Hey Fam! I'm Nicole! I'm a developer, freelancer and content creator based in the USA! I taught myself front end development and I am now in a coding bootcamp to learn fullstack software engineering! I started this channel to show that learning to code is possible for anyone and to encourage more women and people of color to start learning hard skills like coding and get into tech! Great video! One question, it seems that Data Structures & Algorithms is very crucial for software engineer job interviews. Were you able to practice DS+A problems throughout the bootcamp or was it taught only for that week like you said?

This was an interesting comparison. At my bootcamp I think the main stack is usually Python using Django using Djangos template engine, we can build out the front end’s HTML , CSS etc. So they consider that fullstack. From there, part time students can either go to the projects and algorithms section before going on to graduate or chose a second or third stack (MERN or JAVA).

Research what you’re interested in and see what language is best suited to that. Both are great choices and will set you up well + once you learn your first language, the second is much easier

Also look into which of these 2 languages is being used by companies in your area or whatever area you want a job in and focus on that.
