- This is a follow up video for my previous one about all of the permanent buffs in the Calamity Mod. The video contained some incorrect information due to me not catching some of the newest changes in the mod, so I'm making sure I cover all my bases and have the correct information even if in a separate video.

are the standard shimmer items like vital crystal included in the calamity mod? is shimmer even in? knida new to calamity and couldnt find recent news online...
Shimmer is not in the Calamity Mod, as it's still based in Terraria version 1.4.3
i just started calamity and i have no idea what im doing so this helps i think

About how many hours on average do you think it takes to beat calamity
@@BrendleYT It's been a while since I've completed a full playthrough, but I remember my Revengeance playthroughs taking something like 70-80 hours to finish

So my calamity won't let me craft any of the Perma items and idk what's going on, my character who was maxed out with them lost theirs too

Don't know if I'm just being ignorant or stupid or something, but consuming the Fruits doesn't change my Healthbar Colour. Is there a Config or Interface Setting or something I need to turn on?
I think it only applies to the OG heart graphics. If you have either of the new 1.4 health indicators it won't do anything

Just started Calamity and I can't craft any of these items? The blood orange is made by throwing an apple into water during a blood moon but doesn't increase max hp. Am I doing something wrong?
That method of getting the item is false. The Calamity Fandom Wiki has a lot of stuff that isn't in the actual mod and contains a good bit of misinformation, including how to obtain the items. Through the recipes in this video are the way that you get them currently. I'd suggest looking at the Wiki.gg Calamity wiki, that's the official one with the correct info
@@swyte I have been using that wiki. But I still cannot craft the blood orange any other way. And the miracle fruit isn't craftable either. I found it on one of the small asteroid things in the space layer. I'm at Devourer of Gods and kinda need the extra hp XD
Never mind! I apparently had the community remix mod installed for it and that ruined the blood orange supposedly? All good now!

The items are still crafted, this is up to date. You're probably looking at the Fandom wiki, which carries a lot of false information about Calamity. Check the wiki.gg Official Calamity Wiki.
@@swyte idk if it's just me but i can't craft them either, i got the elderberry from trading with the dye trader and the miracle fruit just randomly spawned on planets :')
@@sarahmarlenp9870 Are you playing with a Community made Calamity Addon? It might change how they work. Crafting is still the only way to obtain the items in the base mod.
