@@wassabiii600 Definitely. In English oral tests, not only in IELTS, but also in, like TOEFL, too much advanced words isn't necessary. The most important thing is to express the most important part and should be relative to the question.

I watched the video when she got 7.0 last time and I was so amazed. Therefore, UA-cam suggested me this video as soon as it was on air. I love the way she answered, calm and confident. I kept replaying both videos many times, to be honest.
Today I’ve just had the test. In order to calm myself down before taking test and have confidence like her, I listened to this video on the way to the test location. AND…I got the same topic of part 2 as her. Thanks to that, I had ideas for the part 2 and 3. Unbelievable!! Thank you so much Kimberly and the examiner.

    chatGPT is …amazing …
Sure, I can provide an example response to that question. If I were answering the IELTS question about the pros and cons of taking photos while traveling, it might go something like this:
"On one hand, capturing photos during travels offers a tangible reminder of the experiences. It's a way to preserve memories and share the beauty of different places with others who weren't there. However, on the flip side, there's a risk of becoming too focused on photographing moments rather than fully immersing in them. Sometimes, in the pursuit of the perfect shot, one might miss out on the essence of the experience - the smells, the sounds, the subtle nuances of the environment. It's about finding a balance between documenting the journey and being truly present in it. Ideally, one should aim to create memories with their eyes and hearts first, and use the camera as a secondary tool to capture the essence of those memories."
This response aims to weigh both sides of the argument thoughtfully, showcasing an understanding of the topic's complexity.

If I were to answer that IELTS question, I'd say: "Traveling solo has several advantages compared to group tours. Firstly, it offers unparalleled freedom and flexibility. When you're on your own, you can tailor your itinerary to your personal interests and change plans spontaneously, without the constraints of a group schedule. This allows for a more personalized experience. Secondly, solo travel often leads to more authentic interactions with locals and a deeper immersion into the culture, as you're more likely to step out of your comfort zone and engage with the environment around you. Lastly, it can be a profound personal growth experience, boosting confidence and self-reliance as you navigate new places independently."
This response highlights the personalization, cultural immersion, and self-development aspects of solo travel, which are commonly viewed as its main benefits. How does that sound to you?
That's a great addition! Building on your idea, the response could be: "Beyond the benefits I mentioned earlier, solo travel, especially in scenarios like traveling with a partner in an RV, opens up opportunities for creating unique and romantic experiences. This style of travel encourages bonding and shared adventure, fostering deeper connections. The flexibility of an RV allows you to explore off-the-beaten-path destinations at your own pace, further enhancing the sense of adventure and discovery. It's not just about the places you visit, but also about the shared experiences and memories you create along the way."
This version emphasizes the romantic and adventurous aspects of solo travel, especially when it's done with a significant other in a more unconventional way, like using an RV. It captures the essence of creating shared memories and experiences that are unique to this mode of travel.
Absolutely, you've captured the essence beautifully. Young travelers often view their journeys as more than just vacations; they see them as pivotal life experiences. Each trip is an opportunity for growth, learning, and creating lasting memories. This approach to travel mirrors their approach to life - embracing adventure, seeking new perspectives, and valuing experiences over material possessions. It's about the journey as much as, if not more than, the destination. This mindset can lead to transformative experiences that shape their understanding of the world and themselves.
