The Valley is Whitechapel’s magnum opus imo. That album will forever be their benchmark
I can only agree to that. :)
From the 3 new singles, Kin is gonna be even better than The Valley.
This song will always hit me the hardest off this album. Phil made such a masterpiece album. Start to finish there is such a story. This song definitely makes you feel his pain.
This song (and whole album) hits even harder when diving deeper into the Phil's lore.
currently crying watching this again.. i love this song. always hits deep
the valley is one of the best album the world ever got to hear imo, it has EVERYTHING a good album needs plus so much depth musically and lyrically, so much emotion, heaviness, AMAZING instrumentalization (theyre all very great musicians) and the vocals... comeon, it's phil bozeman, so i dont think i have to mention that the vocals are god tier
So basically what happened is Phil got his moms diary when she passed. It broke down all her schizo episodes and everything. The drugs. The abusive boyfriend ( when a demon defiles a witch). Whole thing is a tearjerker
The acoustic version is so beautifully put together
I feel this song deeply as it was this time 5 yrs ago I lost mom .
I love your guys vulnerability! This song is really so emotional his voice and the music is really awesome! Great reaction like always!
🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃
All aboard the *Feel* train
No tickets needed
Also this album had me in tears as well
This album is amazing. It has stayed in my CD changer since I got it!
Not gonna lie, I had also never seen this video but I knew the song. With the visuals it hits even more and it made me tear up as well.
Chels crying did not help there. But it is a masterpiece nontheless.
I freaking love this song.. and it's so weird that the song that makes me discover this band was The saw is the law and then... i choose this one on Spotify for no real reason... the shock it was lol
Now, react to the acoustic version :-D
New subscriber here, love the videos guys
Phil needed this album.
Phil Bozeman has overcome a lot
I definitely get Chels reaction 😢😢 it felt the same...
You guys need to check out their new song "Orphan". It's fully , cleanly sung and even better than Hickory Creek and it's definitely gonna make you cry.
Did that earlier today and you are 💯 on the crying. It will be up in a few days!
@@MatandChelsReact yessss!! I can't wait!!
Nice Nightmare 4 shirt.
Would really like to see you react to some nile - permitting the noble dead to descend to the underworld.
Such a personal song on so many levels. It's about the death of his mother
His dad died I think before he was even 10, caused by, if I remember correctly, something pretty rare, fine one moment, gone the next. The gallery was obviously wrote about the period after, loving with his mom, and apparently terrible human of a stepfather. From interviews with Phil, I gather he fed his mom drugs, and mixed with severe mental illness, she basically lost her mind, which also showed from diary entries of hers littered in the lyrics, most notably the clean sung bridge of when a demon defiles a witch. His mom died of a drug overdose when he was a teen, I want to say he said 15. I think the car crash likely represents the absolute wreck his mom became.... That's my best bet.
Also, I didn't see if you did.... Just discovered this, but you can't do this and not do bring me home, which is arguably even more powerful.
0 down votes at time of comment, cause this song and video are just way too excellent.
Gotta check out vulvodynia i recommend eternal wasteland of galaxies and bring me home by white chapel

Love this one. Check out Bad Bite by ‘68, no need for a reaction I just think y’all will like it. It’s Josh from The Chariot’s new rock n roll duo.

Holy shit I clicked fast as fuck hahahaha
the valley is the best whitechapel ever made. not up for any debates...
False…Somatic Defilement is top shelf, this album is a close yet distant second.
@@nickc4275 on second thought that debate- 😂
@@SylvieAurora it’s so hard to say which is truly better one is raw and violent the other is so deep and very well produced.
I know it's an older song from an older album but if you haven't heard the song Bring Me Home you should react to that.
React to Bring me Home by Whitechapel next
😍😍😍😍😍
Jus wondering why no Sabaton my fav band any song is good a start is ghost division live in Poland
This glasses is soooo hot
I didnt listen to Whitechapel a long time...what is this? what has this fast paced death/grind metal band become? the slipknot path? meh, if i want listen to such a music, there was enough of it in the 90s.
I suggest checking out the entire The Valley album by them before judging from this one song. Especially to understand the backstory.
listen to black bear, lmao
