I have that same car and same setup as the first car much happier without the mufflers but kept the resonators sounds better with them on man
Why would you get rid of the x-pipe? Seems to be counter intuitive from my experience unless you want to put the imbalance back for the sake 3 dB.
@@frankmc5112 Well I always thought the xpipes kind of scavenged the exhaust which is good for power but it seems like this guy in the green car just wants to be loud as possible mine still has the X too

Neither as I’ve gotten older I care more about the tone then loudness. Don’t get me wrong it sound gd but idk if I can daily a straight piped v8 anymore 😆, plus where I live the fuzz will be on my ass in a heartbeat.

I’m new into muscle cars, I just got a 2022 LT1 Camaro I did a muffler delete and secondary car delete but am I able to delete my factory xpipe without running into problems?

I love the straight through exhaust, however, it is well known that deleting the cross over reduces performance, i.e. car now makes more noise while being slower...

thats what my dad did with his 300c. I know it's not the same as a scat pack but I'd try that out first and then if it's not loud enough I'd straight pipe it but keep the xpipe. flows better, supposedly makes more power, and imo it sounds better. my dads car with his straight pipe sounds about as loud as a scat pack with a mid muffler delete and that things LOUD. it bounces off the buildings in our little town and it's fun as hell to drive around lol
dont delete resonators. back pressure issues. you will get no power in the low rpm like at all

Have you ever put an H-pipe in, in place of an X-pipe? I have heard they help deepen the exhaust note, which is a complaint I have of challengers - way too high pitched.

Muffler and resonator delete is loud but the tone is shit. Keeping the resonator on keeps the rasp in check. The stock exhaust sound better than the muffler/resonator delete.

Currently have a 18 SXT plus. I’d like to put put aftermarket tips on, but has those fake tip attached on the bumper. How hard is it to remove those fake tips.
Straight pipes wins because it allows to scream more on the challenger 392 than it does with muffler delete to be honest

It makes it OBNOXIOUSLY loud lol! Sounds incredible especially if you enjoy that old school raw sound. But realistically the cabin drone, and police attention in my opinion isn’t worth it. I got a mid muffler delete on my Chally and I’m satisfied lol. So to each their own!

The car looks good but anybody that knows only WIDEBODY Hellcats come with SRT badges with the Hellcat logos so if you see one with just SRT it’s upbadge SCATPACK

Just depends where you go call around your local muffler shops and ask for a quote. I would say it ranges from 150-300 depending on the place

Thats an SCATPACK, only WIDEBODY Hellcats come with SRT badges with the Hellcat logos so if you see one with just SRT it’s an upbadge SCATPACK
@@yungswisha from 2015 to 2018 you could get a srt392. which was basically a hellcat with the scatpack engine. the green one is not that. but what i'm saying is there are challengers that exist that are true srt vins with the 6.4 and they will have SRT badges.

It’s a reason dodge didn’t put srt on the speedometer and steering wheel on the SCATPACK and it say dodge instead. If I had to buy the srt badge for my car then chances are it didn’t belong on it lol

I just recently purchased a 5.7 hemi Challenger 2022 hellraising and I was on the highway and I came across a scat pack I don't believe it was a 2022 scat pack I believe it was about a 2018 and I smoke that brother but you better be surprised about what that 5.7 can do and don't be put a shame if you want to rep or be cocky about it put it to the test don't think that you can beat the 5.7 without knowing what's really going on cuz I guarantee you what they put on numbers on the map is not what it's showing this 5.7 hemi that I got is pushing about 480 horsepower that also that has a 8-speed transmission in his brand new and when you go and put your belts on or whatever you can actually slow it down without the right process so y'all better respect that 5.7 because it can whip your ass LOL
Drove plenty of examples of both the 5.7 and the 6.4. Never, In all of my experiences had I once seen a stock for stock 5.7 come close to beating a 6.4. Hell, even modified 5.7’s have their hands full with the 392’s.
