Thanks for the review. One thing that's confusing, you said it has loads of presets (and the UVI page says it has over 2600 presets). But I only see a couple of hundred presets in the preset menu. Are there extra presets that need to be downloaded from somewhere? I bought this thinking there would be tons of presets but there's only minimal amount (less than 200) that were installed) so I'm pretty confused by where you would get those 2600 presets from. Thanks.
dan so many thx for all the videos you put out, keep them coming! :) im not done yet with the video, have to get some sleep now, but maybe a quick question, is sample import possible?
thx a lot! i still wish for something like this and KLIP with sample import. battery 4, nuance etc. are awesome but with randomizers etc. it would be awesome!
I like what I hear and see here, but I rather miss variations on every programmed sequence, because one pattern per sequence is not enough to play an entire song with. Thanks for showing this.
Its a great concept, needs a couple updates before seriously useable as i bought it upon release and have found it to be a little glitchy and could desperately do with an undo function. Otherwise the presets/sample/osc's are all fantastic, you really don't need to use your own samples and if you do just layer them on a separate track. my aim is for this to be my go to drum group, loving the "lock M&S" function too. Great review, there is so much to this instrument
Hey Sureno, thanks fo sharing your insights after digging into the library. I agree an undo function would be great ;) and for me, importing in my own samples is not a deal breaker as ther sound design layers and tools are so extensive. Thanks for the comment!
thanks yes it syncs to daw or can be played as a sample player for triggering with your own midi in daw. Also has a fun feature to drag midi to daw from the sequencer which is very useful for those of use who prefer to edit in the piano roll :)
Bit of an interesting point. I noticed this a few months ago; UVI have dropped support in all their specs for Windows 7 users. Everything including this is listed as 8 to 10.
Interestingly it also applies to UVI products that I have already bought as a Windows 7 user. Now, I still think that Drum designer IS PROBABLY ok ON wINDOWS 7. bUT it might be worth asking UVI about it. The main concern would be that the UVI Workstation might be designed for only Windows 8 upwards for Windows users.
The only reason for not getting this is that I don't need it! A terrible excuse. Now where did I put my credit card? I wonder if we can use sounds from Beatbox Anthology and other UVI stuff? I love the presets but I love the "design" side even more. UVI do good stuff.
I bought this plugin 2 years ago looked at it a few times and that was it . watching your demo again and again every year I keep going back to it
Always pleased when the videos are helpful and useful Issie wizzie. Thanks for your comment and support
So, I have Beatbox Anthology, the drum machine collection. Is this kind of like the acoustic version of that?
I thought exactly the same as you - do I need another ... now I noticed it seems very userfriendly which is a big plus!!! Thanx for testing.
Thanks for the comment and support Schattenfaenger! Yes I really appreciate the usability factor on this one.
Got it!
Sounds amazing, *UVI* and great review, *Sample Library Review* !
You are welcome Steven - thanks for the comment and support
I already have instruments from UVI and they are just great! If you are interested, don't hesitate!
l need something for ambient music would this work
I love this thing, best drum plug in ever in my view for my purposes
At 29:00 snere is not dynamic. Why?? Velocity is up up up, and Sound is still max. 🤔
That’s exactly what I said and bought it 😁
I really like these drums ! I bought them right away ! It's really fun, a great idea generator, everything is quickly made, if you want that....
Hi Sniff Wonderland, thanks for the support :)
How would you compare Drum Designer to DrumVolution by Wave Alchemy?
Hi Mark, I am sorry I cannot comment as I do not know the DrumVolution instrument
Was wondering the same thing :)

I don't need one more drum sequencer & designer unless I can import samples
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Bora!
dan so many thx for all the videos you put out, keep them coming! :) im not done yet with the video, have to get some sleep now, but maybe a quick question, is sample import possible?
Sadly it looks like it is not possible. You are welcome musicotaku666 and thanks for the support

Rediscovering drums with Drum designer
Can you make it play the sequence just for the first page (as it shows top right) while you're editing it?
@An elephant hiding behind an ant Thanks a lot! I’ll try that.
I like what I hear and see here, but I rather miss variations on every programmed sequence, because one pattern per sequence is not enough to play an entire song with.
Thanks for showing this.
if someone with stylus rmx and xo xln and uvi asteroid and Damege will still need this?could you please advise
Nice!

Nice review :) Does it sync to the DAW?
thanks yes it syncs to daw or can be played as a sample player for triggering with your own midi in daw. Also has a fun feature to drag midi to daw from the sequencer which is very useful for those of use who prefer to edit in the piano roll :)
Many thanks ;)
Yes.
do I really need this was my first thought ,,,I gona buy it anyways
Very high quality sounding samples, punchy and clear, on first impressions very nice sequencer indeed.
He EM, thanks for the comment.
Have you played sync with cubase time?
Hi P. Saraiva. I don't know anything about Cubase time. will have to look into that
Seems like the same concept as wavealchemy's Evolution, doesn't it? What's the big difference?
Bit of an interesting point. I noticed this a few months ago; UVI have dropped support in all their specs for Windows 7 users. Everything including this is listed as 8 to 10.
Hi Musical Neptunian I did not know that (I'm a mac user) thanks for sharing these details.

Enjoyed your video! Subbed!
Wonderful thanks for the sub Abel! :)
Let's hear that Reggaeton song you did :)
It's like listening to my dad trying to get hip with the damn kids theses days.
Smee2000 lol now your making me feel old!
Us old dudes are the only ones who can afford all this crap!
Your face on the thumbnail just lets us see less of the program in the thumbnail ;)
Hi Michael - Was trying to change it up a bit. Are you saying you like the thumbnails with the instrument boxes showcased? Thanks for your input :)
The inability to import makes me sad.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Eli, I know a couple others had the same thoughts
