Case Maxxum 150 with the Active 8 gearbox. It’s essentially the same but I’d pick the Case. Lovely tractor to drive over long days at silage and competes well with the Puma. The dual clutch and gear overlaps are far superior to the range command style, especially alongside the harvester.
I wish I had money to upgrade a bit the newest one is 22 years old now but not sure on plastics and electrics on the new one Bit wet down here today Have a good week cheers 🐜
I’m not a New Holland fan but aesthetically on the outside they look better than the previous models. Right size for a loader tractor always find unless you were a contractor anything over 120hp is far too big and cumbersome!
It's not bad, but it's time new Holland had a revamp like Deere with the r series. It's a 6 pot believe it of not same as ours. I was expecting all singing and dancing been a demo
I'm not sure that company ever do make there demo tractors top spec 😂. I kinda fancy a go in a T 6, this k there's a he'll of a difference between the T5 and T6. I don't mind the flimsy plastic bits if there easy replaced for when you do catch them. Is that a dwarfs hand rail on the steps!?!
I was expecting full spec. Dint like them spool levers there, they look an after thought to me. That hand rail is abit odd. I think it would look better without the black plastic
I was thinking the new demo was going to be a different brand for some reason. Would have been neat to see a Vario 800 or 900. Maybe an Axion 880. Now that would have been a horse of a different color. Don't know if McCormick is making anything good anymore & an offering from CaseIH is just what you have now painted red. Not very original, I'm afraid. Oh well. Have a good one KV. Regards!!
@@GEOFFKV6080 Local is always good. If I went new, the local dealer is Kubota. They make a decent tractor. Otherwise, they were originally an IH dealer. So I can still get parts for my current line of old equipment.
Do you reckon that will be a classic in 30yrs time? I must admit, I prefer older tractors to these new plastic hi-tech things. Nice to see but must be scary when the invoice lands on your desk for payment! Plenty of rain over here too young man, send yours down to Cow Farmer Dan, he needs it because he has run out of grass!
I do like new stuff with plenty of gadgets on. But if you gave an old tractor like a case 1455 I'd be very happy. These modern tractors wont be running in 30 years. 78 grand is the price tag on this if you fancy it. Cow farmer Dan can have it, if we dont have wet fog its pisiing down cant win at the moment
@@GEOFFKV6080 Yes, we had strong rain, breezy winds and then fog and rain earlier this evening. I can think of better ways to spend £78k if I had it. And it wouldn't be on any new tractor. I will leave that for you lads!
@@GEOFFKV6080 get 2 new hollands for it, 2 separate tractors that you can use at once rather than just one tractor, it just makes sense to go for new holland tbh
Still has some striking resemblances to my 16 year old Case MXU. Thanks for the look round.🙂👍
Hi k v. I had a day watching your videos they where brilliant. Keep producing more videos please.
I recently did a tractor health and safty course and it was a case max something they had and that new holland is not far away from being identical
Cnh case needs holland basically the same machines just different cabs

Cheers Antony. Weather better here now just started cutting 3rd cut today

That's the right size for us, its spends most of it's time in the yard, or topping and tedding
We have a t6.175 dynamic command that little knob by gears is how many revs before it changes up a gear
no electronic spool valves? on fendts its stadart from 1998
That's not complete true, the 200 series from Fendt haven't got them
@@vandijck-agri5115
the 200 series its for garden
@greekfarmer no that's not true, they are used on smal farms en tree farms
Great video 👍
Nice vid, how far off do you think the 6080 is off being replaced ?
It will be with us a good while yet, still going strong with 7500 hrs. Too pricey to change especially with milk prices like they are
Good video kv 👍🏻
Nice looking bit of kit but was expecting the full armrest being a dynamic. Seats a bit squeaky aint it. She'll be a 4 pot wont she

I like the looks of it especially those rear mudguards but I dont really like that cab layout. Personally I would rather a t6050 range command
Cab layout wasn't bad s thought apart from the spools

Do you no what happened to Jonny 1388 funny how he just stopped doing the UA-cam vids 🤔
Have you had any problems with it ?
