I have just now seen my first videos of you. You do a fantastic job of explaining every step you do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am a beginner working with wood. I appreciate you so much
Playing off the original design…. If you cut out the middle of the small tree you could just reverse stack them middle one onto the big tree and smaller one on top 🤷🏻♀️
Here's an idea of when you were at 14 minutes and 51 seconds you had a chunk of wood on the bench my wife said hey that looks like a giant clothespin you can put some hooks on that and use it as bathroom decor anyways man I love your channel and I hope you keep making videos for years to come
❤❤❤ I love it. I build tiny homes and we just finished building our first home build 2023 in Tobermory Ontario Canada. I also help house 🏠 women in need 😊
@ bout time ya did somethin’! 😂🤪 Just playin’. Thanks for tossing out “no table saw” projects with the others. I’m Still, yes.. Still gaining courage to use mine. Lol! Healing up from surgery but going out to the shop today to attempt to at least turn it on! 😅😂 you and your Beautiful wife have a wonderful weekend!! 💙🥰💙
Now you're speaking my language. Love doing the intricate creative stuff but the simple things that if you add a couple of other skills to can appeal to a broader demographic when selling your product. Nicely done D 🔥💜🔥🤘🏼
Informative video & instructions easy to follow , thank you ! Your humor and commentary is hilarious and so dang fun to watch ! ❤ glad I found your great channel ! Very talented !
The first project resulted in "scrap" pieces that had a birds mouth cut out on the end after you removed the "trees". I think you used the other end of one of them for the last project. If you square a line across the inside point of the birds mouth and cut across, you will have two pieces that are each 1/2 of the tree you made in the first project. Glue the outside faces together and you have another whole tree. Thanks for the videos.
Watching in NW Arkansas. Love your channel and you would envy my pallet pile. I have people bring them to me for free. Just to see what I come up with 😅
For those nesting trees, you should have just put them together, maybe with a thin shim between each edge, then cut the bottom flush. That would give it a more high quality feel in they nest together perfectly smooth and aren't janky.
Hey man I love your videos and your projects are always so solid. You said you started a year ago? How did u learn to film and edit? UA-cam university?
Hahaha , well see I had a leg up as for decades I produced music , so figuring out how to time certain transitions and time certain sounds came naturally for me . Working my way around the software when I first started was very familiar
Hello and thank you for all your hard work showing and teaching. What is the size of your shop? I have a small area and your table saw looks like the one I have. How do you have everything in your shop and have room to walk around.
Thank you so much. I am from Rock Springs Wyoming and still working on getting my store front set up. We are almost there, I will send you photos of my creations once we get set up. Again thank you so much for your videos and inspiration.
I sell locally , I went to my locally owned hardware store and showed them some of my items and talked them into letting me set up a booth there and pay them rent , I do framers markets , flee markets , and sell on Etsy and by word of mouth locally , This is my advice to anyone who is a woodworker selling items … what are you doing to sell them ?? Are you adding your own touch to them ?? Are you just posting and wishing yourself luck , it’s not that your items aren’t selling it’s the fact that you aren’t “selling” them . And that’s a fact , how many times a day do you share your item or online shop on your social media sites ?? How many of your friends do you ask to share your items on social media ? Do you market your items ? Are you a wheel that needs greasing ??? Are you really putting in an effort to sell your items ? Are you using tags and keywords ? Are you taking the best photos and video staging your items ? Ask yourself these questions .
Awsome thanks for the advise and returning an answer to the question i asked. And i scanned threw some of the videos and man i found alotnof interesting videos i cant wait to watch. Thanks again brother
You said not table saw required, but then you clamped the wood to the table saw. So, I guess a table saw is required. LoL! Just bustin' yer chops. Love your videos, Daniel, and I'm going to be making some of these for my family. I actually thought of using plywood for the candy canes. Where you can see the pattern (layers) going around the cane. I might also explore using a round over bit on it. Cautiously of course. Thank you for sharing, Brother and God bless.
Thanks for this video! I'm working on playing with wood in the upcoming months and I could see these being simple enough for me to try. I'm hoping to come up with a soap dish idea using wood once I get into a creative headspace. It would go great in my shop! Something different than boring blocks of wood... lol ♡ Rachael from WithMyHandsAndHeart
Woah wait ! What did you just say. ???? You don’t know it yet but you just predicted the project In my next video. I am almost done editing it , the first project is a soap dish 😱 are you a mind reader !!! 😂 I’m not kidding at all .
@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks not a mind reader but I wish I was.. Just looking to add another useful item to my shop. I can't wait to see what you come up with!! @Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks I even save my smallest pieces of assorted wood species and shapes to create mosaic panels using epoxies. Great logs for the fire pit.

What. ? Obviously a name goes on it ?
I love the idea too, but those were not 2" wide by 3" long. They looked more like 1.5 x 4
