KMC was working back in the 70s and early 80s.There was livestock marketing division dealing with buying livestock, holding them in holding grounds for screening then shipped to KMC. The holding grounds lands were grabbed by the people in power, the other assets like the long land train lorries were grabbed and KMC was systematically destroyed. The blueprint the Botswana government used to develop their livestock industry was borrowed from Kenya. We trained their personnel in livestock production in Egerton college, we used to call them foreigners. Poor leadership took us where we are.

Quality we Kenyans seem to have lost.
KMC is a public utility, so why couldn't it be run profitably? IAny of his business empire militarised yet and if not, why not? Do you need military to be disciplined and to run commercial enterprises? The answer is no and most cases has resulted in much failures. Let UK demonstrate with an example by militarising his business empire first before he does for public utility. I really doubt whether the real objective is for good public interest, there must be a hidden agenda Mr President!
