Well when you really think about it, every banner is a bait banner. Anyways, fun fact, a lot of operators have hard to pronounce names so here is a list of operators that are often referred by some numbers (1) Surtr. While the English Surtr same is pretty short, her Chinese name is (史爾特爾) yeah, not what you really call simple, so the cn community usually call her 42, since Surtr sounds like 42 in Chinese, and 42 is the cost if you redeploy her twice?(I'm not sure if it's once or twice) And 42 is also the meeting of life. (2) Virtuosa. The funny thing about this operator is that we actually got her real name before her code name, so even tho her code name is pretty short (塑心(meaning the sculpture of hearts, well technically 塑 can also mean to change something's shape, so this transition isn't really that accurate but anyways)) her real name is 阿爾圖羅 and that sounds like 2256 or 2226 so we usually call her that. (3) Ntr knight. We usually call her Ntr knight even in the cn community, cuz you know, Ntr funny or something, but we also call her 174 with the same reason as the other ones.
My opinion on joint banner is that they can range from fine banner if you don't have all listed operator to terrible/bait banner if you have one or two listed operator, If you don't have all listed operator joint banner is quite good since your first 6* pity is guaranteed to be new operator you don't have.
These banners are my lifeblood back when i was new, the Operators i got in JO4 unironically carried my team, but that was maybe because i got Nightingale, Suzuran, And Thorns back when Thorns can kill most enemies in a stage by himself
I do enjoy the existence of these banners as there are a lot of fun characters in Arknight if you aren't just going for the top of the meta and these banners make them a lot more accessible thanks to the much smaller pool. Though it's kinda clear that they're made more for people who are willing to spend to collect than pure F2P who have to be extremely frugal if they plan on having an easier time especially in more restricted modes like IS and RA that require a strong roster to perform consistently. Some spending and you easily end up with twice the amount of pulls a pure F2P will get which make the required amount of pull to have to hit the 300-spark range a lot lower before you have to actually buy non-pack OP. So for players like me who do spend on monthly and buy the event packs, these banners are really good until the account is stacked enough for it to be consistently 75% chance of a dupe where it greatly loses its value and you will start ramping up gold cert much faster from constant duping on new release banners to start buying whatever you're missing.
Unfortunately, either my gacha addiction got my at least 2/4 ops on every Joint banner or my randomness gacha luck got me them. So, I ended up never pulling on any of them, lol.
Imo Joint Banner is one of the best banners to pull on aside from limiteds, excluding the fact that maybe one of those rate-up is not what you wanted. I'm sort of Executor enjoyer, I don't have Pozy, and getting potential for either Kal or Jess was fine in my book, with Executor potential being the main win in this banner for me personally... Welp, he's pot5 now, couldn't be happier with that LMAO
Any banner that is not a standard banner can be called bait. Arknights is always about 3 months away from some sort of limited banner. If you care about "guarantee" more than "new", then they are the best banners in the game. It makes the gambling a bit less risky.
I pulled for the recent joint operation hoping to get a mlynar instead i got another zuo lu instead of the 3 other ops that would have been a new op for me 💀
How bro tries to justify feeding on his addiction: 💀
Shhhhhh…
Only pull until you get 5 stars or a limit of 10 pull warranty.

That Virtuosa one makes a lot of sense considering the lore and event story she was a part of.
And yes, NTR knight funny.

That aside, I do believe some of them are really good for those starting out or that don't have them.
Joint Up banner is a banner worth to check since you can obtain 6 stars without wasting many pulls if you are newbie
Are these bait banners? They do tend to show up right before or after big events (this one came right after the 2nd R6 collab).

Joint banner or banner before story rerun is a pull if:
3/4 operators you don't have!
And is it worth to pull it.
Sorry, only time these are worth it is if the banner contains an exodia operator that just wins you the game
Only the 6th piece exodia operator “little d” shall be worth rolling for
I had the chance to get suzu or surtr so of course i did . I am not a permit hoerder

how about the upcoming orienteering banner? better than joint ops no?
From what I’ve read about, they do seem better given the agency to choose 3/6 of the featured ops to roll for
