As a knife maker myself I see a lot of fellow makers bad mouthing these mass produced blades and calling them cheap garbage. But if you look at the process that they go through, sure they're using junk repurposed steel but at the end of the day they've followed the right steps and made a quality blade. I'd feel completely happy buying one of those sheets of multi-layered twisted damascus plates direct from their rolling press to use myself. Kudos to these guys, much respect.

what do you do with these knives? They don"t look to useful in the kitchen to me, do they?
These are not for kitchens.. once these were for agricultural purpose to cut paddy,or any other unwanted weeds... But nowadays these are used for self defence purpose... Specially in Silat,and other philipino martial arts...

Какое качество? Посмотри отверстие под палец на одном ноже дальше от торца ручки, а на другом утопает в ручке ножа. Отверстие ни как не обработано, кривое с заусенцами. Я бы такой нож даже по низкой цене не купил.

Dear admin, did you notice?
In the video you are showing the process of making a knife with Damascus steel but when the video ends the Damascus grain is not visible in the knife.
I was going to make a comment about this this but I noticed that you already mentioned it. I'm glad you also noticed it Mohammad, I also wondered what happened to the Damascus steel they created at the beginning of the video!
I guess there bent and twisted it in too plane steel mixed it all thro I guess if acid dipped might show diffrent story
@@vlratcliffe1After seeing all the layers and twisting you would definitely see it in the steel even if they didn't put it in acid. For whatever reason the video starts with them making twisted Damascus steel but then switched to a regular plain steel making knives.
