I like affordable guitars; I've learned about guitars (modding) and I have guitars in every style I like because I buy affordable. I don't own a guitar that I would not take to a gig. My most expensive guitar is a 1994 Ibanez EX series w/ 24 frets and a Floyd Rose Tremelo.I paid $258 including the original hardshell case from Goodwill. I have a number of Fender Starcaster strats from Goodwill, some i have modded, while others were in mint condition, virtually unplayed, so I've kept them original. They all play fantastic. None cost more than $60, several for around $40.
Makes sense to me! I dont like the thought of keeping guitars at home and not gigging them. Except a 59 les paul maybe haha. But i would sell it anyway and buy a car and some custom guitars from the money if I had a burst. Haha
@@Gaslight.Guitar You have to be right, because you are calling a Mexican Tele a 'cheap' guitar and my two MIM (Tele and Strat) are my most expensive ones... ha ha.
@@BlugubriousMusic Lucky me. I thought about downsizing and also „cheapening“ my collection but I just cant do it. And what should I get? The new epi Firebird 1 is sick but damn its 1500€. Lmao
@@Gaslight.Guitar As a cheap guitar guy (I would love better guitars, no money), I can say - and it hurts - cheap guitars are not always (or even usually) better or even equal. I had a sought after Classic Vibes Squier and it was garbage. Had an imported G&L and it sounded great but could never get the neck good. Same with a PRS I had. So, good and bad in cheap and expensive. I could see you digging that bird!
Buy what you like and can afford.
Lots of options out there in every price range. Some of my favorite guitars are the ones i built as kits.
Yep. The golden age of guitars as many say. I want a strat again but since im not a strat guy I guess a classic vibe is a good choice

Ok, now I am going to need the video on the other side of this: I have never owned an expensive guitar. Funny, but true. Good work here Marco.
Thanks man! I mean it all depends. Its all relative isnt it? Theyre all just guitars.
