This beloved musical is a true classic of stage and screen. It’s a shame you aren’t familiar with it-many are not. Brigadoon was only one of a genre that brought incredible music and storytelling to generations of people who relied on local stage productions and later an evening in a movie theatre for entertainment. It’s a piece of history-and it is still available, if you ever feel like setting aside the constant barrage of data we endure for a couple of hours. The music is wildly varied and experiential. The singers are top-drawer. Adam Lambert definitely would have made them proud. The story is magical, if you truly believe. 😉

I recommend Adam Lambert in the Los Angeles touring company of Joseph and His Technicolor Dreamcoat singing "Close Every Door to Me".

OMG I've been wondering where your next Adam reaction was! Thank you for this, Madison! I've never heard this one and his voice is so beautiful, what on Earth?! 🥹🥹🥹 I don't get Disney vibes, but I do get Phantom of the Opera. Now I need to hear Adam as the Phantom. 😄

Great to see his older stuff. His solo from the 10 Commandments, Is Anybody Listening, is another really great one!

I haven't listened to this song in a good few years. I forgot about that amazing single breath phrase(?)(certainly wasn't a single note) at the end(I timed it, it's about 21 seconds). I do like musical theater, so I really enjoyed this one.

This musical debuted in the 1930s. His character Charlie is getting married the next day and he's lingering outside the cottage of his bride, trying to persuade her to come out for a kiss.

The village of Brigadoon was located in Scotland, hence the Scottish accents.(Except for the lost American tourists of course!)

You are correct 👍🏻 it’s a fun score most of the artists get 10/10 for ability and Adam is one of those so we have to go by what our ear likes 👍🏻 that’s why it’s just a fun score but your right :)
