What’s up peeps. My apologies,I kept saying lacing when I really meant stitching🤦🏾♂️. I need to take some pre work out or something to wake me up before I decide to do an early morning video again 😂😂😂. IMPORTANT NOTE: The smears on the legit pairs are watermarks from the factory for authenticity . None of the fakes have it. Nor do the soles of the fakes glow.
Jacob Marcellus Dope video bro!! Noticed they tried to replicate Nike Air tags from hi’s to low’s to make more authentic on the lows. Seems like that first fake pair of lows the black light hits a different shade. Or maybe just the contrast of the video. Great content bro!!
Yeah it was tough getting the right angle for you guys to see the flaws. It was probably just the contrast because in a regular setting you can’t tell the difference with the laces.
Folks, the smudges or “scuffs” are touch up paint during the final inspection and it’s totally normal. Normally the paint on the sole cures, but during the touch up phase the paint doesn’t have time to cure even though it’s the same paint used on the sole, but applied to a smaller area to “clean it up” Some of my other authentics have touch up spots. Normally, it’s unseen, obviously until a black light is applied. All normal.
Jacob Marcellus The problem with it being a mark for authenticity is not all authentics have a smudge. I have numerous AJ1’s, bought at retailers without smudges. So I find that unbelievable. It would be believable if the smudge was always in the same place, on every pair, to “make them authentic”. Since they’re not, it’s easy to debunk.
HiQuikBrdr83, I found the same marks of paint on my pair of obsidian 1s today ... but there is a lot more (twitter.com/mgallaire/status/1220443496852705280?s=21). Everything seems normal except for these marks. Do you still think that this much paint is normal ? Thank you very much in advance

Hey Mr. Marcellus,, I just found your channel, watched few videos and had to subscribe. I just bought a pair off grailed and am not sure if they are real or fake and am wondering if the orange cactus jack lettering should glow? My pair has tons of little glowing speckles, the sole does not glow however and none of the stitching glows. I thought I would leave a comment because you know what you are talking about and have a fake pair in hand to compare to. Thx Atolton
You’re welcome . It looks like you might have a fake. From what I’ve learned was that the sole glows on purpose and what I called a scuff mark on the authentic shoes are actually a water mark from Nike to show the authenticity. The glowing specs are fabric ink that didn’t get completely washed off from the fake factory.
