I have a Brother Innovis, but if I had seen the Husqvarna in action, I probably would have purchased that one. So, I agree with you...I like the Husqvarna. Your logo on that looked really nice!
The start where both machines are nearly silent when they run is perfection. I think for folks that want to learn embroidery may want to try a Brother SE625, since it's a hair cheaper and still does good quality (or at least mine does anyway)
Hi! thank you so much for this video, so helpful!! I recently just got the jade 35 and am trying to figure out how to digitize my designs and load them onto the machine - I am a complete beginner. Would you be willing to do a video showing the process of how you digitized your logo and then actually got the machine to embroider it? Thank you!
THANK YOU!!! I appreciate that fact that you used the exact same pattern,,, I love both Brother and H Viking, yet you prooved that the HViking stitches better--something I've wanted to try with my machines and feel I have noticed, but never took the time to do the exact same... thank you!!!
Good review, but I'm going to disrespectfully disagree with you on treating your embroidery machine gently. I originally thought that, but these machines are built to last and do both functions well. My first combo machine was the Babylock Esante. I currently own a Babylock Solaris. I've put this machine through it's paces. I made a heavy winter coat last year and then embroidered a denim jacket back. Perfection.
I have a Bernette B70 and a Brother SE700. I used the same file on both machines. Bernette stitched beautifully and Brother wasn't. There was a gap line on Brother stitches. I'm thinking of upgrading my Bernette to Bernina 790 Plus. I've heard many good things about it.
I found the Husqvarna Viking Jade 35 for $1025. I'm very tempted to buy it but I would mostly use it for sewing and only use the embroidery function for applique. Idk if it would perform well for sewing things like faux fur and spacer mesh
I have the Jade 20 (sewing) and Jade 35. It is veeery important to mention, the Jade 35 is a VERY sensitive machine. For the price, it’s best that machine be reserved for people with experience troubleshooting common machine issues. I do not think it is beginner friendly at all. My local sewing shop does some maintenance on my machines but always encourages me to move to a Brother or singer. Also, the buyer should invest in embroidery software that converts files. The Jade 35 uses HUS or VP3 files whereas the more common embroidery files are PES.
Thank you for sharing...I have a Brother Scan N Cut sdx225 & make PES files so, it'll be a Brother for me, but I do love that Viking!!! 😊 I need a beginner user friendly machine. I have a Brother sewing machine, but interested in embroidery.
I would really love to see you do a video of that "freehand" embroidery sewing machine I see around on instagram. it has a white hoop/ circle foot. hopefully you can more videos like this of more machines (have the companies send them to you!!). I really appreciate how you explain everything. based on one of your videos I bought the brother strong and tough and I couldn't be happier. this jade is definitely going on the list. DID YOU GET TO KEEP IT?? that way maybe you can show us how to set up the files?? :D I love your page so much. looking forward to seeing what you do next
I have a friend that does embroidery and she said that it's best to use embroidery machines exclusively for embroidery and sewing machines for sewing. The embroidery machines are expensive to repair and you would not want that to end up needing repairs because it was used to do something it shouldn't be doing.
I bought the husqvarna viking jade 35 as a Christmas present to myself. I really haven't used it much. I'm afraid of it. It's an expensive and nice machine. I really need to play with it and figure it out. I also have the Husqvarna Emerald 116. I use that one for most of my sewing. I just gave away my Singer HD to a good friend who needed a machine. I have too many machines. The two I want to keep are my Husqvarnas.

Girl, did you read my mind or something! I've been wanting an embroidery machine. I value your opinion and review. Thank you.
I’m so glad I could help!!

Thanks for the great recommendation!
I think that was/is one of the best machines ever made…

I’ve heard good things about that one too!
Everything is great except the price

I love them both and Brothers work forever but the other one does better quality work. The Brother is a 10 though in my opinion.
I'm willing to bet using the right digitizing software you can dial in the settings and make the brother look just as good.

Great video and spirit. I am a new sewist and really want to learn how to shorten the rise in mens pants. Help plz
Great tutorial. I miss seeing the ladies interact with you. You guys are so funny.
I am new to this world but I have never heard of a Husqvarna machine

I’ll have to look into that 🤔
Can you cross stitch on this machine?
I like the Brother
Husqvarna embroidery looks way more neat.
I decided against embroidery and sewing machine in one. Because it is very annoying to change between different coloures.
Brother St150hdh vs singer HD6700C heavy duty review would be great.
I see you have that "B" logo. Can you upload your own image for it to embroider? Different colors?
@@meganmarts5769 You have to turn it into an embroidery file first. You can pay someone on Etsy to do it or find a program that will do it.
@@BlueprintDIY cool! Thank you

That’s what I suspected

I have too many machines. The two I want to keep are my Husqvarnas.
I totally understand being afraid of using a new machine. I only use the 35 for embroidery so that helps to simplify what it can do.
please do not be afraid of using your machine,,, go enjoy it!!!!!
Video is very nice
Thank you 💕
